The Morning Report 9/12/18

ourtheir.jpg

Good morning kids. Midweek and once again, as Hurricane Florence heads on a collision course for the Carolinas, please do the smart thing and get out of harm's way as fast as you can. Latest I'm seeing is that South Carolina's governor has issued a mandatory evacuation order for all residents along the coast. More updates as the situation develops/warrants. Stay safe!

In the lead this morning, a ramping up of Democrat-Leftist violence as a would-be knife-wielding assailant attempted to assassinate Rudy Peters, the GOP candidate opposing Democrat Eric Swalwell. Despite the attack being precipitated by an anti-Trump rant, the motive of the assailant, identified as one Farzad Fazeli still remains a mystery. At least the members of the Fourth Estate Fifth Column are on the case. At no time during Erin Burnett's extensive interview with Swalwell did she inquire as to his reactions to the attempted murder of his opponent.

Meanwhile a Loopy Ocasio-Fiasco loving Democrat Socialist threatened to shoot up a MAGA event at a Trump Hotel. So, NRA supporter. And to round out the field we have a PJ Media contributor and Fox News guest commentator D.C. Macallister receiving death and rape threats against her and her family for the unpardonable sin of Tweeting out an anti-abortion message. I guess she needs to be banned for her own safety.

Really, what more is there to say about this? When the media and political elite gin up and foment hatred and insurrection against a duly elected President, when elected officials vow to "resist," not cooperate or even violate the law and their oaths to uphold the Constitution, and when a former President of the United States repeatedly urged his followers with practically invisible rhetorical oratory "to bring guns to a knife fight" and get in the faces of opponents, this is the result, just as the mass shooting that nearly killed Steve Scalise, the beat-down administered to Rand Paul, the bike locks to the head, the rushing of stages at campuses, the rioting and on and on and on.

It is apparent that the Democrat-Left-Media complex will now stop at nothing to regain its power they see as stolen from them in 2016. Beyond the midterms, if they ever regain power again then I really think all bets are off. For now, the beatings will continue until morale improves and we plebes get our minds right. What a sad turn of events. But that said, this truly is what change looks like. It's not pretty. Considering the brainwashing of at least three generations of American youth, it's to be expected. In any case, the aftermath of the first Tuesday in November is going to be interesting to say the least.

In First Amendment, Fake News and Censorship, Rush Limbaugh postulates the theory that I think showed up here in the comments last week that he thinks the so-called anonymously penned NY Times op-ed was actually written by one or more individuals at the Times or in the media in general. Ann Coulter thinks Jeff Sessionszzzz is actually defending Trump from within (let the flame war commence) as Judicial Watch sues Snoozy's DoJ for the e-mails on the Carlos Danger laptop (that thing is buried deeper than Bin Laden's corpse), the NeverTrump Wall Street Journal gives a platform to the biggest jailer of journalists on the planet and Daniel Greenfield on the threat from within driving the media resistance.

On the political scene, the son of a 9/11 victim whilst taking part in the reading of the names of the victims at the WTC memorial slammed the Dems for using their loved ones as political props, Luis Gutierrez is attempting to slam PDT with the same blood-libel the Left hit Bush with after Katrina, Gillum and Sarsour ramp up Democrat Joo-hate, Wank-us King is a wanker, Bernie Sanders and son look like jerks, Joe's Man-Chin faces the music in the Mountain state, and Newt Gingrich with GOP friends are proposing a new contract with America. Fool us once, Newt.

Internationally, a new refugee crisis is brewing in Syria as Assad, Putin and Iran bomb the hell out of civilians (I hope we stay the hell out of that mess), France's Macron is running into reality with his plans to reform that country's economy, Cardinal Wuerl heads to the Vatican amidst resignation talk, and an analysis of a potential Trump plan to solve the Middle East conflict. I love PDT but 1,600+ years of reptilian bloodlust (aka Islam) ain't gonna get solved.

Domestically, Colorodan parents fight back against the mind-rape of their kids, Moonbeam enlists ManBearPig to try to reinstate the Paris Climate Scam, Heather MacDonald speaks truth about phony campus rape, and this phony RINO Curbelo schmuck needs to be kicked to the curb with this carbon tax garbage.

From hither and yon, Bono's a jerk, a reminder to the skulls full of mush hot and horny for socialism and calling us Nazis that the real Nazis were socialists and the Aussie newspaper is doubling down on the Venus Williams tantrum cartoon. Good.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

Damn global warming is killing off the major hurricanes! They're now only 37% as frequent.

The latest Hurricane Florence tracking chart. No longer moving North and it looks like it will track right across me. It is currently a Cat 4 but expected to strengthen to a Cat 5 before landfall and then decrease as it hits. I don't expect really high winds by the time it gets 100 miles inland, but I do expect massive amounts of rain.

It apparently hasn't occurred to them that they could just put the funding in the bill. Which would also be wildly popular with their voters.

110 I'm getting nervous about the elections and the house.

- Yes, I know about the problems with polls. But given the shit that's been coming down, they should be too solid to twist.

- The same principle applies to the votes themselves. I believe that the D's have now nationalized the longstanding traditions of New York, Boston, and Chicago. We simply must win by more than the margin of theft. Have we the resources to beat back the cheats?

- Frankly, 2012 killed my confidence in the American electorate. Once, OK, "making history", "First black president", and all that shit. But RE-ELECTING the Shitwalker was inexcusable, period.

- While the MSM is wounded, they're not dead yet. And the Gooplebook Twats are doing their all to replenish the former's lost influence.

Something needs to light a fire under the Normals' asses. Haven't seen it yet. Hell, I'm going to vote even though I know full well that, where I live, it's peeing into the wind.

As a long time Christian Conservative Republican [/sarc],I'm very concerned about the mid-terms. The incessant drumbeat of anti-Trump negativity has to have some impact on the base, and the re-election of Barky made clear to me that there are far too many stupid/illegal/fraudulent voters out there.

It is also frustrating to see the Swamp RINOs sitting on their asses refusing to take any real action on a Trumpist agenda, which I am convinced would re-energize and build the anti-Democrat pro-Trump base. Instead, what I see is a lot of NT "But, that's not who we are!" action from the Establishment

Later in the camps, we will talk about these days and say, if only we had organized a GOTV mid-term effort.

The big problem is that Trump is set to reshape the federal judiciary for the next 25 years at the district and circuit court levels. At the Supreme Court he could get two more appointments before he is done, effectively blocking the Left out of their traditional go-to tactic to get their policies through.

Between the courts and cutting regulations and staffing in the administrative state Trump is having an effect no one expected, and one that is cutting muscle out of the Democrats.

282 I'm relieved that the claims about Puerto Rico are falling so flat - the MSM waited too many months to get their story together and although they desperately wanted to do a rerun of the Katrina based attack on Bush, it took them so long to come up with a narrative that the moment has long passed.

It's enlightening just to highlight all the tricks they've tried - first, of course they used the San Juan Mayor as a source, until it turned out she was at the top of all of the corrupt supply rackets that were stealing relief goods and reselling them for a profit.

THEN they claimed that Houston of course got more attention than PR, ignoring the fact that PR's entire electrical grid, plus most of their rural road system, had to be completely rebuilt from scratch because of decades of decay. THEN they came up with a "study" that claimed it wasn't the reported 100 or so people who died from the Hurricane, it was actually 8,000! And Trump ignored it! But that fell apart when it turned out the "researchers" never did a count of any actual deaths, they just sat in their DC offices and did a computer projection of how many people MIGHT have died if all of their slanted projections came true.

SO NOW they realized that number, and that study, were too ridiculous to push, so it's down the memory hole, and instead they're claiming over 2,000 dead. (even Fox hosts are repeating this number) But this comes from counting almost everyone who died for the next 6 months after the hurricane hit and saying "oh of course they died from the hurricane" even if they were 98 years old and just died of old age.

Which is a method of victim counting which has never been allowed in any other disaster in history. It's a ridiculous methodology, designed for a purely political purpose.

We've had a horribly wet summer here. A bunch of south to north heavy rain events. Flood watches and warnings about once a week. They don't even bother taking the barricades back to the shop after a storm because there's always another one on the horizon.

Anyway, a local street was underwater by about six inches. Water was flowing down hill from a local golf course. The police were down the road about 200 feet where it was dry. They waved me through, I guess because of high ground clearance. I'm an old boater and I can tell you I could feel the power of that water in the steering wheel. Six inches. I can't imagine a car being able to be kept under control if more then that was flowing at speed.

Poor Dan Blocker himself died of an embolism at the far too young age of 43.

Good news is like JJ said, B.O. helps our side. Just like last Friday the hour long televised B.O. speech had only like 750 people in attendance in a 6,000 capacity arena. Trump's rally the next day in MT had nearly 8000 in attendance. B.O. gotta be smelling some dank shark by now:^). That said I think the Kona-Kenyan Blend is too funny.

319 people a little inland with a solid house should be fine, if they are above the flood zones. I flew back to New Orleans early once when a hurricane was coming, to be there to prepare but also in case of looting afterwords. My place was near the lake, but six feet above sea level, stayed OK even in Katrina (I had moved north before that). A few blocks away was 6-8' below sea level.

Hopefully the Florence winds decrease to Cat2 and it is mostly a big rain problem -- which will be trouble, but can be anticipated and hopefully causes less damage to electric and other services. The area for the heaviest rains didn't seem that wide, but on saturated ground it all runs off fast.

I was looking at real estate in Frisco on the Outer Banks about 15 years ago. Within six months a HC hit the area and carved a new inlet about two miles down the road.

They brought in some sort of portable bridge for a while. I imagine they eventually filled it back in. Apparently, it wasn't the original storm surge, it was from the back bay and the rivers flowing into the bay that over-topped the dunes trying to get out.

He died form a severed spine from a cougar bite and a 45 caliber gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The guy had no chance.

381 He did say that electing her was essentially his third term. That did the trick. Finally. As well as that brave bollard who forever will remain an unsung hero.

Imagine the reaction of the media if Trump had "fainted" and was tossed in the back of a van like a bag of laundry....

383 >>I rate this comment as NOT true. Fatal mountain lion attacks in the history of the U.S. are really not very common. You definitely have a chance of surviving.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with arming yourself.
I was thinking of that HS kid in Idaho Springs who had a set running path and was attacked from behind.

384 262 I cant fathom how the general population would reject the booming economy and vote to go back to democrat asshattery. Sure the committed 25% will just to spite Trump, but any other sentient being would be a fool to try to stymie all the good mojo we got goin on right now.

I see the problem. You're assuming that Democrats are sentient beings.

Hike with friend.
When cat shows up, shoot friend in knee.
Outrun friend.

I'm reading a book about the RAF's bomber war. They mention that certain girls around the airbases developed the reputation of "chop girls"; i.e., anybody who had a relationship with them "got the chop". They became pariahs.

In 2015 there were 10 rapes (10 too many) on the UTex campus. There are 52k students and almost 40k admin, staff, prof, visitors to the campus. Lets call it 80k. So 10/80k equals 12/100k. About 4 time safer than Austin.
The were almost 500 rapes in Austin City limits or 52/100k

393 Much as I hate his fucking guts, Obama on the campaign trail will motivate the voters - - to come out and vote Republican.

Don't forget. The media is still trying to prove they've got the real power. THey won't vet his lies and a large portion of the country still gets their info from them.

It's going to be a lot closer than everyone things, I fear. But yes. GO VOTE.
