Report: Mueller Preparing to Announce Key Findings in Russia Hoax Probe After Elections;
Rosenstein Reportedly Urging Him to Wrap It Up Already

Not sure if that bit about Rosenstein is legit or just disinformation pumped out there to trick Trump into letting him stay on at Justice.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is expected to issue findings on core aspects of his Russia probe soon after the November midterm elections as he faces intensifying pressure to produce more indictments or shut down his investigation, according to two U.S. officials.

Specifically, Mueller is close to rendering judgment on two of the most explosive aspects of his inquiry: whether there were clear incidents of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump's 2016 campaign, and whether the president took any actions that constitute obstruction of justice, according to one of the officials, who asked not to be identified speaking about the investigation.

...

Rosenstein has made it clear that he wants Mueller to wrap up the investigation as expeditiously as possible, another U.S. official said.

This isn't as big a deal as you might think, because the Democrat-Media Complex has its next conspiracy theory cum Special Counsel investigation lined up: Whether or not Trump aided and abetted the Saudis in killing a guy who, quite frankly, was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and staunch Islamist who used to pal around with a terrorist named Osama bin Ladin.

40 a guy who, quite frankly, was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and staunch Islamist who used to pal around with a terrorist named Osama bin Ladin.

He might well have been tight with Huma Abedin's family in Saudi, being "journalistic" mouthpieces for the muzzie brotherhood that they were. Then again, lots of the Saudi royal family were pretty tight with that gang, too, Saudi Arabia having long been a pretty strict sharia sort of shithole.

I have no idea why anyone thinks we should give a shit about what the Saudis do to each other, anyway.

Funny, I don't remember even 1/100th the press back when the Saudi Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice dipshits made those schoolgirls stay inside the burning school because they weren't properly dressed for public. Can't say I cared much about that incident, either ...

This all started with Clinton. (Bill)

The Left was forced to believe things they could not rationally accept but to accept them would endanger their hold on power and Hillary's ascension in the future.

They doubled down in 2000 claiming Bush/SCOTUS stole the election from them.

And it's only gotten worse.

Psychologists will tell you that believing in a lie or a web of lies not only indicates insanity but can also induce it.

The twists and turns of maintaining falsehood to be truth is more than the brain can handle beyond a certain point.

That point differs with every person but it's there.

There are a few that can maintain themselves but generally they have other mental problems already.

No. You can use phrases like de facto and de jure, but that's just not how things work.

And Unitary Executive and blah blah blah.

The FBI is situated beneath the Department of Justice, which is a Cabinet office, which makes it subordinate to the Executive, but nobody wants the FBI to be a political extension of the President's powers.

Nobody. In addition to org charts and codified law the legitimacy of the government rests on the acceptance of the people and the people don't want an FBI that just finds what Obama wants it to find. Nor Trump, nor the next girl.

What IS concerning to me about the whole thing is how the new SA leader could be so moronic in the Op planning. I mean, IN the Saudi consulate in Turkey?

"Abdul. Here's the plan. Let's kill him somewhere with the largest number of video cameras and audio monitoring equipment we can find. Bonus points if its somewhere that's intensively surveilled by every intelligence service in the world, chiefly our regional adversary, Turkey, who desperately needs some mojo with the US."

Abdul: "Great plan, sire. May I suggest that the hit team be both large and populated with people with direct connections to your administration, and that we fly them in-country using one of your registered private airplanes? I also suggest we kill him during the daytime, loudly, so that people in the building can hear what's happening. Finally, if his fiance is waiting just outside the consulate for him to exit, we'll ignore her and let her be."

"Brilliant! Make it so!"

Good grief. With limitless cash, they could have just tricked the guy into wearing a MAGA hat and a t-shirt reading "I Hate Gays, Transgenders and Kale" in downtown Portland.

"Not what you want" may be true, but decidedly does not make the CHIEF executive guilty of "obstruction" by telling his employees what to do. That was the point he was making. You cannot charge or, (LOL) convict the POTUS of "obstruction" by telling agencies under his purview what to do, or how to do it.

You may not like it that way, but that is the way it is.

306 This isn't as big a deal as you might think, because the Democrat-Media Complex has its next conspiracy theory cum Special Counsel investigation lined up: Whether or not Trump aided and abetted the Saudis in killing a guy who, quite frankly, was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and staunch Islamist who used to pal around with a terrorist named Osama bin Ladin.

Not even the Democrats are dumb enough to expend energy on a Saudi conspiracy theory. The only reason the "collusion" narrative had any traction is because it might have cause leftist soccer moms to believe that it had deprived them of the first woman president. That it had nullified their vote and stole their sovereignty (you know, how illegals do).

A few days from now, the Saudi thing will blow over. It affects no one in the slightest, and the MSM will not be able to sustain a cat 5 outrage hurricane based on it. A hurricane needs to be powered by heat and the leftist base won't be expending enough heat to keep it going as long Hurricane Mueller. Anyway, that's my Al Gore take on the subject.

If true, still doesn't help Rosenstein. In THIS scenario he was derelict in his duties by signing a fatally misleading FISA application and otherwise being led around on a leash by the corrupt cabal at the FBI, not catching it, and then perpetuating the hoax into 2+ years of the Trump administration.

Seems to me, the only way Rosenstein comes out of this fiasco even remotely clean is if he WAS in on "it," and then turns and blows the whole thing wide open. But even then, he still retires. Rosenstein is not long for the FBI me thinks. And this goes for everyone else that got within 50 meters of the Trump or Clinton investigations. I'll be very disappointed in Trump if he doesn't aggressively decimate upper management at DOJ and FBI, post-Mueller probe (assuming no Russia collusion claims).

337 Did Muhammad plagiarize the Bible?

Posted by: bonhomme at October 17, 2018 05:50 PM (9qZ3S)

Damn straight. Old and New Testament. But he twisted the stories that he plagiarized ... and then called Jews and Christians liars because mo's stories differ from the originals.

In mo's version, Isaac was not the one to be sacrificed by Abraham, but Ishmael. The Jews just lied about this because they are liars. Mo also had someone else on the cross instead of Jesus.

islam is nothing but the formalization of desert arab culture (which is pretty friggin nasty) and then mo (or his acolytes) stole and twisted parts of the Old and New Testaments and injected himself into the Biblical in order to gain some instant legitimacy - he put himself into the Biblical bloodline and rewrote all the Biblical characters as muzzies. islam really shares nothing with Judaism or Christianity, other than mo having tried to steal from it.

The really funny part is that islam didn't even come along until almost 3000 years after Judaism and over 700 years after Christianity ... but if you ask most muslims they will tell you, honestly, that islam was around before Judaism or Christianity.

AFTER the election.

Because if this shit report came out before the election, Trump would say "Oh, so now I am going to declassify ALL the information, including that which conclusively proves that Mueller himself was part of the Anti-Trump Op as far back as 2015" in a national speech, and the Midterms would then sweep away the DemonRats as a viable political party for 50 years.

Instead, all Mueller can do is say "After the election I will release my bullshit" and hope that helps the DemonRats at least keep the midterms close.

Mueller is fucked and he knows it. Trump has known EVERYTHING since shortly after Mike Rogers visited him right after the election.

Even before Comey was fired and before Mueller was appointed, Trump has known the scam and has been running a counter op on the entire crew of traitorous bastiges.

They were set to start raising rates after Barky was gone. They had to. They threw everything into it to keep them down for Barky but once he was out they were going to have to finally give in. The insane interest rate play was just about protecting Barky.

As to earlier comment about the deficits, the national debt has gone up a pretty steady trillion every year since 2008 - regardless of what bullshit numbers they had claimed for the annual deficits. Sure, there were a couple of dips to 750 billion (yay!) but they were made up in the year after. Spending now is not much different than it was for all those years - and it is totally unsustainable.

393 Don't know the rules for signing FISA or the process that Rosenstein states. But I would compare it to SOX compliance.

Our CEO can sign the docs stating the financials are correct and are reported via investor conference call. Rules/Regs governing SOX compliance dictate that the CFO signs off saying prepared using GAAP, blah, blah, blah. And the proper controls were in place regarding transactions, blah, blah, blah.

But, I would think, that given even that, Rosenstein has at least a bare minimum duty to at least cursory review the application. Much like our CEO has a duty to cursory review the financials and say "WTF? Our sales are up 20% YoY and our profit is up 50%?"

I would think there's at least some measure of a small amount of accountability - even though the application went thru "the process." The entire reason Rosenstein has to sign off on it is to 1) vouch for the "process" and 2) it's reasonable. I don't think it's applicable for him to say 1) the process was followed, therefore 2) it must be correct. I would think his signature confirms both items 1 2 are on the up and up. If it's not, then there's no reason for anyone to sign off on the application. Just a bunch of boxes to be checked to ensure the "process" was followed.

397 393: There is a difference in the roles. The CEO is a businessman, and is in a position to have personal knowledge of the facts.
Rosenstein is a DOJ US attorney. His "client" is the FBI. His client provides him information, and swears its true. Rosenstein is entitled to rely upon his client's word.

398 393 Don't know the rules for signing FISA or the process that Rosenstein states. But I would compare it to SOX compliance.
++++++++

Dude. I get the SOX analogy, I really do. They have to "certify" accuracy of docs and are personally on the line if their underlings get it wrong. Check.

But you're sitting in your cushy FBI office in 2015, an election year, and underlings come to you with a FISA application on peeps associated with the Republican Presidential nominee and you don't, you know, look into a bit? Sorry, not buying the rupe-a-dupe argument.

Any sane person in the FBI, even while lit by the aura of the LightBringer's administration, knew (or should have known) that both the Clinton and Trump investigation were Cat 5 radioactive. If you were one of the poor bastards that put on either of these beats, you'd be an utter fool to not attend to your i's and t's in all things.

399 398: And that is exactly what Rosenstein is saying. He's saying that the fault lies not with him -- he was entitled to trust the representations of the FBI -- but with the FBI bad actors, who should not have provided him with false and misleading information.

400 Fact clearing. Weasel mentioned we would be doing crafts. Not So, we are having jackpot shoot outs with the lesser of all projectiles.

So the FBI provides bad info given to them from DNC ops that leads to Hillary with whom Mueller is in with?

Posted by: harleycowboy at October 17, 2018 07:45 PM (+9AX9)

403 399: Yes (or maybe), says Rosenstein. Nevertheless, as an attorney, I was entitled to rely upon it from my "client." Go punish the bad FBI actors. But you must leave me alone.
