The Morning Rant: J.V. Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

Yeah...I got nothing. I'm all ranted out by the disgusting double standard and the incredible hyper-sensitivity of the elites and the the people who really should know better. WHO IS KAREN MONAHAN ? (ask JJ Sefton)

If Kavanaugh isn't confirmed I think we are lost. Governance-by-riot will be firmly in place, and I see no way out of it. The flashes of backbone that we are seeing in the Republican leadership is gratifying, but until it is confirmed by a timely vote it will just be more of their typical obfuscation in service of the corporatist wing of the party. What makes me sick is that these verysame Republicans take off the gloves when they are in tough primary races, but can't seem to retain that killer instinct when it matters.

And another thing...why aren't Republican operatives asking Feinstein to recuse herself from the confirmation process because they have credible evidence that the letter was actually a plant by the Chinese spy who was until lately in her employ? Yeah...it's called tit-for-tat. And the Republicans need to be doing more of it.

99 The high school yearbooks covering the years that Christine M. Blasey-Ford attended Holton Arms were suddenly scrubbed from the web, but nothing ever really disappears from the web. The sordid tales of drunkenness and promiscuity portrayed in the yearbooks suggests a toxic culture which Ms. Blasey-Ford fully embraced.

Judge Kavanaugh has been portrayed as a sexual predator and worse by his Democratic opponents, while Ms. Blasey-Ford has been treated as a paragon of virtue. It will be interesting to see how Judge Kavanaugh's detractors respond to the sordid Holton Arms yearbooks.

Sara Carter says there are many insiders coming forward, that her sources say the FBI keeps two sets of books, one for the congressional oversight people, one with the facts. So at this point, they have to be fired, or allowed to obstruct via a lawsuit, if that is even possible.

The reason it might be possible is because the DeepState is everywhere ... fire them now. They are going to prison if they don't stop Trump, so they will go all out, and the media will back up the whole Narrative 24/7.

But Comey admits to leaking, and we know it was to frame Trump, using their own fabricated fake evidence.

And THAT is their method ... framing patriots that get in their way, covering up the crimes of their Hillary.

Sara Carter's sources that have seen all this redacted stuff say no sources or methods would be exposed. It is (illegally) redacted to hide DeepState crimes.

No more delays ... I presume the white hats have a winning plan, but most of us have our doubts, given the bad guys are still in place, running their coup.

Oh Lord yes. Had a friend who was involved in a big lawsuit against the large company that had bought his business. Dragged on for about 3 years before they settled. But during that 3 years, he told EVERYONE about the suit, dood had a mouth like a drain.

Even after I told him multiple times to shut his trap for his own good, he kept at it. His opponents had private investigators roaming around, even following him (I saw this myself when he'd come by my shop to visit. PIs get pissy when you walk up to their car and ask if you can help them). With all of that, there's no way that his blabbing didn't get back to his opponents. And he still wouldn't shut up.

289 Read the redacted letter on CNN - thanks to a reporter who DiFi DID allow to read the unredacted letter, we know that the redacted parts in the accounting of the so-called assault referred to the friend named Judge and a boy named PJ, who has now been identified as one Patrick J. Smyth. Both have strongly denied ever having been at any party where such a thing happened, and have stated that at no time did they ever hear of an accusation of this kind against Kavanaugh, who they both knew. (all Ford needed to get their names was to look up his high school records, easily available)

I think this is what Grassley is pissed at most of all - DiFi has allowed the NYT to read the unredacted letter, but she won't allow Grassley to see it. That's how concerned she is with "confidentiality".

325 With all of that, there's no way that his blabbing didn't get back to his opponents. And he still wouldn't shut up."

I had a professor who taught criminal law who would talk about this a lot, especially in relation to the Miranda warning. She was politically liberal and a former defense lawyer, but she made a very good point. She would say that most people think that the Miranda warning requirement hinders the police, but that in fact it has been one of the greatest helps to prosecutors ever. Remember, the requirement is that once a suspect is arrested he has to be warned that anything he says can and will be used against him. But it is completely fair game for the prosecution to use anything he says AFTER the warning, and as every defense lawyer knows, the perps talk, and talk, and talk, no matter how warnings they are given.

I know another practicing criminal lawyer who loved to say that the best advice he could ever give to his clients was "Shut up, shut UP, SHUT UP!!!" And that his advice was almost never followed.

I don't know if this is what you're thinking of, but I've mentioned before that Schultz lived in my neck of the woods (this was back in the 1970s). My father, an attorney, had some legal business with him and was invited over to his house a few of times. He told me that Schultz was an asshole and very unpleasant to work with. Of course, Dad himself was no prince, so I suppose I have to take that with a grain of salt.
