There is no crime of collusion, the only indictments are of a made-up crime "conspiracy to defraud the US" or they were regarding behavior undertaken long before Trump, or they were process crimes (lying to the FBI) after the op failed (Papadopolous), and they needed something for leverage.

Well the problem is that they've been fed a steady diet of innuendo, supposition, implication, and guilt by association for two years now. They get their news and information from MSNPC and NPCNN. So they think there's this airtight case built up based on unrelated things hinted at being connected and "this guy was guilty and he worked for Trump."
They don't really even know the facts of the cases involved or what has been proven or demonstrated. They haven't apparently heard every single major person in the investigation say "there is no evidence of Russian collusion by the Trump administration or electoral team." They haven't noticed that every person busted and tried was so for stuff totally unrelated to the election and years before working for Trump, briefly.
They just have this wall with ribbons connecting pictures in their head like a police station in a movie, and think its all going to fall in on the president, saving them from the horror of the Republican in office.

I'm somewhat optimistic this "caravan" crap will get pre-empted on the Mexican end.
But I find it impossible to understand, as I've been saying for a while, that the new trade deal didn't have vital, ironclad, deadly serious side understandings on this sort of thing, as well as Mexico getting control of the border region and stopping the flow of people (which is already at a disastrously high record rate, apart from the "caravan" stunt).
There was an interesting aside by Trump this week (can't recall if on the twatters or in one of his press availabilities) - to the effect that trade deals are not worth accepting damage of the sort inflicted by mass illegal migration. Interesting because it implied some serious arm-twisting, using the trade situation as leverage.

Not sure the logic applies as it does in the Senate - where Dems have so many more seats up (in the House of course they're all up, every time), but it's sort of based on the odds. GOP has to win a large % of the "close" races to not lose their majority.

The entire thing strikes me as a set up by someone trying to bring down the crown prince.

I have bought no bayonets or blades, haven't bothered to get a bayonet for the M1s. More of a shooter than collector.
All but one of the Mosins I have came with bayonets - those long, skinny triangle spike thinggys. Rifles are long as pitchforks when you attach one. The sights are regulated, so they say, with the bayonets mounted, but I rarely see a WWII photo with bayonets mounted, and I see a LOT of Soviet WWII photos.

I've been wanting a sticker like the Fairbairn knife but when I handled a modern reproduction, I didn't like the feel. The US developed the M3 to fill the same stabby niche as the F/S commando knife, and as an imitation of it, but I think it has a better grip to it, at least to me.

So apparently, a simple groundless accusation should now be sufficient reason to mount a formal Congressional investigation.
