They're too ignorant to know how much of this is coloring their view of what they think paganism is. Or was. But it's not, and never was. So as I said, let's not go back there again. (1) Most people are effectively judgment-proof, meaning they don't have enough assets to make suing them make any financial sense.
(2) Suing means being the plaintiff and assuming the burden of proof. How do you prove, even by a preponderance of the evidence, that you didn't do something 30 years ago? It'd just be a swearing match, and there's really no telling how that comes out before a jury.
Suing this lady would be like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.

I rate her story as NOT credible.
I have had a few cases where i defended companies against plaintiffs (women) who it turns out had histrionic personality disorders. The "tell" for me is the precise details and minute descriptions of non-relevant information (i.e. a one piece bathing suit; what song was playing) and the lack of detail on the key issues (the year, place, who was there, etc.).
I had one case where discovery revealed the woman had lied to her husband about being pregnant with twins. She faked the whole thing and went up through the baby shower and then claimed she miscarried. Cray cray.

A building in Thermopolis, Wyoming has reverse swastikas running along the top of the building. HIS denial is credible: it is internally consistent (he never did this with anyone in high school or ever), consistent with his character ( a sterling reputation,; friends going back to high school were also interviewed), is corroborated by the other alleged witness (it is "nuts" and "never happened"), and he will undoubtedly offer more details to rebut her claim once Blasey's story is locked down under oath.

ms mouse has some distant relatives in the Charlotte area (Matthew, IIRC) and was chatting w/some over the weekend. Said rainy, but no problems. So this AM we're watching the alphabet networks, she's reading some online newz, and an official twatwaffle is blabbering on about eastern NC being "impassable" and worse.
So, she picks up her phone and calls - said relative is on their way to visit/help out another extended family member, and they're on I 95, which we just watched as being impassable. Pics were sent, and the road is clear, open, sunny, and has some traffic.
So the issue is - has weather reporting succumbed fully to the Gell Mann amnesia effect? Short of calling family/friends/whoever in a given area, how can one reasonably comprehend what's happening?

Many have vied for the coveted mantle of "Successful Third Party". None have ever truly had the combination of numbers, funding, coherence, or urgency necessary to make a go of it.
I think if organized well and executed properly, we here could be the ones to ignite a new political platform. Not a winner right out of the gate, but the nucleus of a truly Reformative and Restorative alternative to the entrenched interest of the current "conservative" "party". One race at a time, one win at a time.
Not the polite "excuse me, sir" of the Tea Party. Not the grating, incoherent blather of the "free weed, man" Libertarians. Not the "I'm kinda rich and I read some Hayek or Rothbard that one time" of Ross Perot.

If this is true, it explains a lot. Also, those type of therapists are really good at coaxing the patient along. I think the practice is even held in disrepute in the profession. I would never trust that type of therapist.

That, and she claims to have PTSD from the alleged assault. And as any psychologist or psychiatrist will tell you, the research shows that people who experience PTSD often have altered memories of the event, that is, they remember things that did not actually happen.
It's entirely possible that this woman was sexually assaulted by somebody when she was a teen, and that caused psychological trauma, and over the decades since then her hatred of the Kavanaugh family (maybe connected to K's mother having been the judge in the foreclosure case of Ford's parents' home), or maybe just her hatred of K himself (due to his conservative rulings) may have caused her to subconsciously replace her actual assaulter's face with K's face in her memory.
That would explain how she could pass a polygraph (assuming that she did). Polygraphs only detect if the subject believes they are being deceptive. If Ford really believes K assaulted her (because she has created that memory over the years), then she could easily pass the poly.
