Don Lemon to a Cuck Explaining that Leftwing Mobs Are In Fact Mobs: "Shut Up"

Matt Lewis, a moistened soybean, even attempts to offer Don Lemon a defense by claiming that people at a political rally shouting "Lock her up" are the same as mobs hunting people down at restaurants and at their own homes.

Spoiler alert: They're not the same thing at all. No one was or is hounding Hillary Clinton out of restaurants or threatening her at her home.

Intimidation tactics rely on surrounding someone and making it clear that they cannot escape the mob.

Someone saying something on TV isn't a "mob tactic."

Now, a group of people surrounding Hillary Clinton and following her down the street and/or trapping her in her car shouting "Lock her up" would be mob tactics -- but that didn't happen.

Even the soybean Stephen Miller understands that much:

You probably need your moral compass completely readjusted if you think a dumb chant at a ticketed rally is the equivalent to harassing people in restaurants and trying to break down the doors of the Supreme Court.

Yes the lock her up chant is ridiculous, but they chant it and then go home. It's wrestlemania. It's sport. It’s not antifa pulling people from cars for turning down a street or clawing at the doors of the SCOTUS building & the press knows it

I'm also noticing a strange trend of pundits who ignored Hillary's civility comments on CNN while condemning a dumb cathartic chant at Trump’s rally. If the gloves are off like she says, then the gloves are off.

Media, by not condemning Hillary, has no idea what she & they unleashed today. She justified assaults on Senators on their front lawns and a mass assassination attempt on a baseball field. You don't get to wag a finger at a rally crowd anymore while ignoring that.

And yet, even with this cuckish attempt at compromising with evil, Don Lemon still tells him "Shut up."

At some point, people are going to start understanding what many of us understood for a while: They mean to rule, and they don't much care what is left of America when they're done.

They will rule, and they will employ or bless any tactic, up to and including violence, to gain power.

More: Aaron Blake of the "Democracy Dies in Darkness" Post explains that leftist violence is all due to Trump's Lock Her Up chants.

Of course. We're making them threaten violence.

In a way, weren't we also responsible for a leftwing Democrat attempting to asssassinate seven Republican congressmen at a softball field, too?

Well, the good news is, if you're willing to surrender and comply with their demands, they will stop threatening you and attacking you.

Also see John Sexton, who observes that it's not likely a coincidence that all of the messaging from the media and top Democrats (I mean, the top Democrats who aren't in the media) is now nothing but dog-whistles to mob violence.

Oh: Another Sexton article notes that CNN did not seem to have any problem with their leftwing media-feeder organizations routinely calling Tea Party rallies "mobs."

Don't be too hard on Max Boot.

I mean, his sudden reversal on Abbas is totally justified considering that Abbas has condemned violence and dismantled Hamas.

37 "Lock her up" is a slogan advocating the launching an actual investigation of Hillary Clinton's myriad scandals with the expectation a fair investigation would result in her criminal conviction.
It isn't at all different from calls to impeach Trump.

Though neither is considered good form by the "traditional" standards of decorum they aren't out there either as there have been calls for impeachment/criminal investigations of every president or presidential nominee since Carter...
Of course outside of Trump few Republican office holders have made such a statement and many Dem leaders have. But then again Trump actually could *launch* such an investigation at any point if he wanted to...
Now NONE of this compares to hounding political figures one does not like, let alone assaulting people for their political views, let alone the attempted assassinations of right leaning political figures that has now become common on the left - Trump/Scalise/Paul/and the candidate for CA39 (IIRC) have all been targeted by assassination attempts.

There were a couple of similiar attempts against Clinton back in the 90s but...the Republican party roundly condemned those. Where are the Dems condemning any of this crap right now?

Posted by: 18-1 at October 10, 2018 04:20 PM (+DkQm)

38 Miller is funny and smart, but has blind spots or gaps.

If he thinks the historic crime wave committed by the Clinton cabal at State, with all the associated corruption of the DOJ/FBI, is not an unprecedented assault of rule of law in the US, he lacks experience or historical knowledge.

"Lock her up" is not a dumb chant. It is, if anything, well-founded mockery of the degraded US civic culture and institutions, that have thus far allowed massive, consequential (and clumsy, obvious) criminality at the highest levels go unpunished.

Leaving aside the other jaw-dropping mega-scandals like the IRS targeting and the whole Keystone Coup involving the IC and FBI/DOJ/WH, there is no greater or more important scandal in US history.

41 What a bunch of assholes. It is said often, but worth repeating. They are indeed - in their own tortured, poisoned minds - responding in kind.
Because our speech is violence and you can (in fact, you must) respond to violence with violence.

It doesn't make them right of course, but it does help explain it. As long as people believe that speech can be conflated with violence, they will feel justified in violent responses to speech. The distinction between speech and violence *must* be resurrected or this will not stop until a civil war ends it.

While the "deplorables" part was insulting, it's the "irredeemable" that is ominous. They don't just want to rule, they want to destroy those who do not agree.

Look at what they did to Roseann Barr, what they started doing to Kavanaugh. It's not just about getting someone fired anymore - it's about destroying their life, destroying their future job prospects *and* tainting or destroying all they've accomplished.

it is a lot different ... there is a ton of evidence against Hillary, the FBI has made a mockery of the justice system.

The only evidence against Trump was concocted by the same corrupt FBI/DNC and their propaganda media. But yeah, at least calls to impeach are not direct calls for violence, just calls for the commie insiders to overrule the election.

Posted by: illiniwek at October 10, 2018 04:26 PM (Cus5s)

But it's the same in that people are certainly allowed to call for any impeachment they want, with or without evidence (especially since evidence has little to do with impeachments, anyway).

There is a difference, however, in that their calls for impeachment are, as you point out, clearly political while the calls to "Lock her up" were legal.

Now, calls to impeach Barky - which were only heard in the most distant reaches of the conservative movement, sadly, were legal more than political. It's a shame that none of the GOP on the Hill ever had the balls to broach that issue, considering that Barky was breaking laws and working against the US in new ways every other week.

No, their reaction is to try to censor the very word and silence it.

and there is the money to Iran, largest state sponsor of terror ... wtf? Of course this is probably the work of commie Jarrett, but Barry being high and giving her the keys is no excuse.

169 RCP still has their data from 2016 up so you can go to their site to see it...

IN 2016 RCP predicted that Hillary would win the EC 272 to 266.
They predicted the Senate would go 51-49
They predicted the Republicans would maintain a ~30 seat majority in the House
So in each case they were somewhat tilted to the Dems.

If you "unskew" their 2018 results to accord with their 2016 results you'd get something like

Senate 54-46House: Reps at +10 or so...
I think RCP is most useful though in measuring trends since trends are easier to identify then where races are...and they show the Republicans making significant gains as of the start of October - almost certainly the BK effect...

Not to condemn this and take the higher ground. Not to work to calm them down until at least after the election.

Silence the word all they want. On the other prong, you've got a-holes like Chinless Holder telling people to physically kick people. Silver wasn't a poll, it was a model run using polls as an input. His results showed Hillary winning 70% of the time. He also emphasized that she was weak in the Upper Midwest, that if Pennsylvania went then likely Wisconsin and Ohio would go as well, and that the polls were much more unreliable that election, which is why he tried to incorporate a greater chance of a large shift one way or the other.

That's why it's called a metaphor instead of a description.

Racists use a language that other racists will recognize but normals won't hear at all, the way humans don't hear the dog whistle.

Now, the fact that only rabid leftists on the hunt for manufactured racism can hear the dog whistles does weaken the metaphor.

Yea, I think many grey-hairs in the GOP are currently in the midst of an awakening. You mean, our base really does like it when we fight and win? Huh. Who would have thought?

Really interesting to watch the polls and the increasing gnashing of teeth of the public pollsters (I'm looking at you, Nate) that are now starting to hedge on the confidence of their House blue wave predictions. If current state holds or improves, looks like GOP is golden on the Senate. I'm supposed to say that "it's a tough year" for the House GOP, but I won't. I maintain that we should subtract 2-8% from most public polling. 2016 laid waste to that profession. 317 The way the (ironically named) Domestic Violence laws in most of this country work is this.

If she so much as breaks a nail while pummeling her husband with a frying pan, she can point to the broken nail and say that he did this to her. The husband will then will be removed from the house in handcuffs, locked up, charged with domestic battery, even if he never lifted a finger to defend himself.

As they drag him away he can say "Wait a second, look at the bruises and cuts all over my arms, back and head. Can't you see I wasn't the aggressor here?" They'll say "You should have thought about that before you broke her nail." and unceremoniously throw him in a cage. In the subsequent divorce he'll have to pay for her lawyer too.

(The time he really should have thought about it was before he married the crazy bitch.)

In the aftermath, she will go on to write a book about how she's a 'survivor' of domestic violence (meaning all the times he wouldn't listen to her crazy BS), and be praised as a 'real hero' on The View, while he will have his second amendment rights revoked and have to pay 50% of his income in alimony while she lives in the house he bought with Marco the pool boy.

It's America in microcosm.

The loyal opposition model is one that works where the citizens embrace the Constitutional Republic model. We reached a point in emperor o'barky's reign where a significant percentage of the public actively rejected this model for the BAMN model. Hillzabeast offered us the Enhanced BAMN model which was narrowly rejected for a test run of the MAGA model. I'm hoping that the DC RINO Establishment sees that their future under even the most benevolent BAMN regime will not be tea and crumpets as usual and are starting to fight back!

350 The "lock her up" chant is not ridiculous.

The chant is an acknowledgement that Hillary Clinton is a crook who belongs in prison.

Clinton set up a private, insecure, unauthorized email server while SOS, and knowingly transmitted thousands of documents over that insecure server, many of which were classified and some of which were top secret. Every damn one of Hillary Clinton's State Department emails were copied to the Chinese government. Every hacker on the planet had access to Hillary's State Department emails, and many read them.

Clinton committed multiple felonies with that illegal email set-up, a fact that is understood by millions of Americans, even if Jim Comey can't wrap his tiny brain around it.

Furthermore, Hillary and her husband Bill have for years now been running a money-laundering operation masquerading as a "charitable foundation." Hillary's own close aide, John Podesta, admitted in his own compromised emails that everybody in Hillary's organization knows that Chelsea Clinton has been using the "charity's" funds for years to fund her extravagant lifestyle, including paying for her lavish wedding. And Bill and Hill no doubt routinely dip into those "charitable" funds to buy plenty of swag for themselves. All Americans know this criminal behavior is going on, but nobody does anything about it.

So no, the "lock her up" chant is not ridiculous.

But what is ridiculous is that Hillary Clinton has not yet been locked up for her many, and obvious, crimes.

No THEY won't. They want us gone. Preferably dead. But,gone ---think gulag--for sure.

The cuck Senate GOPe finally got a snoot full. The GOPe was all too willingto surrender but even being 'reasonable ' did not quiet the Senate Dem mob. And being reasonable is sure as hell is not going to stop the street mobs that Hillary and Holder et al are inciting.

It is us. Or them.

The mob does not seem particularly interested in the vote thingy these days.

Blackmail.

Note that it was McCain who sent the pee-pee dossier to the FBI - that was a two way street. He was their informant after the Keating 5 scandal and got inside information on other Repubs from his FBI handlers. And while Obama pretty much shit-midased everything he tried to support, Trump does seem to be a positive in every place he goes to endorse and drum up.

The worst damage from the last hurricane in NC, and the Houston hurricane was the almost solid week of rain they both suffered. Glad this hurricane is moving fast. Most places can handle 3-6 inches of rain. The 12-36 inches of rain causes the horrendous floods.

The Leftie Seattle Times has ignored any hard data on this race.

Dino Rossi is a good man. When I lived in the district, we were part of the same Parish. Now I am in the 9th, Adam Smith, Communist - WA is my disaster.
Seriously, this is very good news for us all. One race does not make the election, but where this one went, IMO, was an indicator of the entire election cycle. If there was a change. the blue wave would have hit here. Instead, it looks like it will miss.

533 " 430
They are going to try mob violence on the wrong people and there will be injuries "

The real risk isn't just injuries to lefty numbskulls occurring as part of the initial incident.

We've had several cases where antifa has jumped random innocent people, filmed it, and posted the video to gloat. If they do this to someone people empathize with and they turn out to die from something stupid like hitting their head on a curb, even, then all hell could break loose.

We have had a full decade plus of screaming leftists trying to paint people as racists and sexists while they break any law they think they can get away with left and right. People are tired of this shit.

Breaking: Rod Rosenstein Refuses to Turn Over Subpoenaed Memos -Backs Out of Thursday's Congressional Hearing

thegatewaypundit.com

Now what?
Posted by: Under Fire at October 10, 2018 05:22 PM (r9UYA)

Seriously?

The USCongress needs to actually build a jail or holding facility to enforce their INDEPENDENT right to toss someone into jail for Contempt of Court. Authorize the Senate and House Sergeant at Arms to actively seize someone found in Contempt of Congress and imprison them until they comply.

Make Contempt of a Contemptible Congress a REAL THREAT. Congress needs to find its Independence and its Balls.

535 60 When you're taking flak, you are right over the target. The Mob statements about the Left from the Right have been very effective. Now, they naturally need to redefine the word Mob, if not get it out of use entirely.
This much focus on this word tells me they are scared of it.

538 There is a scene in The Patriot where Mel Gibson advises his young sons to target the officers first.

If the burning times come, and I certainly hope they never do, I
think that is probably a decent strategy. The money men and the
organizers first.

During the Cold War we were trained to identify and shoot at Russian command vehicles first as they came through the Fulda Gap. It's common sense tactics.

* I wasn't in the Fulda Gap. I was in the Meiningen Gap w/ 3ID.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Me too! Honestly I worry about him EVERYWHERE...
Rallies may actually be amongst the most secure.
Imo happenings of late have exposed very serious security flaws in and around the government infrastructure! It was absolutely appalling to see the invasions of protesters at the hearings, Senate building, and Supreme Court. WHY is that allowed?
If I were a Congress member I'd be screaming bloody murder over this! Haven't heard a peep so far.
542 Oh: Another Sexton article notes that CNN did not seem to have any problem with their leftwing media-feeder organizations routinely calling Tea Party rallies "mobs."
---
CNN also did not have a problem with a different one of their staff homosexuals, Anderson Cooper, refer to Tea Partiers by the sexual term "Tea Baggers" in 2008. He and his CNN cronies smirked and repeated the term again and again. Like
little kids. "Pee pee. Pee pee."
The Tea Party's ultimate failure to move DC paved
the way for Trump. The contempt of these television non-entities who dismissed the popular
movement as testicle-suckers helped bring Trump
victory.
544 When Obama was running against McCain, I had a McCain bumper sticker on my car. Then I went out on a case, and when I came back out to my car I was surrounded by a mob. (of course, in Florida). Daytona to be exact.
I talked my way out of it. Since that time? I've never placed any type of sign, bumper sticker or any scintilla of evidence of my political affiliation. I don't want to get beat up or have my car demolished by white mobs who are assaulting white drivers, yelling at us "white fookers".
Congrats, Dems. There are no words.
