Is it paranoia if they are out to get you? A journalist who has testified twice before the Mueller grand jury said Monday that he expects to be charged in the coming days in the special counsel’s investigation. “I fully anticipate that in the next few days I will be indicted by Mueller for some form or another for giving false information the special counsel or the grand jury,” Jerome Corsi, a former reporter with Infowars, announced on his daily web show. So we have heard that Congress-woman elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can't afford an apartment in Washington, D.C until she earns a paycheck or two after being 'inaugurated' in January. If she had any brains she would have hung around with Maxine Waters and her daughter. The daughter of Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) will collect more than $200,000 from her mother's campaign after its debts are paid off for leading a lucrative slate mailer operation, Federal Election Commission filings show. Karen Waters has pulled in hefty payments from the campaign to run a slate mailer operation after the FEC issued an advisory opinion in October 2004 allowing Waters to run the operation from the Citizens for Waters, her mother's campaign committee. Prior to 2006, Karen ran the arrangement through LA Vote, a state committee in California. Give her some time and Ocasio-Cortez will probably become another self-made millionaire. Or is she really that stupid? Not Russian collusion. Just another day in Russia. There is a lot of money in the non-profit business. Especially when the poor will always be among you. Among the hidden hot takes on last week’s election is San Francisco’s Proposition C, whose passage by 60% will reverberate through the region and the country as a whole. Proposition C was put together by the city’s non-profits working with the homeless who hope to tax companies making over $50 million to come up with $250 to $300 million a year. They promised that the revenue, which would double their budgets, will be used to house the hardcore street dwellers. These zombified sidewalk dwellers have made national headlines in the past several years. As everyone knows by now, they defecate on public walkways and shoot up in plain view of toddlers hurrying to preschools. They are not required to exchange their plastic syringes, so much of their contaminated plastic refuse floats away into the Pacific, where, I imagine, it gets stuck in the noses of hapless turtles. The election drew to a close last week in most places but not in fishing villages, potato farms and vast tracts of wilderness that comprise Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. The four-way political battle won’t conclude until a computer algorithm has the final say this week on whether Republican Rep. Bruce Poliquin wins re-election or is ousted by Democratic state lawmaker Jared Golden. It is one of 13 undecided House seats. The new way of voting in which all candidates are ranked on a ballot made its national debut in U.S. House and Senate races in Maine. Under the system, a candidate wins with a majority of first-place votes. If there’s no majority, the last-place candidate’s second-place votes are reallocated to remaining candidates. The computerized process can be repeated until there’s a winner. Falling into the category of: Boy was that a bad mistake. He has been largely cut off from communicating with the outside world for the last seven months. His Ecuadorian citizenship, granted to him as an asylum seeker, is in the process of being revoked. His health is failing. He is being denied medical care. His efforts for legal redress have been crippled by the gag rules, including Ecuadorian orders that he cannot make public his conditions inside the embassy in fighting revocation of his Ecuadorian citizenship That will show them. Civil disobedience. UK Style. Climate change protesters plan day of civil disobedience Demonstrators have blockaded the UK energy department in London over what they call the climate change crisis. At least one person has been arrested, the Met Police confirmed. The UK is seen as a leader in policies to reduce greenhouse gases and ministers will soon be considering tougher targets. But the protesters say research suggests the chance of keeping global temperature rise under a 2C danger threshold is just one in 20. The demonstrators blocked entry to the offices by lying chained together on the pavement, while some glued themselves to the doors of the department building. Mueller confirmed that the image includes students from her school district “who appear to be making extremely inappropriate gestures,” yet said that it “was not taken on school property or at a school-sponsored event.” She added that the district “is investigating this situation and is working with parents, staff and local authorities.” “If the gesture is what it appears to be, the district will pursue any and all available and appropriate actions, including legal, to address the issue,” Mueller said. “With that, we want to be very clear: the Baraboo School District is a hate-free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry, are respected and celebrated.” So Baraboo, how is all that spending working out for you? Calling herself an atheist is pure virtue signalling--like when she caustically takes apart leftist sacred cows, but then quickly lets you know that sh considers herself a liberal who always votes Democrat. Posted by: JoeF. at November 13, 2018 10:19 PM (o1fzk) 98

So now, as CNN puts it, the "terrifying" Roman Salute merits criminal investigation if performed in public. Sad thing is, if they turned the open palm into a fist the Black Panthers would scream "Cultural Appropriation". If I was their lawyer, I would claim that there was an American flag outside of the photo that the young men were acknowledging with the Bellamy Salute. Hmm, maybe not. Proper flag protocol these days involves boots and flame. OK, then it was the salute that Martin Luther gave when entering the room to answer to the Diet of Worms. Nope. too Christian they would scream Separation of Church And State. How about the official salute of the Italian Fascist Party made before Benito Mussolini. grrr... the "fascist" word. Posted by: nerdygirl at November 13, 2018 10:30 PM (+lVUW) ----- Because... they're mentally unfit for work. So their home cities ship them off to Denver, where it's cheaper to live on the street, and we have absolutely no vagrancy enforcement whatsoever. 97 I don't really believe Camille Paglia is an atheist. She's too steeped in Catholicism as well as the world of art and she knows what many artists accomplished for the glory of God. She's probably a lapsed Catholic, perhaps an agnostic. Calling herself an atheist is pure virtue signalling--like when she caustically takes apart leftist sacred cows, but then quickly lets you know that sh considers herself a liberal who always votes Democrat. Posted by: JoeF. at November 13, 2018 10:19 PM (o1fzk) Yeah, I've always enjoyed her writing, but find her exasperating in the end, because while she is probably one of the more honest leftists in the US she refuses to consider that a conservative or Republican might be the best person for the job because ewwww, cooties. Even when she recognizes the failings of her fellow Donks, and the virtues of the Repubs that run against them. That is loaded with all kinds of false assumptions. Some people don't want the responsibility of keeping any kind of home. Some people really don't want to be responsible for keeping a job. Do you think it is easier to get drugs and alcohol AND be left alone to enjoy them in San Fran or in a small town? And have you noticed that the weather and scenery is nice in San Fran? Why should lunatic drug addicts go infest a small town and decrease the quality of life for those who live there? Another reason to watch movies at home: MARION, Ind. (WTHR) - The Grant County Health Department has confirmed investigators found evidence of bed bugs at a Marion movie theater. The department told our partners at the Marion Chronicle-Tribune the theater tested positive during an inspection last Friday. An Indianapolis pest control company found bed bug casings in one of four theaters tested at the AMC Classic theater and bed bug eggs in one chair of another theater in the building. Monday night, a Marion woman told Eyewitness News she was bitten all over her back and arms after going to a movie at the AMC Classic theater. "About halfway through, she said she felt like something bite her," recalled Dylan Stephenson, whose girlfriend, Adriana Wisner, was the victim of the bites. Wisner and Stephenson said they left halfway through the movie. Now, they're concerned they may have brought the bugs home. Posted by: Bertram Cabot, Jr. at November 13, 2018 11:14 PM (aKsyK) 276

Ace's recent links to "black people enjoy white music they never heard before (supposedly)" videos made me contemplate at length a song I'd never thought much about, because I knew it so well, because it was played over, and over, and over again, on the radio, when I was a kid: Pink Floyd's Time.
Listening to it with fresh ears, it's brilliant, the lyrics, the alternation of verse style and tune, just topnotch work. And I think maybe I understand that last part, the "Home, Home Again" part that always seemed like a separate song tacked onto the end -- I think maybe it's a guy who is not the protagonist of the rest of the song, arriving home after the protagonist's funeral. Maybe. Anyway, it's great. And it was written by Roger Waters. Who is now a completely unhinged Leftie a-hole. Life is weird. Posted by: Splunge at November 13, 2018 11:28 PM (Vb4BV) 302

Political viewpoint is not a protected class under current law. Not all leftists are bad employees. But most bad employees are leftists. The self-entitlement and all. It's perfectly legal to tell an employee they're being let go not because of their substandard performance, but because of their Chief Paleface Warren bumper sticker.
And, if Twitter would be honest about it, it would be legal to eject a user for supporting Trump. But then they'd be jeopardizing their status as a non-editorial purveyor of content. The fly in this ointment, of course, is that media corporations are owned exclusively by leftists who are in symbiosis with the legislators and regulators who "control" their industry. So the "laws" will always favor their "non-editorial" editorial stance as long as we live. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at November 13, 2018 11:49 PM (5aX2M) 342

AOP.
That failure is COMMON, and is nearly always directly attributable to not servicing the transmission, EVER. For that Ford Transmission, the best service routine is: * drain fluids * bust off the pan and remove and clean the screen. * new gasket, and replace the pan and screen. * refill fluids. * start 'er up, and top off fluids with engine/tranny at idle in neutral. That's an every 50k mile routine. Most owners, DON'T. And so you inherited your pain from one who didn't. It's as simple as new fluid, clean screen. PERIOD. Not doing that costs, and you PAID. You wanna tow loads with that rig? If your truck lacks EITHER an Engine Oil Cooler, or a Tranny Oil Cooler. INSTALL ONE. Ford's internal transmission engineering was largely, correct. External accessory complimentary cooling equipement? Yeah, the bean counters strike again. Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at November 14, 2018 12:38 AM (QzJWU) 385

Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at November 14, 2018 12:38 AM (QzJWU) Well, I bought the truck for $800 because it had a bad transmission. The 4 almost-new tires are worth nearly that. The transmission filter is un-cleanable. Felt filter. It would be nearly impossible to clean it properly, and any attempt to clean it might only loosen crap, which would then circulate. Lack of service may have entered into it, no question there. The other clutches were in perfect condition, and will be reused. The two bands probably could have been reused, but I got new ones. I knew that they were trashy to some extent, but I didn't realize that it looked like a dumpster had been emptied on the roads in all but the wealthiest neighborhoods until I took time to look today. When I was a kid, smokes were $2.50 in CO, because we didn't have tax-mad leftists in charge yet. Meanwhile, leftists in a certain east coast state managed to raise smokes to $7-$10.
So it was profitable to gel-print Right Coast tax stamps, and ship cartons east for underground sale to the bodegas. Then, CO joined Bloomberg's Morality Patrol and raised our taxes on tobacco, and it stopped being worth the effort. Now that FedGov jerkoffs are going to ban menthols, I'm beginning to think about the profitability of resurrecting a new version of this scheme. Sounds good but is in reality not very insightful. All atheistic systems have done exactly that, the socialist ones with worship of the State/Class/Race and/or historical determinism. Point is if the atheist have anything good to replace religion with and I don't think they have. All they have is tyranny, either suicidal (like our Western culture is going through) or murder/suicidal as exampled by the different 'socialist' systems. Seems to me the photog thought it would be a good joke to play on small minds.
And it did the job. We see thousands expressing fear and hate and disdain and all sorts of things except saying "so what". Nazism didn't create the holocaust because of the salute. The salute doesn't create Nazism. It's rather stupid that this gesture has been made a crime in Germany. The US has yet to fall into these traps where gestures and words have become heinous crimes while actual crimes are being either ignored or praised. And as noted think of all the money going into an 'Investigation' that will result in pretty much nothing at all. That's the mental thinking of stupid liberals who blow up every word or gesture that can possibly be thought of as racist or demeaning to someone somewhere. That's not the attitude that made this country the freest and the best. And every incident like this just brings us closer to being jerks like the rest of the world. Ever notice how the stupid leaders of schools that are triggered so easily always seem to be run by women. Maybe some men around to kick a little bit of teenage butt and/or do some role modeling and inventing ways of putting all that energy into some useful form would've stopped this stuff at the start. "Can you have morality without God?"
It's a weird question. The theist says no, for obvious reasons. The Law is imprinted upon the universe. It might almost be conceivable that there could be morality without Humans. The atheists say yes, because they do not believe in the Transcendent, therefore any morality which does exist (and it most certainly does exist) exists without the agency of a god. Because the non-existence of any god is simply an axiom of thought. Both are very much a forteriori arguments. Does belief in God entail belief in morality? well... yeah. No shit. Does belief in morality entail belief in God? ... maybe? Perhaps "morality" in that case is just a set of Pareto-optimal solutions to the same old same old frictions that humanity has butted up against since before the invention of laughter. Either way, at the core of any set of Ethics or Morals is the belief that there is something Special and Unique about humanity that demands a certain respect and dignity. If that respect and dignity does not ultimately come from some form of Transcendence, then it is nothing more than the rankest chauvinism (species-ism?). In other words, morality comes either from an innate respect that all humans owe to each other due to some substantial quality we possess as humans, or it is merely a polite fiction. I look at this as a meandering, poorly planned, ill thought out, and shoddily executed Apologia for the existence of The Transcendent. Posted by: Warai-otoko at November 14, 2018 02:36 AM (BRvh1) 436

Either Christ is Lord, or he ain't. So act like he is, because if you're right, all is well. If you're wrong, you're feckin' worm food anyway. If you act like he isn't? Best case scenario is you're still feckin' worm food. Worst case scenario is a soul-wracking eternity of being irreversibly shut out of communion with the only entity that has ever truly loved you. Good Stuff, there. If a lion male kills and eats the litter of a female he is unsure of the parentage of, does a human condemn his immorality? No, he's a beast. Yet in the next breath, a human will applaud the defense of the litter by the female unto death as a moral or worthy act. Because both acts are judged by humans based upon viewpoints and are both circumstantially valid. We applaud or understand the looter stealing food for his family, and hate the looter stealing TVs. VIA, yes, museum and "hypo-center" today. Museum was well done. When I have more time, a more detailed review. Usual problems of no/distorted historical framing, but not egregious.
Probably not as bad as the average American college student is exposed to - in the rare case they get any WWII history at all. A depressing thought. One funny: at the very end they have video interviews with survivors. One was an Aussie POW. His take: bomb was a good thing, saved many lives. Nothing in museum directly contradicts this, but let's say it is not the general tone of the texts. Posted by: Rhomboid at November 14, 2018 05:00 AM (GZ/b1) 484

From the Pat Buchanan article some history I doubt .0001% of Americans know... John F. Kennedy was beloved by the media elite. Yet JFK canceled all White House subscriptions to the New York Herald Tribune and called the publisher of The New York Times to get him to pull reporter David Halberstam out of Vietnam for undermining U.S. morale in a war in which Green Berets were dying. Ocasio-Cortez led a protest at the office of Nancy Pelosi, whom she says she admires very much. Cortez said that she thought Pelosi would appreciate the civil engagement. (LOL) About 31 people were arrested but Cortez left before then-because of course she did!!

Posted by: FenelonSpoke at November 14, 2018 06:02 AM Wouldn't be prudent for the next President or Vice-President of the United States to get arrested. Think it couldn't happen? Think again. If the promise is free 'Medicare for all' the African-American and Hispanic constituencies who really flexed their muscle last week could put together an unstoppable coalition. ObamaCare was the foot in the door. When it could have been killed, John McCain put his fist up in the air and pointed his thumb down. Now 30 trillion dollars in debt and counting, a huge program like 'Medicare for all' would be the knife in the heart.
