It's like they think this is high school or college.
I had a ballot box stuffed by a bunch of Yale college students.
It gave me an insight into the liberal progressive mind that I have never forgot.
It's also the day I became a conservative (back then known as Republicans)
I have never looked back and never lost by betting that Democrats will lie, cheat and assault people to get their way.
Oh some ppl who call themselves Republicans will do the same but the grass roots and most of the top have some level of moral scruples.
The Democrats have NONE. That they promote policies that enslave poor ppl and demand the right to murder children is all that has to be said.
Whatever needs to be done at the time that is to benefit the Party or the member that is morally repugnant normally will be ignored or excused. They will find some way to frame it in their mind so they feel no guilt. (if Democrats even feel guilt)
For years we've been screaming at the GOP to wise up and grow a set and maybe, just maybe with Trump they're seeing that:
A. it's true the Democrats do hate you even when they're laughing and smiling.
B. They will do anything to gain/hold power.
C. They are anti american at their core. They hate America and it's people and wish to destroy it. Then make it over in the image they think will work. (with no proof it will and plenty that it won't)
D. That they cannot be trusted and cannot be allowed to manipulate the Government.

So the question is: What's going to happen to tomorrow scheduled meeting. If they want to schedule a vote for latter next week, they have to schedule it this week.
Could be fireworks tomorrow if they go ahead with scheduled meeting.

And I think it's clear to everyone, including Grassley, that she is going to make any excuse she can to avoid being questioned face to face. Credit Grassley with thinking about the long game here; the Dems are pushing this to try to discredit Kavanaugh long term, but Grassley is doing everything he can right here and right now to discredit their attempt. And he's doing a good job of it so far.

And a delay only helps make this a bigger campaign issue--early voting starts when? Oh, in a few weeks, lol.
Trump knew that-- and he saw a perfect chance to kill off the sexual improprieties smear forever.
And just as early voting ends, there's going to be a transportation bill or a Korea peace treaty.

True. But they were hoping on the hearings. The whole misquote about contraception be abortion (when Kavanaugh was reading from the plaintiff's brief), Booker's Spartacus moment, the secret emails Kavanaugh was supposedly to have stolen/possessed, and who can forget the Handmaidens.
When that didn't work, and DiFi's opponent in the fall, she had to release it because if word got out some of the dems knew she had this and it leaked (remember, the Cali rep gave it to her) she would have been toast. Releasing it, shit show and all, she has no worse than the same chance she had before releasing it of being elected.
She burnt the bridge with the Vichy Republicans in the Seante though. And some of the Non-Vichy.

The two parties had a gentleman's agreement of sorts. Let the courts do the heavy lifting so the politicians don't have to make controversial votes, just keep the courts relatively balanced so it's all kinda fair.
The Dems fvcked with the balance of power and the Pubs are pissed.
