The Morning Rant

talking ape.jpg
"Christine Blasey Ford is the Eric Clanton of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. You morons remember Clanton, don't you? He was the antifa pussy who clubbed a Trump supporter with a bike lock, and I say pussy because just look at the video: He's hanging in the back of the crowd, then suddenly bursts out in front, hits the guy when he isn't looking, and disappears back into the crowd. Clanton obviously didn't expect any consequences for his cowardly attack, but hadn't counted on being tracked down and identified by 4chan. And it's the same with Ford. She expected to just toss in a stink bomb and then disappear back into anonymity as just another #MeToo victim. And the Democrats expected the GOP to just flop like the Cleveland Browns late in the season and that would be that. Oh,and completely scrubbing her internet presence made her bad faith even more obvious. That's like your wife coming home and you suddenly have a completely blank browser history. That's not innocent housekeeping, that's a tell."

Oh Look, Here Comes Another New Rule:

kavanaugh - new rules.jpg
What Ms. Shaw doesn't say is that there is a hidden clause to this rule wherein it is specified that allegations against Republicans are always credible, but allegations against Democrats never are.

Here, at last, is documentary evidence of Brett Kavanaugh's lecherously predatory behavior.

I met with the DOJ concerning the declassification of various UNREDACTED documents. They agreed to release them but stated that so doing may have a perceived negative impact on the Russia probe. Also, key Allies' called to ask not to release. Therefore, the Inspector General.....

....has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis. I believe he will move quickly on this (and hopefully other things which he is looking at). In the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary. Speed is very important to me - and everyone!

Trump beat 16 GOP candidates and the dirty tricks DNC/MSM/Clinton machine to win the Presidency AND WON THE WHITE WOMAN VOTE, while having numerous woman claiming he sexually assaulted them and with him on tape saying that you could grab a woman by her vag among other things...

...BY BEING ON OFFENSE AND HAVING NO FUCKS TO GIVE!!!

And yet the GOP is getting outmaneuvered by an 85 year old senile cunt who's in the pocket of the ChiComs.

15 I am become willow, destroyer of threads:

Here is a good quandary.

I have been waiting for >4 months for notification of a job in the Federal gubmint. There are many good things about it. But they have been dicking me around for a long time. I even got two rejection letters along the way, which they say was a mistake.

So out of the blue, I get called by a former CEO to come work for him again. Great title, little bit of a bump in pay, closer to the house, lots of good things about it. I think about that for a weekend, then I decide, yes, I will do that.

The Feds call the next day, finally they got their crap together.

So I have 2 offers on the plate now. One is a job I will enjoy, but they way tech churn is, has some uncertainty. The other is just a job, but is about as secure as possible - I could easily retire there, and get a pension.

Not sure what God is telling me here.

Embarrassment of riches.

Seriously, though, you could probably advance in the private sector, but you likely never have to worry about being laid off, fired, or even held accountable beyond "didn't set the building on fire again" in the government job, plus pension and benefits when you stop showing up and no one notices.

If I was only looking at ten or so years of work I'd jump on the government one. Get vested and get gone.

105 "What makes Cory Booker's groping incident different than the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh"

TL;DR: He's on our side.

This is all very inside DC. Kavanaugh is a DC insider whose career includes working on the Ken Starr team investigating...Bill Clinton.

Ford's team, the Demand Justice group, are a who's who of the Clinton crowd. Brian Fallon (Hillary's campaign spokesman) runs it, Paige Herwig works for it while also working for Feinstein (she's ALL connected: https://tinyurl.com/ycoy9pw4 ), and Ford is being coach by the same woman who coached Anita Hill and ran Bill's "war room." I'm sure there are other Clinton cronies who have a hand in this.

This is Hillary vs. Trump; Ford's feelz are the excuse to fill the headlines, to distract us normies from the underlying DC powerplay.

the deadline passed. I presume Edsel did not submit her prepared
testimony and does not intend to be at the Monday hearing because YOU
KNOW the other side would have been crowing had Grassley given in to her
outrageous demands.

Grassley cannot hold a vote before Monday
because he has to give the minority five days notice for any new
committee meeting. He gains nothing by announce today that the Ford will
not be at the hearing on Monday. All that will do is give the Sunday
shows a sound bite to play over and over again. Everyone who might have
been a problem vote has already announced they will be a yes and that
the vote should happen Monday if Ford chooses to not attend the hearing.

We are good and I expect Kav will be voted favorably out of committee on Monday.

167 The democrats are not hypocrites. A hypocrite is someone who doesn't practice what they preach. Democrats are amoral. The basic moral premise that rules should apply equally is a sucker's assumption to democrats. Trying to get democrats to feel shame or guilt for their behavior is like trying to get a psychopath to feel guilty. They do not care if Kavanaugh is completely innocent of the charges. They would still destroy him and wear his scalp proudly on their belts if it keeps him off the SC.

186 From last thread:

"I had diverticulitis that resisted antibiotics. Finally found one that knocked it down enough so they could operate safely. Had that surgery in late January '18. I have never felt better, and so glad I did it.

Many people just treat their diverticulitis episodes with antibiotics on a wait-and-see basis. But don't wait until the diverticulitis gets so bad that it ruptures. Surgery for that is emergency and includes a large incision (as opposed to arthroscopic,) a colostomy bag for a few months, then another surgery to stitch you back together."

I just went through that in early August. I ended up in the hospital for a week, had emergency surgery, and am being scheduled to have the resectioning done prior to Thanksgiving. More or less knocked me out for better part of a month.

FWIW, from my point of view, better to bite the bullet, see a doc and have the tests to determine if this surgery is needed and if so, have it done in one fell swoop. Best of luck.

I suspect that Kavanaugh is also more wanted by the Chamber of Commerce GOP Establishment and the Uniparty types (the DC circuit's importance to them and their lobbyist cronies is its admin law focus). After all, no one has said he had a crooked bowtie, said the wrong things at parties, etc. Kavanaugh was simply the safe Swamp dwelling pick at this time.

If by some reason Kavanaugh goes down, it will infuriate the GOP voters at the Dems outweighing betrayals such as border wall funding and shameless spending bills currently going on. It won't really energize the Dems and Trump gets to pick who he wants. Still plenty of time before a new Congress to seat a Scotus judge especially by an infuriated majority.

Still think odds are that Kavanaugh gets approved.

Trump will make a decision after getting more input from the IG. I'm assuming a lot happening behind the scenes that we don't know. If Trump changes his mind, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it was the correct decision at this time.

Try this on for size:

Declassification Clause requires the various heads of their agencies to review the material to be declassified. In this case...Coats, Rosenstein (subbing in for Sessions) and Wray.

Coats probably has no problem with it despite that letter that came out from the Gang of 8 suggesting he was working with the dems. Wray is on the fence. Rosenstein definitely doesn't want to un-redact anything. He pressures Wray to stand with him on that.

According to the Declassification Order the IG should not even be involved. Not sure why Trump tweeted that. Maybe he is ignorant of the process...whatever.

Rosenstein tells Trump..."I'm not going to do it." Wray goes along with Rosenstein. Trump moves to fire Rosenstein. Ooops...The Vacancy Reform Act does not address replacing for "firing." The DOJ and just about every liberal special interest group files suit and ultimately an injunction on the firing...not just the replacement. They get a friendly judge to rubberstamp. They cite Alberto Gonzales' memo stating that President doesn't control DOJ succession. How does that sound?

I'm just clarifying what I think Trump meant by
having the IG review. He's obviously been told by his advisers that the
release of these documents may have more negative effects than
positive. Trump will make a decision after getting more input from the
IG. I'm assuming a lot happening behind the scenes that we don't know.
If Trump changes his mind, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and
assume it was the correct decision at this time.

Trump fights on principle and is competitive but he is also pretty strategic. A tactical defeat can lead to a strategic victory and the focus is a more MAGA Congress. Not saying that he WANTS Kavanaugh to be rejected but he is prepared to snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. That is what the Dems are terrified about-tails he wins, heads, they lose.

It is so unlike GOPe that they really cannot comprehend it. Same phenomenon as Maggie Thatcher--always fight for what you believe whether or not you win at the moment. Trump has far more Thatcher in him than Reagan.

I'm not sure this is so. He's fairly typecast at this point; he's not getting roles that permit anything beyond "generic action hero" (e.g., Transporter).

I think there's enough to his performances in Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch to suggest that he might be able to do more.

*Not that I fault him. If someone wanted to pay me reasonably well to be in bad action movies, I'd probably find time to be available too.

Declassification Clause requires the various
heads of their agencies to review the material to be declassified. In
this case...Coats, Rosenstein (subbing in for Sessions) and Wray.

Coats probably has no problem with it despite that letter that came
out from the Gang of 8 suggesting he was working with the dems. Wray is
on the fence. Rosenstein definitely doesn't want to un-redact
anything. He pressures Wray to stand with him on that.

According to the Declassification Order the IG should not even be
involved. Not sure why Trump tweeted that. Maybe he is ignorant of the
process...whatever.

Rosenstein tells Trump..."I'm not going to do it." Wray goes along
with Rosenstein. Trump moves to fire Rosenstein. Ooops...The Vacancy
Reform Act does not address replacing for "firing." The DOJ and just
about every liberal special interest group files suit and ultimately an

They may have the power to review and even advise, they do not have the power to withhold and Alberto Gonzales is not in charge. If a friendly judge tries to rubberstamp anything, SCOTUS overrules him with the deciding vote cast by newly seated Justice Kavanaugh.

However I don't think his statement requires a comma. Because "leftist" is used as an adjective to describe the asswipe. So "wrong leftist asswipe" is like saying "wrong person." Its just identifying the person as a leftist asswipe.

387 You lob a turd in the confirmation punchbowl signed "anonymous" and expect to just walk away.

That Feinstein, Spartacus, Kamala Harris and Schumer never learned is that there is no "clean" end on a turd. Ms. Ford threw it--they picked it up. The stink sticks--and should stick--mostly to them.

If the Dems had not treated this as a last minute "gotcha" bomb when they got the letter in July, there was plenty of time to treat the allegation in the regular order. The FBI could have investigated it, the Senators could have questioned Kavanaugh about it, either in open hearings or in private meetings. Ms. Ford's anonymity could have been preserved. Although since she apparently leaked the info to the Washington Post herself, I wonder how serious that request was.

I don't question Ms. Ford's good faith. If you are dealing with "recovered memory" you may well actually believe what you "remember". I'm a little more dubious about the length of time, the lack of detail etc. But I will concede, at least for purposes of argument, that she truly believes what she claims. But it is for the Senate to decide whether to believe her, or believe Judge Kavanaugh's stout denial that the event never happened.

"Ahem!"- - The Religion of Peace's Global Caliphate Project Posted by: J.J. Sefton

USA/China/Russia ... superpowers by rank?

I still view the Muslim Caliphate as a wet dream of radical Islam, and those countries are mostly client states of Russia or USA, or China. Muslim Brotherhood infiltrated America via Obama openly, but were here before that (Brennan).

We maybe screwed up going from the Shah to Khomeini, and Iran seemed to become a Russia friend (and Syria, ???). Now Turkey is moving toward the Caliphate, but we have a chance of moving Iran toward US, if we can help the Green Party with regime change. (Obama did the opposite)

imo China is #1 threat to US as superpower, Russia much less, maybe useful for detente. The caliphate is an issue because they have oil, and the globalists are importing "radical" Muslims to wreck the West in Europe first (Libya regime change by Soros/Hillary, Merkel endorsed), but also here. (fuzzy Muzzie wasn't very fuzzy, was he?)

globalists long ago decided their future (profits) was China, and they took our easy money policy and invested US (mutual funds, free trade policy) in China (free pollution free slaves), built THEIR future, not America's.

just recapping from earlier ... Americanism and (national/state/individual) sovereignty ftw, and to save "The West". This whole globalist funded rage thing by the left, is fighting against the constitution and Americanism. They needed to flip SCOTUS to overthrow US.

yep, you nailed it

Nine babies -- five girls, four boys -- were in the house at the time. Police say some other parents were there as well. It wasn't clear whether the facility was licensed or why it had so many newborns there at the time of the stabbing; state records indicate there was a registered business at the location.

An official briefed on the investigation tells News 4 it was a maternity center. Mothers would go there with their newborns and workers would help take care of the babies. It's also a place where foreigners could have their babies here and those children would become American citizens.

If they tell Ford to pound sand, then it becomes, "The GOP bowed to pressure from Trump and now a victim of sexual abuse will not get to tell her story."

testimony and does not intend to be at the Monday hearing because YOU

581 So far, a bit shockingly, the GOP has handled this about right.

About the only thing I'd change - when the bumbling Dems, yet again, absurdly raised the ante again the last few days by saying the liar nutcase needed "assurances of her safety" to testify, there should have been a nuclear response.

"The implication by Dr Ford's lawyers that she might have to fear for her safety in appearing to defend what appear to be outrageous slanderous allegations shows the depths to which the press, and much of the Democrat Party's base, has sunk.

There of course isn't the slightest chance of her being in any danger from testifying.

Meanwhile, in the past 2 years, the Democrats and their allies in the press and elsewhere have created or countenanced an atmosphere of unhinged hatred in which some of their unstable supporters have attempted to massacre Republican congressmen, have attacked US senators at their homes, have violently attacked supporters of President Trump during his election campaign, and continue to menace and attack Republican figures at various levels across the country.

It's long past time for our Democrat colleagues to take responsibility for the violence they have helped create, and to stop trying to distract and cover for themselves with ridiculous claims about non-existent threats to their bit players and actors."

And, as already foretold, the goal posts shall move yet again as either an additional accuser and/or witness is slow-rolled announced and Dems will Rinse.Wash.Repeat this same scenario and demand a hearing for that person, and Grassley won't say no because he's now set a precedent. Totally predictable.

605 484 So you don't think they can draw out the legal
process for a little over 40 days? And, you are assuming that the SC
will even hear the case? I have no idea what the opinions of the
Justices are on Kavanaugh. All you need is a bit of personal rivalry
(which is rampant in the legal field) and the case is shot down.

Posted by: Orson at September 21, 2018 12:01 PM (IsmUY)

If by 40 days you mean until after the election, what does the election have to do with it? Congress will stay as it is until January 3 and even then they don't have any say in this.

The impeachment push starts the very minute after the mid-terms if the democrats win the House. They won't wait for the next term to begin. Obstruction unprecedented on the very fabric of Congress such that nothing gets accomplished. In fact, I'd bet the farm that the basis of the impeachment to be Obstruction of Law by the White House using the very efforts to fire Rosenstein as a centermark of the case...along with the previous firing of Comey.

You guys have to get it out of your head that the laws are actually being applied. Whenever they need a stall, a change in law, and injunction on an Executive Order, they just run to the Courts. Hello...Hawaiian Judge. Whenever we find someone that needs to be prosecuted, the DOJ refuses to pursue. I keep hearing that the President has complete control over the Executive branch of government...except he doesn't. It's been hijacked. The DOJ and the Courts have become the gatekeeper and they protect each other from losing that found power.

Brennan obviously lies under oath to the committee. Statute of limitations runs out because the DOJ doesn't prosecute. The Committees of Congress can only recommend to the DOJ (US Attorney) to indict. THey are the ultimate decision maker. Trumps Travel ban...shot down how many times by the Courts. Trumps immigration reforms shot down how many times by the Courts? Trumps Directive to un-redact the FISA application. Have you seen it yet? Removing the redactions takes the push of a single button. Two sets of books on the Carter Page FISA investigation basis...who prosecutes the offenders? Well the offenders do...so no one.

An official briefed on the investigation tells News 4 it was a maternity center. Mothers would go there with their newborns and workers would help take care of the babies. It's also a place where foreigners could have their babies here and those children would become American citizens.

So, sounds like a place where illegals can get coached on how to utilize their anchor babies.

Her problem is that the GOP didn't fold (yet), the nominee and his family are still in it (for the moment) and the accuser looks dumber and dumber by the hour.

Ford contacted the WashPost and took a meeting with her local Congresswoman Eeshoo(?) in July.

At some point she started working with Deman Justice, which is a Soros-fundy, Clinton crony staffed organization created specifically to thwart Trump's SCOTUS nominations.

Note that Paige Hewzig, who has a leadership role in Demand Justice, previously worked for Diane Feinstein related to Judiciary Committee matter. Herwig has also worked for Hillary, Obama, and Holder in the past (https://tinyurl.com/ycoy9pw4).

ChiFi didn't just randomly receive Ford's letter. She coordinated with Demand Justice via her former aide Herwig, and she purposely withheld it until the last possible moment (in case they could have scuttled Kavanaugh through some other means). This was all choreographed; it's DC insider shenanigans at it's swampiest.

Let me put it this way. When girls fantasize about being Cinderella, they are not secretly yearning to wear rags, sweep the hearth, and slop the hogs. It's all about the gorgeous dress, the glittering ball, and the prince who falls hopelessly in love with them and makes them a princess.

669 Cillizard isn't asking "What makes Cory Booker's groping incident different than the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh"

He's stating it. In other words, "It's Different When We Do It(tm)".

670 told ya

Next they will keep Kavanaugh out of the room.

672 She's not going to testify.

This is another delaying tactic.

673 Nood

674 And they're still negotiating??

Posted by: Soona at September 21, 2018 12:41 PM (Fs5vw)

The diseased Commie scrunt Ford and her bull-dyke lawyer can throw offers against the wall until Hell freezes over, but that's not "negotiating". Takes two parties to tango, and the deadline set by Grassley has passed.
CNN has a vested interest in obfuscating the issue.

Posted by: Alberta Oil Peon at September 21, 2018 12:57 PM (iwUO9)

675 Grassley needs to vote this out of committee. F all this boolshit. If he calls a vote, do they need a quorum of committee members? I keep thinking of all those Wisconsin reps running across the state line and hiding at a Holiday Inn Express to avoid having to vote on Right to Work or whatever it was. Someone needs to put a tracking device on Maize Hirono. Oh, and while they're at, a ball-gag would be nice too.

Posted by: Brave Sir Robin at September 21, 2018 01:00 PM (ty7RM)

676 So Grassley caved. Why don't they I dump Kavanaugh and nomonate Cruz in his place? It seems like it's the only way for Ted to stay in Washington.

Posted by: Mister Herbert at September 21, 2018 01:07 PM (0HXB0)

677 Why do they keep saying 'credible'?

Posted by: Karen at September 21, 2018 01:34 PM (lJVeY)

678 People are reporting Grassley caved and the circus starts up again next Friday.

If this is so, it's beyond hideous.

Grassley has not released any statement to that effect and the hearing is still on Monday's schedule.

Posted by: redbanzai the Southerner at September 21, 2018 01:43 PM (FTXAT)

679 Now maybe Grassley will let her testify on Wednesday instead of Monday. Ms. Ford is yanking Grassley and the Committee's crank. If you look at her old high school yearbook and hear her various admissions that in high school and college she had problems with alcohol and was promiscuous, she's had some real experience in yanking folks cranks.
