Netflix Cancels Michelle Wolf's Show

Man, when not even Twitter Idiot Liberals are talking about your leftwing political agitation show -- and those stupid fucks will watch literally anything on tv to get their political-affirmation dopamine hit -- your show must really suck.

No one was watching it.

If you don't remember, Wolf is that very unfunny, very obnoxious screechy-voiced hag who the Washington Press Corps invited to emcee their stupid dinner (the one Trump boycotted), and she embarrassed them all by showing them the real face of progressivism.

Had fun building a sheet metal bending brake for work this weekend (what can I say, I love building shit). Handy tool to have for fabricating things like one-off mounting brackets and such.

Fun, at least until I'd noticed this morning that I hadn't allowed enough room for the thickness of the material we'll be bending. Fixable, but annoying. Arrrrgh.

Pretty good. Project: P-40 is entering the final stages, the last detail parts going on. Kind of a bear of a model, the parts did not want to fit together, but with a lot of cutting, sanding, and filler it is almost done and doesn't appear to be that horrible.

When I talked to the breeder, she said "oh 30 pounds at most!".. it's gonna be 45 at least.. and long legs and long body.. she can reach the countertops already..

There's a shitload of really tasty food which is low glycemic. I'm on a mix of paleo and low glycemic and my weight has dropped 2 - 3 # every month from the start.

There are plenty of sites with good charts, and sometimes you might have to do an individual search for an item like potato chips. You might say 'potato chips - low glycemic?'

Strangely enough, they are. Baked potato -- extremely high glycemic.

It's quite an education. Basically everything we've ever been told about food is wrong.

Well, I'm leaving open the possibility that some of this is coincidence, as my arthritis pain fluctuates. So, I'll keep on this diet to be more sure.

Now my wife is gluten intolerant and her recovery was immediate and, yes, miraculous.

She lost 5 lbs in a week. Two sizes in two weeks.
Joint pain went away.
Brain fog went away.
Stomach bloating went away.
Energy skyrocketed.
Mood improved dramatically.

And all of this was pretty much immediate--as in within a day or two.

Since then there's been more, slower improvement as her body further recovers.

I think even some of the political ones had some good material originally, like Silverman and Schumer (some of which was even her own).

A lot of comedians, men and women alike, seem to have an early career, when they are young, hungry, and funny, but then start believing their own bullshit and come to believe they have deep insights, which usually kills the funny. Patton Oswalt fits that model, for example.

I got an adult beagle from a good rescue. Best choice I ever made. The dog was past the puppy lunacy, house trained, and they already knew its health and temperament. Best of all, I got the beagle sweetness.
