The Morning Report - 11/8/18

celebrating.jpg

Good morning kids. Before we delve into politics and the aftermath of the Midterms, there are a few breaking stories that take the lead. Last night, a gunman opened fire in a California bar and killed 12 people, including a sheriff's deputy. Details are still sketchy so we'll be following as the story unfolds. I don't know how that could've possibly happened in the land of Chi-Com Di-Fi, but prayers for the victims and their loved ones.

Now that the midterms are over, the Democrats are fulfilling their promise to return to civility by "collateral damaging" Tucker Carlson. Evidently a mob showed up at his house yesterday, threatened him and told him to leave the country. And then Daniel Greenfield tells us about the renewed war agains the Jews in New York City (aka "Hymietown" to the uh-Reverned-uh-JACK-sunnn). When I say the Jews, I mean the ones that control the weather and worship at the "synagogue of Satan" as Herr Farrakkkan tells us, not the ones that reject the Torah and are rushing to get their foreskins reattached. Unless they're transsexual and want the whole 4 inches. But I digress. Considering the fact that America just sent two openly anti-semitic Muslim women to Congress, re-elected wife beater and Farrakhan disciple Keith Ellison, narrowly defeated anti-semite Andrew Gillum in Florida (Florida!) and at least since 2012 if not before is openly calling for the United States to join the UN-led movement to fire up the ovens at Birkenau once more (which is weird since I thought according to them the gas chambers and crematoria were a myth?), is any of this really a surprise? This is today's Democrat Party, people. More on this in a moment but back to the Midterms.

With the dust still settling after the midterms, I think it's getting a bit easier to put things into more of a perspective, so we can really kind of divine the tea leaves as it were and figure out a way forward. On a tactical level, losing the House is to be charitable, suboptimal. That said it could've been much much worse as the Trump House lost the least number of seats in modern midterm election history. Recall that Obama helped to wipe out his party in 2010 and really every election thereafter until now (and all of the candidates he stumped for felt the shit-midas touch and went down in flames). Unfortunately this did not have to happen at all. 40 GOP congressmen, rather than helping President Trump enact his agenda knowingly or not were duped by the yearlong media hype that the Blue Wave was going to wipe them out, and so opted not to be a part of it. I swallowed the excuse that they were being term-limited out of their committee chairmanships as the reason for retiring. Had even half of them stayed, the incumbency factor - RINO or not - might have preserved our hold on the House. And now, the ones that PDT called out yesterday are bitching and moaning and exposing their true colors. At least, their exit from elected office will hopefully be a salutary effect on the GOP as a whole. We shall see. And in the Senate, we have increased our advantage to at least 53 or 54 seats. This is actually crucial since we may yet have a shot at at least one more SCOTUS pick before 2020. Several good links at the bottom of the politics section analyzing what it all means going forward.

Beyond that, not even 18 hours passed since the polls closed that the Democrats in the House announced a full scale war on the President vis a vis impeachment of him and Justice Kavanaugh (um, check your Constitution "Nads" Nadler, unless you burned it already). Bring it. The President, to his credit, is yet again attempting to be conciliatory and the Dems are rising to take the bait and are biting his hand in front of the TV cameras. Nadler and now Schiff-for-brains I think have already driven the first big nail into their coffin for 2020 with this. In any case, all of this prevents them from bringing forth any legislation that once again tightens the ratchet towards Socialism so that is a good thing. Let them waste the next two years on all of this.

But circling back to the now open insanity and raving America- and Joo-Hate that are official pillars of the Democrat Party platform, what got me and others down yesterday was the fact that we are looking at psychos like Gillum, Abrams, Loopy Fiasco, Sinema et al and aside from being repulsed think, man how can the Dems be so stupid as to run these fiends? But that said, I came to the realization that there is a significant number of people in this country that look at these same people and see the equivalents of Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and Thomas Paine. An then a feeling of emptiness hit me in the gut and the question in my mind crystallized "Is the coming of Trump a harbinger of at least a shot at an American renaissance or, even if reelected, is it just speed bump on our inevitable decline and fall as the republic as founded?" G-d help us. The American experiment is a miracle of history, given the nature of mankind over the previous 10,000 years of organized civilizations (and really the nature of man's DNA). As wondrous as we are as a society, even as completely f***ed up as it is right now, can we beat this back and defy the odds? In any case, life is always full of surprises and we can never know the future. So live for the simple things and joys, put your faith in the Lord, and do whatever you can to piss off a Leftist at least once a day.

The other big story that broke yesterday is the ankling, finally, of Jeff Sessionszzzz as Attorney General. He's being replaced in the interim, not by Rod Rosenpenis but by Matthew Whitaker, an open critic of the Mueller witch hunt and IIRC someone who would've liked to have seen Hillary prosecuted if not investigated - a real one, not a Comey one. The Dems have absolutely gone insane with the geschrei of "Constitutional crisis!" Funny since that group openly seeks to distort if not utterly discard that document if it had the chance. The functions of the Executive branch are limited to that of the Chief Executive. I guess Judge Buch M. Danno in Honolulu has yet to weigh in. Names like Kobach and Giuliani have been suggested along with Gowdy and Krispy Kreosote. Feh! J. Christian Adams would be my choice, for no other reason than to sack he entire Civil Rights division as a giant flipping of the bird in Eric Holder's direction. And that leads us into the realms of the Mueler witch hunt itself. The President still holds all the cards vis a vis declassifying all the documents to the aforementioned which no doubt would expose many Dems and Deep-Staters as the frauds and crooks that they are. Stay tuned.

In other news, Rabbi Fischer weighs in on Jm.J Acosta, "Tank" Abrams' crew is desperate to force a runoff in Georgia (I guess they didn't forge enough ballots), 1.5 million ex-cons in Florida can now vote, the green agenda got shellacked at the voting booth, even in Washington State, a look at how Obama's CIA helped liquidate 60 secret operatives, PDT is talking deal making to "pay for middle class tax cuts" (this gets me crazy; you don't pay for tax cuts!), Tubby Riefenstahl hates black people, a call to end the pointless and bloody Afghan war, can sanctions bring about Iranian regime change, Xer-Scouts sue Xe-Scouts over copyright infringement and lastly, a tranny sues a group of women for refusing to wax poetic...

*sound of Sefton searching for nearest oven to stick head into*

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

20 Has Don Lemon said yet that Tucker "signed up for this?" If not, don't worry, he will.

But I'm not 100% sympathetic to Tucker here. He has continued to invite Phillipe Reines on his show, and continued to treat him with respect, and even as a friend. Reines has EXPLICITLY argued for exactly this treatment for Republicans, and has not backed down. (He's also the guy who doxxed the Richmond bookstore owner.)

If you're not going to send bastards like that to Coventry, then you really are asking for it. Unless Tucker thinks those actions won't be turned against him, because he's Media! Sorry, Carlson, that just delays your spot on the menu. Maybe.

61 is it just speed bump on our inevitable decline and fall as the republic as founded?"

For as long as Christianity is marginalized, yes.

A huge part of the relocation of the dregs of the planet to this country is one vector of many in destroying this republic.

The natural state of man is to sin, death, destruction and ruin. When this undisciplined man is allowed to operate without consequence, society will indeed fail and inevitably be run by the most violent, corrupt and soulless.

We were told that a Constitutional Republic is for a moral people and totally unsuitable for any other.

We were told that for as long as the US is a Christian nation it will be a good nation.

As you can see, that all has been jettisoned. You are literally evolved pond scum and afforded the same rights and consideration as pond scum.

And after that were the progressives happy did they rejoice?

80 You cannot parody the Left:

Because the Boy Scouts have decided to admit girls into their programs, they've been using slogans like "Scout me in" and "Scouts," which the Girl Scouts contend falsely advertises that they're the primary leadership development organization, according to court documents.

"Such misconduct will not only cause confusion among the public, damage the goodwill of GSUSA's GIRL SCOUTS trademarks, and erode its core brand identity, but it will also marginalize the GIRL SCOUTS Movement by causing the public to believe that GSUSA's extraordinarily successful services are not true or official "Scouting" programs, but niche services with limited utility and appeal," the lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York read.

Let me see if I have this right:

Step 1: After decades of harassment, Boy Scouts finally forced to accept gay troop leaders - intentionally "eroding its [offensive] core brand identity."

Step 2: Once LGBTQ activists are in, Boy Scouts quickly expands to accept and encourage gay, transgender and female Scouts.

Step 3: Instead of being rewarded for getting with the SJW program, they are sued for "causing confusion among the public."

Abrams refuses to concede but the Kemp camp says that if all the provisional and early ballots (why weren't the early ballots already counted?) yet to be counted go to Abrams, it would not be enough to push Kemp down below 50% + 1. My hope is that since Kemp waited to late Wednesday to declare victory (and say that the transition will be started), that they know what they are talking about. I also hope that my gut feeling about Kemp's character being very cautious and circumspect is correct, and he would not have come out with this statement if not sure about the results.

We are at a point where our differences are irreconcilable.

Citizens that have irreconcilable differences have a civil war.

How did the North win the war?

The more and more people are priced out of supplying their own service, whether that is food, housing, education or health care, they are willing to accept the premise that someone else will step in and provide it for them.

Due to the utter stupidity of the average American, it can be pointed out that opening the gates to the entire planet to feast upon our resources will by necessity make it far more expensive and wealth draining on the dwindling few who can suffer the price increases - but that will go unheard because the truth is too difficult, yet letting "a few poor and downtrodded" into this country is emotionally satisfying.

In blue Harris County, 1.2 million votes were cast with 900 thousand of those being straight-party ticket votes. Of those straight-party votes, 500k were for the Dems and 400k were for the Pubs.

For all of the county-wide offices, like Judge, or County Clerk, or Treasurer, the straight-ticket Dem vote carried every one of those races. Only in the smaller subset races like for a specific district or precinct, did the conservative voters retain or put in a Pub.

In 2016 with Hillzabub on the ticket, the same thing happened, wiping out an entire class of Pub Judges and county officers.

So I am left wondering if the point of O'Rourke's campaign was to do just that in the blue enclave cities - wipe out all the city or county wide offices held by Pubs. To sweep into office all the Dems in their stronghold cities.

O'Rourke didn't need to win to cause long-lasting damage, just being popular and getting the FSA to turn out and vote straight-ticket dem in our cities is enough.

The point being, is that the Left conjures up Rights in pace with the advances in technology.

The MS-13, human trafficking and kiddie porn stuff is a direct result of the open borders mess created by Dems/exacerbated by Obama. 225 Well, yes. My point is reversing that and getting back to what there was say pre-1965 with maybe a few things here and there for those truly in need.

What do you mean "truly in need"?

No matter what you are dying of, you will always consider restoration a "true need" no matter what it costs the other guy to pay.

This will sound cruel, but in the same way that we now have super-bugs - TB and other diseases that are increasingly drug resistant, we have gone the other way in spackling over genetic deficiencies that normally took people out at an age where they couldn't pass on those defective genes on to another generation.

Now we can't even drink tap water without boiling it because our systems have devolved to such fragility that what would have been considered premium quality water a couple generations ago or in a third world nation near-by will now put us in the emergency room.

If some brave resistance member hasn't leaked Trump's returns after 2 years, it pretty much isn't going to happen. Not saying it is impossible they wont be leaked, but those things are under very strict control and are electronically tagged every time they are accessed.

The IRS director most likely has those under his personal control by now with no one outside his inner circle able to access them.

What exactly do they want of their government? There are very few uninsured, compared to registered voters.

A huge majority of those insured get it through their employer, and their costs are kind of invisible.

Are they concerned that their costs, meaning copays and deductibles, and whatever else out of pocket is happening, is going up way too high and they want their government to stop the rise?

Because if that is it, what other than complete socialism of healthcare, such as what the Brits have, is the answer?

What exactly do "the voters" want, and who on the left is addressing it?

There were a few reasons for the loss of the House to the Democrats...here are just three....

1. Around 40 idiot repub reps decided to retire at once. The stupid party strikes again.

2. Many of the republicans campaigned very poorly....or as others have said on this site....they campaigned like typical republicans. Uninspiring.

But most importantly.....

3. Democrats ran a lot of so called "moderate" (yeah yeah....WE KNOW they are left of center crazy but they RAN as moderates) candidates in "red" districts. They ran a lot of ex-military guys and gals and ALL their advertising was pitching conservative themes. They duped a lot of people yet again....which is disappointing....you could say they MANCHINNED the electorates in those districts.

...so many people get ALL their political info from ads and the propaganda media....so democrats won a lot of seats they shouldn't have been close to winning.....

....just my two cents

I explained to her my eyes are fine, I don't wear glasses, and I'm just looking out for problems. Insurance is $150/year, and an eye exam is $80-$100.

It was like watching a little kid learn about Santa Claus. Then I asked if she wore glasses (no) and how much she paid for insurance that covers her glasses every year.

I live outside the city limits so my 'local government' is the county. 306 My take on Acosta is different than everyone else's. I don't much care if it was "assault" or not, or whether he's a dick or not. He is, and everyone knows it. Even Douchebag Jim knows it.

My take is that the moral high ground the left (including CNN WH reporters) tries to seize is purely for PR purposes. They don't believe one iota of any of this. Acosta doesn't give a shot about the "caravan", he cares only about its utility as a cudgel to hit Republicans with on national TV.

Remember how evil it was to consider supporting Roy Moore, because he liked teenage girlfriends when he was 31? Republicans were all pedophile accessories after the fact. I live in a state that just re-elected a guy manifestly guilty of public corruption and who spent years (!!) traveling to the DR for the purpose of sex with minors. All my Democrat friends justified voting for Menedez because he is a critical tool to have in the anti-Republican fight.

Morality does not matter to the left. Any time, every damn time, the left cites morality in arguing some point to us, it's disingenuous. They do not mean it. Acosta deserved the verbal beat down he got because is is a lying sack of shit and CNN puts him there to editorialize on national tv. Morality is not their goal. Winning is all they care about.

Fuck 'em.

308 128 The Girl Scouts story is going to play out again and again as feminists learn that embracing gender fluidity stuff will destroy all of the wonderful (and not so wonderful?) goodies and safe spaces they've created just for women. Say buy-bye to women's college scholarships, sex-segregated sports, sex-segregated bathrooms/dressing rooms/locker rooms. sex-segregated awards, etc.. Now you, too, can experience what that men's only golf club in Atlanta experienced when harassed by a lone activist feminist, ladies!!

For the urgent care I go to, there are 2 prices. With insurance it's $200 a visit, cash price is $125. I have a high deductible plan so with insurance it costs me more than the cash price, since I'd have to pay that $200 anyway with insurance.

I use that urgent care as essentially my primacy doctor so I go there a couple of times a year. Otherwise in good health. But every time I have to have the same discussion with the front desk lady who can't for the life of her can't understand why I'd want to pay cash when she has all my insurance info already in the system.

And we should remind them of that every time they try to pitch at argument. Don't even bother reasoning with them. Just remind them that they are the party of abortion, euthanasia, James Hodgkinson, Anthony Weiner, rapist Bill Clinton, Farrakhan, and I suppose Menendez.

I don't discuss morality with those who boo the boy scouts and Christianity at their conventions.

434 Obama/CIA: The hardest - but IIRC - most accurate intel is humint. Takes years to place and maintain. I can't help but think this might related to a certain email server.

SCOTUS: What better way to elect the first female president than to have RBG announce her retirement after the DNC convention - assuming it's a woman or woman on the ticket. Heck, could even be announced in Feb and what would Mitch be able to do? He might go with it, but certainly there's 4-5 squishes, Murk, Collins and Romney off the top of my head.

State Level: After losing 900+ seats across the board over 8 years, the pendulum was bound to swing back. Still 600+ up.

Trump: Can't totally agree with premise of infrastructure thesis. Inner city minorities have been conditioned to vote D and with a D house, they would be able to take half the credit. If for no other reason than: See, the Rs are racist. It wasn't able to pass until WE took the house.

Get a fucking grip. Rinos bailed because they just can't even with Trump, gope shoves more rinos in to replace, voters say NOPE! Dem gets the seat. Does this mean "everyone is embracing socialism! End of the republic!" Ummm, no. No it does not. It just means dems vote lock step for the candidate with a D after the name and the normal people say fine, we told you and told you to stop pissing us off and you didn't listen. We'll sit this out until you assholes get on board with OUR agenda.
Now maybe some good guys got caught up in the purge but most of the losses were rinos running to replace other rinos. Big fucking deal. They can make it up next time. The dems don't have a large margin in the House, we gained in the Senate, and big daddy Trump abides at the top.

Look at it this way. A good percentage of them will likely commit

Jeez, Tucker is civil to his leftist nutbag guests but he hardly goes easy on them. That's why his show is so popular - because he challenges leftist kooks. They go away thinking they've won the debate when in fact they have made asses of themselves. WTH do you want Tucker to do, spit on them and punch them? Tucker is a tough and sometimes snarky interviewer, but some people want him to act like someone on "The Jerry Springer Shou."

610 Maybe things are different now but in the 80's I had 2 grandparents "fall" but it wasn't falling. Their hips broke, and they fell. osteoporosis, I think.

They are stealing my Florida. With all eyes on Cali and RBG no one is realizing that our country is being stolen as they count one fraudulent vote after another.

612 Oops, I was misinformed. Fake news. Trump didn't push RBG down the stairs. She's just really old, and should retire.

If you subsidize them, they will come.

Got a news flash for you. They are already here. Last week I had to go to the local Social Security office to report my change of address (why I had to go to the SS office rather than do this online is another story entirely). And I noted right off that the large majority of the people there were not of retirement age, nor were they American citizens (ICE would have had a field day with this crowd). Most of the crowd were foreigners (Latins, Asians, Africans), signing up for their "benefits", even though they were not citizens nor had they ever paid a dime into the system. There was a relative handful of elderly Americans there, seeing about their SS payments, but the large majority were not. You had to see it to believe it.

616 Tucker was on air at the time (I believe his show is live, not taped.) He said nothing, but at the end of his show he abruptly announced that he would not be on for the next two days.

I came to the realization that there is a significant number of people in this country that look at these same people and see the equivalents of Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and Thomas Paine.

No, they see the equivalents of Lenin, Mao, and Pol Pot. And they think that's a *good* thing.

626 There is a way to stop what is going on in FL and AZ, if McConnel has the guts to do it.

Article I,
Section 5
1: Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members,

In the 1980's, the Dems used their majority to seat the loser by a majority vote in a contested Indiana House seat election.

Under that power, the Senate clearly has the power to subpoena information and witnesses, to investigate any voting and electoral irregularities. The Senate's decision is final and not subject to constitutional challenges.

Any criminal actions uncovered could be referred to DOJ and DHS for investigation. When election officials and party officials start going to prison, you will see this kind of post hoc election revisioning stop.

629 602 I don't understand these precincts that are taking so long to report. I'm a chief judge at my precinct in Maryland and we have to turn everything over to the BOE by the morning after the election. Ugh, I can't believe the Dems may steal two Senate seats (and maybe even the GA governorship).

Mass mail-ins for early voting has always been ripe for election fraud. I'm surprised so few here on this blog don't realize this.

Voting should be on Election Day, period. Very few exceptions should be tolerated.

This isn't just a "leftwing nutbag". It's someone who has gone full Maxine and then some. If he can't fry him on that - and he did not - and then ends joking with him, he's not fighting it. He is ultimately complicit. This isn't some ordinary lefty. It's not even just letting them get away with lies, as he does with Hahn. It's ignoring the elephant in the room.

Some people need to be excluded. (C S Lewis, "After Priggery, What?"). Reines is far worse than Acosta. And Carlson seems to have little problem with that. And until people start having serious problems with it, it will continue and escalate.
