FBI Raids Home of Clinton Foundation Whistleblower

The FBI now exists to protect the Democrats and attack anyone who endangers a Democrat.

The FBI raided the home of a whistleblower who was in possession of documents regarding the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One, according to the whistleblower’s lawyer, Michael Socarras.
The whistleblower, Dennis Nathan Cain, had turned the documents over to the Department of Justice’s inspector general and both the House and Senate Intelligence committees, according to the lawyer.
The FBI rummaged through Cain’s home for six hours, even after the whistleblower handed over the documents, according to Socarras.
FBI agents raided the home of a recognized Department of Justice whistleblower who privately delivered documents pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a government watchdog, according to the whistleblower’s attorney.
The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation alleges.
The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges. Mueller is now the special counsel investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.

This. It's not even kept hidden any longer. Selfishly I didn't want the United States to implode politically until after I died, and it looks like even that isn't going to happen.

The DOJ is the only branch of government now, and it's just a political police puppet. There must have been tons invested in a proxy war with Russia, and by damn, that's not going to be forfeited. Good luck with public support for a war, though, if that even matters.

If there is a need for a new director any governor can nominate a new one - and then we have an election/run off election to appoint a new one.

Moving investigating the Feds to an organization answerable to the states will get rid of much of the conflict of interest that new characterizing the FBI.

Looks a little bit more than that. On the USGS map the northernmost quake is 3km S of BL and the southernmost is 4km N of Anchorage. Distance between those looks like a little more than 10 miles ... so that would imply 15 miles but that's not far.

It also looks like one big cluster around the big one on the USGS map. Except the latest one which is 60km east.

Nice little vertical line of shocks coming out of Anchorage last time I looked.

I like the Anchorage Hotel. Great full animal mounts all over the lobby and bush pilots land on the lake out back, get out, walk 50 feet to the patio and sit down for drinks and dinner. Cool atmosphere and the food is good.

Hopefully the hotel is not in the lake now.

Looks a little bit more than that. On the USGS map the northernmost quake is 3km S of BL and the southernmost is 4km N of Anchorage. Distance between those looks like a little more than 10 miles ... so that would imply 15 miles but that's not far.

It also looks like one big cluster around the big one on the USGS map. Except the latest one which is 60km east.

Yeah, good point, I was talking about from the coast of the inlet to the center of the lake. Also, look at Anchorage proper on the USGS map--lots of little tremors in city of Anchorage, all spread out.

Screwing around with a whistleblower is dicey. A prosecutor presumably swore out a statement to a judge, in order to get this warrant. Knowing who that prosecutor is would help us understand which investigation the FBI is pursuing here. The article doesn't mention who is the prosecutor. Has anyone seen any mention elsewhere?

399 Willowed big time, but just throwing this out there: Sometimes "whistleblowers" become "whistleblowers" to cover for their own malfeasance. It's possible that this guy was already in trouble and decided to file complaints to insulate himself from some other stuff that was coming down on him. All of us know people like that. What if the raid was looking for something completely different, like financial records? Note that this is his lawyer's version of events, and according to his lawyer he gave them the whistleblower information voluntarily. What if that's not even what they were looking for? I don't know this guy, and maybe it's all just like his lawyer tells it. Maybe he's as pure as the driven snow, took the documents and went to the IG and the Congressional committees with them completely out of his desire to serve the country, and innocently never suspected that he was under investigation. But something tells me there's more to this story.
