April Dumb Ryan: Omarosa Pushed Her "Trump Said the N-Word" Lie to... Distract From Aretha Franklin's Declining Health
Update on Manafort: Guilty on 8 Counts, Mistrial on Ten

Now, you might be wondering why on earth April Dumb Ryan wouldn't just say "OMAROSA'S TELLING THE TRUTH, TRUMP'S A RACIST, WHOO-HOO!"

Well, it's because Ryan and Omarosa had Mad Beef earlier. It's not because Ryan has somehow become an objective reporter. No, this stance isn't based on any kind of dispassionate analysis about the lack of evidence for and conflicting stories behind Omarosa's charge; it's because Ryan and Omarosa have had Queen Bee bitch-fights in the White House.

This is embarrassing even for April Dumb Ryan. She's not just stupid and incapable of logical thought, she's actually insane.

White House correspondent April Ryan claimed Tuesday that ousted West Wing aide Omarosa Manigault Newsman purposely pushed a story in early August that President Trump used the N-word because she wanted to get revenge on Aretha Franklin for an old fight by distracting the public from the singer's declining health.

"She did it because Aretha Franklin didn't want her at her birthday party," Ryan told the Hollywood Reporter. "That's how vindictive Omarosa is."

Tell me more, Journalist. I believe everything you say. Why shouldn't I? You're obviously very smart with a good bead on things.

Manafort Update: The jury got the media's message and decided to opt for "not being doxed."

37 "She did it because Aretha Franklin didn't want her at her birthday party," Ryan told the Hollywood Reporter. "That's how vindictive Omarosa is."

This makes absolutely no sense. To get revenge on you, I'll distract the world from the news that you're dying???

The implication is that Aretha Franklin planned to die as some sort of media stunt to get publicity and sympathy.

And then I went "Oooohhhhh! OF COURSE!" -- since Omarosa is severely mentally ill and is physically addicted to being the center of attention -- what we used to call an "hysteric" or "attention whore" -- she thinks that EVERYBODY else in the world is also a mentally ill attention whore. And that the only reason anybody does anything is to make all eyes turn toward them -- because that's what Omarosa herself does.

It all makes sense now.

147 anyway, before my brain tries to squeeze out my left ear and run away from all this stupid, here is a link to the origins of life on Earth: https://t.co/c5zCacbr9p

The genetic clock of all us descendants of the first life form (some sort of archaeum) rolls back about to 4.1 billion years ago. This precedes the Late Heavy Bombardment of meteors which, it had been thought, would have melted the Earth's surface or near enough, making life impossible.

So maybe it was possible for a life form (presumed) even dumber than Omarosa and April to survive that.

That would make the 10 undecided counts include 5 for filing false tax returns, 2 involving a loan from the Bank of California, and 3 involving a loan from Citizens Bank.

321 So, opulent s**t sandwich for all you outnumbered informed rule-of-law sorts.

Convictions for Manafort on old tax charges which didn't follow any normal procedure (looked into and filed away years ago, no audit ever done, etc.). By a "special counsel" - whose appointment was in its own right illegitimate, and whose mandate could not, logically or reasonably, have anything to do with old tax cases.

And basically nothing for Awan, who's at the center of a complicated case involving lots of gross and obvious law-breaking, almost certainly lots of serious hostile intel operations against Congress/the US, and whose connections include lots and lots of extraordinarily dicey ones to, literally, al Qaeda.

Big shots of Patience and Faith required, stat.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically.

He obviously made the right decision to recuse. He was not only the most prominent member of Congress to endorse Trump not to mention the first but he ran Trump's foreign policy team during the campaign. It's impossible to look at that seriously and say he should have run the investigation into foreign meddling and collusion with the Trump campaign. Taking himself out of the mix was the only way there could have been an investigation that the left and the media wouldn't have beaten to death every single day.

After he recused himself he offered at least once to resign. Trump refused to take his resignation. That was Trump's decision.

There was always going to be an investigation. It's a sideshow to keep looking at his recusal and not look at what is happening in real time.

596 He obviously made the right decision to recuse.

It was a stupid move from everyone involved and if Trump sits down and allows himself to be interviewed by Mueller we might as well start he impeachment hearings.

I'm like you with Styx. Asia had the talent, of that there can be no doubt. Talk about the cream of Prog Rock, that was them. But they only made one song that I really like: Time again.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v46TMN1j8Jw

And IMO, The Alan Parsons Band ran out of good material after I, Robot. Tales of Mystery and Imagination is on my all time 10 Best list. Literate prog rock is difficult to do and even more difficult to maintain over a long period of time. I mean, who would think to put the works of Edgar Allen Poe to rock music?

These days, King Crimson is/are the kings of Prog Rock. I'm becoming a big fan after always having sorta liked them for years. The rest of the wanna-be's just write songs in off-time and call it Prog.

You're factually right except that the longer this Russian thing goes on, the more of a chance they have of finally getting to enough people that the only way to get rid of all this nonsense is to get rid of Trump.

I've long said one of the things the media is trying to accomplish is make Trump's presidency look like such a train wreck that enough people will tire of it and vote to "return to normalcy"--and Democrats--in 2020

There are certain bands where their songs all blend together after a while. Like they have a formula for choir progression and rhythm and words, and they get churned out of a machine into a song. Not gonna lie and say all the bands you listed don't at times have that feel. They do, even my Dragons. But the songs that DO sound different and break that mold are a wonderful change-up from the rest.

I think that's why the Beatles lasted like they did. Willing to experiment and try new things in different eras, and the experiments for the most part worked.

But Sessions was set up from the start, with all that "did you ever talk to Russians" stuff, then Franken kept saying "you omitted that meeting at a dinner party where you shook hands, you must be a lying commie". 657 I know Pink Floyd did a lot of ethereal harmonic vocals BUT those were usually a counter-point to a heavy/mean sounding guitar/bass section.

Didn't sound as fruity. But the lush vocals PLUS a poppy musical line, as a lot of the 80s prog rock acts did? Not a fan. Sounds like overly-busy disposable pop to me.

658 >>Yeah, him and Sessions are Probably laughing their asses off about the
fools who continue for 3 years continuously taking the bait. Good for
them.

Yes, you're probably right.

huh, i heard their voices actually kept most of their strength but I didn't believe that.

663 >>> I would do physical harm to Green Day.

Still can't believe producers paid actual money to make a musical based on their American Idiot album. In the Obama years. What were they thinking? All I can say is that Bush Derangement Syndrome is one hellufa drug.

664 Joe Bonamassa - a little egocentric, yet entertaining.

667 Best concert I ever saw, George Clinton. Worst? Has to be Jethro Tull.

668 The only good thing Green Day has done in decades is record their fans rocking out and singing along to Bohemian Rhapsody being played over the speakers.

669 I have always hated Prince.

Could never understand the appeal.

670 You don't just quit the job of Attorney General. You server at the pleasure of the president. He submitted his resignation. Trump declined it.

And I think Sessions has had more than one bad media cycle in the last year and half because of that decision.

________

You can certainly quit without your boss's permission.

Slavery is illegal, pretty sure that's somewhere in the Constitution.

And I don't really believe it went down that way anyway.

Sessions has been a disaster, a few speeches about sanctuary cities is all he's brought to the table. Anyone else could have done that and not given Mueller a blank check.

Yep. True.

If you ever have a chance see an Electric Hot Tuna show. I saw them at a small venue a few years back and they played for over 3 hours.

674 Sessions going after cartel gangs in America intetnational and Domestic human, child, sex, and drug trafficking in record numbers is a freaking failure? Also the advances made against the Derp State. The things that every other prior administration and AG were too chicken shit to go after and allowed it to occur and spread and Sessions is a failure?!

SDS confirmed.

The Moody Blues' Graeme Edge lived up the street from me when I was living over on the left coast about 10 years ago. Buncha rockers over there like Joe Perry and the late great Donald "Duck" Dunn.

And I've grown to appreciate Prince after not liking him for a long time. He's a monster.
