Surprise! Now Chuck Schumer Demands That Sessions' Temporary Replacement, Matthew G. Whitaker, Must Recuse Himself Too!!!
ROSENSTEIN ON WAY TO WHITE HOUSE FOR "MEETING"

Because he wrote an Op-Ed expressing his opinion that Robert Mueller had overstepped his authority.

I know you're all shocked.

I'll tell you what: If this Whitaker guy really offers a firm and final rebuke of Schumer's gamesmanship, who knows, maybe he could be worthy of being AG.

And while the Democrats express outrage that Trump asked for Sessions' resignation, let's see what Democrats were saying last year...

Feels like the Democrats are pulling a Full Comey Flip-Flop Maneuver again.

More: Session's resignation letter. It's a snoozer.

BIG UPDATE: Could today be the day, as Michael Corleone says, that we settle all oustanding family business?

Not fired, NBC is reporting -- but pulled off of all oversight of Russia-related, Muller-related business.

That makes sense, given that the acting AG hasn't recused himself and therefore should be in charge.

This is why the silly bitch Schumer demanded that Whitaker also recuse himself for absolutely no reason, of course. He wants to keep His Boy in place.

But Emerald Robinson hears he might also be tendering his resignation:

@EmeraldRobinson
BREAKING: Sources tell me Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein will be offering his resignation within the next 48 hours. #OANN

The Orangemanbadfather:

The Cucks are really whining now -- "Please let us continue with the FusionGPS political op we jointly funded with our political partners the Democrat Party and the Hillary Clinton campaign! Or else you're breaking established norms!!!"

Established norms of using a partisan, unverified oppo file to open an FBI investigation just because Hillary Clinton needed to be able to say "There's an FBI investigation on Trump, too," to deflect from her real FBI-investigated crime.

12 Also, this recusal shit has got to stop -- the actual rules for judges and attorneys recusing themselves are very narrowly interpreted.

AG's are allowed to have opinions. There is serious case law on ALJ's not being forced to recuse themselves even with seemingly serious conflicts of interest.

He had an utter moron for a campaign manager.

In his adverts he was promising to "help teachers". Seriously? Was he running for the US Senate or the Texas Senate, because it is the latter that has far more to do with teacher pay than the Fe'ral Government.

And is he so remarkably stupid that he doesn't know who his base is? Parents who have given up on the school system and have their kids in private or are home schooled. Makes absolutely no sense to tell these people that their taxes will be increased to pay the government teachers more when Ted's constitutents hate what the government schools have done.

I think that Ted was paying for Beto's inside guy to torpedo Ted's reëlection.

The US isn't dumb.

We're just too kind and forgiving to our enemies who have none and will be relentless.

Many Muslims do not understand that the countries they come from are poor and dangerous BECAUSE OF ISLAM!

Take a look at wherever it takes hold. Standard of living goes down, crime goes up. Economy goes in the toilet.

It's almost as if it's on purpose *tongue in cheek*

I think that's one of the reasons the Protestant church did so well because the Catholic church was the same way as Islam for quite a while and still is in some countries. They're dogma demands poverty it seems.

Protestants understand that the Lord helps those who help themselves and not just others. Bring on the Capitalism whereas the Catholics embrace communism. Except where there's actual like communism.

482 I think that's one of the reasons the Protestant church did so well because the Catholic church was the same way as Islam for quite a while and still is in some countries. They're dogma demands poverty it seems.

Protestants understand that the Lord helps those who help themselves and not just others. Bring on the Capitalism whereas the Catholics embrace communism. Except where there's actual like communism.

If Nadler freaks over Whitaker's taking over the Mueller probe, by the time the Dems take the House, Trump can already have a new AG lined up for Cocaine Mitch to get through quick confirmation.

Presumably the new AG won't find any conflict of interest with Whitaker's temporarily handling the Mueller probe, and if Nadler does, well, then the new AG can keep Whitaker away from the probe from then on, while handling it himself/herself.

That chick would casually read off polls and provide trends with occasional 'looks like she'll take that one" or "he's got this one'" for various candidates.

Grassley's 400+ page final report pretty much demolished all the claims against Kavanaugh, including Ford's, and has the FBI checking into Ford's beach friend Monica McLean for witness tampering.

And declassifying the FISA warrants and Ohr's 403s will show it was a collusion between the FBI, DOJ and the Brits.

707 697 Media are indeed allies of the Dems, but it is far beyond a little political bias. They fabricate and target ... and ignore massive crimes against the nation. They are aligned with the seditious side of the Dem Party.

Of course that is at the tip of their spear ... most of them can act civil at other times, but so can most tyrants (I would imagine). Those cocktail parties are so swanky and fun ... sure they'd sacrifice a nation just to be in with the in crowd.

I think Limbaugh is right in that it's the Media that drives the agenda and the Dems just push the buttons and cast the votes to implement it.

727 Sad story for Sessions. Previously great and humble man was not ready for a political fight and ended up doing tremendous damage, opening the door to the phony Mueller investigation/cover-up, hamstringing Trump's two years of a Republican Congress and allowing the crimes of Hillary, Brennan, Obama et al to be covered up.

In that et al. are Mueller, Rosenstein and McCabe, the three FBI/DOJ a-holes who enabled the Uranium One collusion with Russia (actually a criminal conspiracy). One guy not being a fighter is all it took to let the criminals rule the roost, and we still aren't out of it.

No sign that Sessions realizes even now what he did wrong or he would have un-recused himself. Sad and shameful end to what had been a great career.
