The subject would be the little blonde girl whom everyone is doting on.
I couldn't figure out why the frame on the back wall is so bright that it looks like a mirror, but now I've decided that it is a mirror. It's reflecting her parents who are looking on and that's who blondie is making eye contact with.
The plump girl on the right has an unfortunate face. It's a middle aged masculine face. I'm guessing it's a mockery of someone middle aged and male whom Rodriguez hates.

"That it happened or not, I have no idea," Cristina King Miranda told NPR's Nina Totenberg. "I can't say that it did or didn't."
That's different from what Miranda wrote Wednesday in a now-deleted Facebook post that stated definitively, "The incident DID happen, many of us heard about it in school."
So why lie about it and claim that she knew the attack took place? King felt...empowered?
"In my [Facebook] post, I was empowered and I was sure it probably did [happen]," Miranda told NPR. "I had no idea that I would now have to go to the specifics and defend it before 50 cable channels and have my face spread all over MSNBC news and Twitter."
Empowered? That's certainly an interesting word choice, and a clever hijacking of empty self-improvement slogans, but it literally makes no sense at all in this context. By whom was Miranda "empowered"? Apparently by herself, which isn't "empowered" at all but arrogant. And not only arrogant, but also ignorant on a couple of levels...especially the level on which someone injects themselves into a national controversy as a witness in order to gain attention for herself, and then is shocked, shocked with the attention she gets as her claim is scrutinized.
By golly, that's Captain Louis Renault Award territory there. Especially about the shock over MSNBC's interest in the story.
However, trolls often show up in these situations. The most amazing part of this is that NBC considered Miranda a reliable source, highlighting her deleted Facebook post as a significant part of the Kavanaugh-Ford story even after she'd retracted and retreated from it. In fact, it's still up as of the writing of this post at 8:30 am. Perhaps NBC will also be shocked, shocked to discover that Facebook sources don't make for reliable reporting. Or maybe they just feel empowered to dispense with journalistic frills such as verifying and corroborating sources. We'll be charitable and include them in a joint Renault Award with the woman who discovered fame isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Back when we actually cared about social etiquette, the rule was that a PhD used "Doctor" only in a setting related to the academic field of expertise. Thus, a chemistry PhD would be "Dr. Smith" in a research paper, at a chemistry conference, or while teaching a chemistry class. Otherwise, he'd be "Mr. Smith".

I think a valid counter-tactic could be to embrace it fully. That seems counter-intuitive until you realize that identity politics is really just a smoke screen for "These populations generally agree with us, so they must have greater representation." Well, if Republicans keep putting up women, minorities, or whatever else, and they govern and vote for conservative issues, then the identity politics weapon loses its luster for the Left.

In the textbooks I've used, the big two being Gardners and Stokstad, very few works merit a full page spread and special section. Those that do are usually the same ones no matter which textbook is used. This one is almost always one of those, the Ghent Altarpiece is another, almost without exception.
Seeing the Ghent Altarpiece is on my bucket list.

I can't argue with how you interpreted it. However, you left out the part of my post about the Honeypot, so this is out of context, and on its own it changes the meaning.

I do the same thing as you, for the same reasons. But . . .
It's not idiocy to do otherwise. Maybe just complacency. People live their lives, whatever that entails, with their technology; they're not preparing for litigation, civil, criminal, or otherwise. Which is why lawyers routinely see such unfortunate e-mails and texts.
I say the same thing about Facebook etc. It's nuts to be on there, as it often nails down where you were and when, and there might come a day when you wish that was not the case. But non-lawyers don't think that way by and large.

Let's look at these two statements:
1) Says the incident happened when she was 15 years old
2) Says the incident happened between 1979-1982
Now, I'm no math major but it seems to me you can only be one age for AT
MOST two consecutive years. The only exception is being born January
1st.
Secondly, a third male has identified himself as PJ in the letter (Patrick J. Smyth) and says she's full of shit. Which leaves one more unidentified male. So my next question is who's house was it? Did Kavannaugh, Judge or this PJ person have a pool? Obviously, if you're at a high school party one person present would actually live there with their parents. Or coincidentally, was it the house of the 4th male or the newly added mystery woman?

assuming you're not being sarcastic, you should know that your provider (ATT, whoever) keeps backup copies of every text message you have ever sent, even if you've deleted them off of your phone, even if you've destroyed your phone. In Family law cases, it is standard practice for both attorneys to get subpoenas for printouts of every text message sent for the preceeding 5 years, from the provider, and it is astounding how much totally damning stuff pops up in court because of that.
I say in court - actually, most never gets to court, because once one side shows the other what they got, they say "okay we'll settle on any terms you set."

assuming you're not being sarcastic, you should know that your provider (ATT, whoever) keeps backup copies of every text message you have ever sent, even if you've deleted them off of your phone, even if you've destroyed your phone. In Family law cases, it is standard practice for both attorneys to get subpoenas for printouts of every text message sent for the preceeding 5 years, from the provider, and it is astounding how much totally damning stuff pops up in court because of that.
I say in court - actually, most never gets to court, because once one side shows the other what they got, they say "okay we'll settle on any terms you set."

What was done to Moore was wrong, but he wasn't the choice of the establishment. And there were also biographical details about Moore that made the charges sound "reasonable."
Kavanaugh is different. He has apparently live a clean life. And the establishment wants him.

The location is Chevy Chase, MD since she said the house was around the corner from Chevy Chase Country Club. That area is super, super elite and old money DC (think every politician/media personality you hate). NJ was 18 and I made the cut--my birthday was February-- but then in March they raised it to 19 and my friends couldn't legally drink.
We'd all been drinking in certain local bars since we were 17 anyway.
NJ raised it to 21 a few year later. MAAD had a lot to do with it....

In Sacramento I worked a 1860's house in the 1970's that had
Gladding McBean ceramic medallions where the gas lamps were on the
ceiling...the gas pipes were still there in the house. Electric meter
was early 1920's.

I doubt gas lamps. Those are a late 19th century invention. Probably just hooks to hang candle or oil/lamp chamdeliers from.
