The conservative echo chamber. There's no such echo chamber among the BlueCheckmark #HeroesOfTheResistance, obviously. Though former Obama "mind-meld" partner Ben Rhodes did say he created an "echo chamber" in the leftwing media. And you know who covered that up? Why, the leftwing media. Here's some possible reasons the public doesn't trust the media any longer: leftwing media outlets lying about the reasons two FoxNews reporters recently departed, and CNN refusing to correct its July 27th #FakeNews report that Michael Cohen would testify that Trump knew about the Trump Jr. meeting beforehand, despite their primary source, Cohen lawyer (and Russian oligarch personal foreign agent) Lanny Davis saying that he was wrong to claim that. The leftwing media credits itself as being heroic and capable -- until the question of their own failures come up. Then they claim to be as helpless as kittens over their own fates.
"It has been a tactic and a tool of the Roger Ailes-created echo chamber." ... Todd made the assertion after Broidy invoked a 2018 Gallup/Knight Foundation survey that found Americans think 62 percent of the news they read, see or hear is biased. Broidy argued that the poll should be considered when looking at the approval ratings of President Trump. "I'd say on the Republican side they got exactly what they wanted, a guy that was going to shake things up. Look, I think one of the best things going in Donald Trum'’s favor -- we know this -- is the mainstream media," Broidy said. But Todd aggressively pushed back against the assertion, saying Ailes had helped initiate the perception of media bias by the public. He later added that the push from Trump to discredit the media was a strategy formed in his 2016 presidential campaign. "I'm just saying it was a creation -- it was a campaign tactic," Todd said. "It's not based in much fact."

Hear me out on this---As I and many others here have commented in the past, the emergence of FOX News and the (mostly wrong) perception of it as a "right-wing " news source, made CNN and the rest drop the mask and let the full flower of it's full on liberalism blossom, uninhibited. It's since gone way further than that--to the point where they don't even pretend to be impartial.
So the success of FOX made the rest of the media show their hand, and the media doesn't like the results.

Major daily paper, all the newsweeklies, ABCNBSCBS (didn't have satellite or cable back then, and Fox News did not then exist, this being mainly during the 1980s). But finally, in 1990, I figured out that yes, the "news media" was nothing more than the Joseph Goebbels Memorial Ministry of Propaganda, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Socialist Party (which is what the Democrats have been since the early 1970s). They do not promulgate the "news", they put out propaganda, nothing more, nothing less. And yes, even then it was clear that they all sat in their own little echo chamber.

The book originates from an idea Alice and fellow Girl Scouts developed after Alice noticed that on a school trip the boys spoke up and girls remained quiet. Girl Scouts can receive a "Raise Your Hand" patch by promising to raise their hands in class and get at least three others to do the same.
I'm old enough to remember that you actually had to work hard to earn a patch. SMH
