Yes, hundreds. The several dozen that get passed around and quoted a lot barely scratch the surface. Incidentally, this site is now being blocked by Cisco's Umbrella content filter. I've gotten used to US government and military systems blocking the site. But this is getting scary. Now they're blocking it from civilian users, too. This isn't going to stop -- ever. It's not going to stop until the only "conservative" things you can read on the internet are Jonah Goldberg and The Weekly Standard. Which is as they want it. Sure. Basically the judge enters the verdict (for the defendant) on the basis that no reasonable jury could find otherwise. If the prosecution fails to present evidence such that no reasonable jury could find the defendant guilty beyond reasonable doubt, the judge may enter a directed verdict for the defendant.

Lefties have been pulling this for a long time. I used to post at Politico, years ago, but was constantly getting my posts deleted for no reason. Posts that said absolutely nothing would "be reported" and yanked by Politico. It was just a pain in the ass so I stopped posting there or going there, at all. Politico lost one set of eyeballs. No big deal to them, I'm sure.
When there is a reporting system for content - which has to be automated for any site of size - it doesn't take many people to just go around "reporting" posts for commenters they don't like and cause constant problems. These reporting systems are nothing but instituted Hecklers' vetoes. And the sites that use the reporting systems are generally in collusion with the hecklers - or at least hoping they have hecklers there to do their dirty work for them and allow them to claim clean hands while they purge away.

Many of these so-called "leaders" have little attachment to the U.S. and its people. Cosmopolitans always bite the hand that feeds them as they view themselves as elevated above the common populace.
Claiming principles and a higher law motivate their actions allows them to essentially lord it over the peasants as virtuous and common members of the elite at the same time serving their individual grubby self interests of career, social status, and wealth.
Western society is recreating an oligarchy/aristocracy class that demands privileges for themselves without any sense of duty to the society that houses them.
Sooner or later, that brings the tyrant/king/emperor who will be granted untrammelled power via the masses to crush the aristocratic class if you believe classical political theory. The masses turn to the tyrant for self protection against the degenerate aristocracy who only look after their own self interests. This is really how democracy degenerates when its leading citizens are no longer virtuous.

I have to start out by saying that this is in no way a slap at you, Ace, because it's hard to judge people's - attitude for lack of a better word - when you're reading posts on a webpage.
But "this isn't going to stop - ever," reads like an admission that nothing can be done and that sites like this are only existing by day-to-day sufferance until such time as the "powers that be" shut it down.
What is the solution? How do we fight back?
I ask because I don't know, I don't want to lose this Horde and I want to know if there is something I personally can do.

I don't know how regular people fight it, since these are yuuuge international companies. A boycott is like a mosquito bite. They're testing a lot of this censorship to get their services into China (so that's who they want to please, not you or me).
The only thing that seems to make a dent is when they block a politician, such as the 4 GOP Congressmen filing charges against Twitter for shadow-banning them. As such, I expect they will suspend Trump *last*, long after anyone who could write about it has been silenced.

He doesn't say that. He doesn't ever advocate lobbying a business to keep or to fire anyone. But who a business keeps or fires tells you something about the business. In this case it tells us that the NYT is a bunch of racist SJWs. But we already knew that.
This would be like a White Supremacist paper hiring David Duke and then firing him when they found out he'd said racist things. It wouldn't make any sense.
If people want to hold them accountable, fine. But the NYT is appealing to what it feels to be their audience. And they're probably right. And how can we hold them accountable? Boycott? Are there any conservatives in America who still subscribe to the NYT?

Hmm, this is a bit more complicated than Cisco classifying ace.mu.nu into a block category.
Cisco Umbrella is a solution they sell to companies for network administration. They can whitelist/blacklist sites, do content filtering based on site classifications, do keyword blocking, etc. It looks like you can turn on SafeSearch within Umbrella, which is a Google managed content filtering service.
So this would require some testing. It may be that a network admin at a specific location blacklisted ace.mu.nu. Or it may be Google added ace.mu.nu into a content category in their SafeSearch lists, or maybe Cisco added ace.mu.nu to their Muraki content category lists.
So I'm just saying it might not be Cisco. It might be Cisco, or Google, or a specific network admin, or someone who can give a specific network admin group orders.

Once you understand that the majority of people who inhabit New York City are minorities the NYT point-of-view makes sense. To them, anyway.
I think eventually they'll end up being printed in a van, down by the river, with a hand-cranked mimeograph machine. On a long enough time-line even Mexican billionaires get tired of losing money. Or Slim dies and his heirs dump the gray bitch for a dollar.

The problem is we can't really directly test this unless a Moron somewhere has access to a Cisco Umbrella deployment. They would need to test different configurations to see if ace.mu.nu gets blocked.
It's not enough to say someone somewhere gets blocked from accessing ace.mu.nu because of Cisco Umbrella, because that could be because a network admin put this site on a blacklist, which is a custom configuration not controlled by Cisco.

When Milo was being deplatformed on college campuses, Shapiro wrote an article telling conservatives not to support Milo.
Now, at any other time, that would have been fine. Milo says a lot of anti-semitic things and I have no problem with Shapiro saying "This man is not a good conservative."
It was the calculated timing of when he did it -- when the major issue raging just happened to be whether Milo should be deplatformed at colleges.
Ben Shapiro kept saying to me "I did not say to deplatform him." No, he didn't -- Ben is sneakier and more passive-aggressive than that. He merely said "Don't support Milo, he's not your friend" at the peak of a movement to get him deplatformed.
I kind of agree with Ben Shapiro that Milo is not really a friend to conservatives. But when he wrote that, the question was not whether Milo was real conservative or whether he was an antisemite. The question was whether or not he should be deplatformed, and whether conservatives should oppose that or support it.
Shapiro chose to support it, then claimed he wasn't doing anything of the sort.
Sort of like his calculated "I'm not NeverTrump, I criticize or praise him as circustances suggest" but then just goes through his NeverTrump palz' twitter feeds for content.
Now he's claiming he might support Trump in 2020. Curiously -- and I'm sure this is purely coincidental --he's saying that just as he's attempting to get a new national radio deal, which would require, of course, gaining the support of Trump supporters.
But Ben Shapiro wouldn't be so cynically calculating to advance his own career, right?

I kind of agree with Ben Shapiro that Milo is not really a friend to conservatives. But when he wrote that, the question was not whether Milo was real conservative or whether he was an antisemite. The question was whether or not he should be deplatformed, and whether conservatives should oppose that or support it.
I've been pushing back a little bit on the Ben Shapiro comments here, but ace's comments have raised an issue that has a lot of merit.

There are a few honest comments at the end that America is sick of DC corruption ... but that changes the next day when the resistance is planned and new talking point distributed.

Yes, he is right to say a big government is dangerous, yet seems to fail to realize the FBI, CIA, etc. are part of that same big government.
Worse he totally fails to understand the danger monopolies and cartels are to individual liberty and even free markets. Combine those monopolies/cartels with big government and you have all the ingredients for the destruction of the constitution and liberty.
Conservatism to me always meant doing what was in the best interest of the protecting the U.S. constitution, free markets, national security, and cultural norms. Granted it can be a balancing act because sometimes by protecting one, you do harm to another.

I think that's what Shaprio is trying to do most of the time, but the problem is he takes it too far and ends up very light on criticism of his foes and very heavy on his friends. A lot of the sound mixing with movies and tv shows is utter shit, these days, but sometimes you can improve things by switching from surround sound output to plain stereo. I have found that most of the surround sound output is total crap (to my ears, at least) and got tired of having to have the volume at full blast to be able to hear the dialogue and then get blown out of my seat when a little action happens onscreen. I switched to plain stereo and have had a much better experience since.

once at LegalInsurrection I was trying to see why a judge was doing some thing ... some lawyer pointed out how the judges see through all the tricks and twists.
My point is "we" see what is going on, the judge (even the corrupt ones that give prosecutors an edge) know the gimmickry better than we do. So indeed they can try to make the law more clear.
But DC/VA juries ... who knows what might happen. The Trayvon/Zimmerman case gives some hope that average people can make sound judgments.

The Manafort charges carry a pretty high bar that he "knowingly" committed those offenses. What been introduced is mostly hearsay, speculation, and supposition. There is no direct evidence that he knew these were offenses. You can be pretty certain the judge will let the jury know about that.

Turns out it was a girl behind that account, believe it or not. She has apparently retired it as its pretty much accomplished all she could with it.
But the fact that Twitter banned it is just proof of their virulent hate of anything or anyone who disagrees with them.

Hmm, this is a bit more complicated than Cisco classifying ace.mu.nu into a block category.
Cisco Umbrella is a solution they sell to companies for network administration. They can whitelist/blacklist sites, do content filtering based on site classifications, do keyword blocking, etc. It looks like you can turn on SafeSearch within Umbrella, which is a Google managed content filtering service.
So this would require some testing. It may be that a network admin at a specific location blacklisted ace.mu.nu. Or it may be Google added ace.mu.nu into a content category in their SafeSearch lists, or maybe Cisco added ace.mu.nu to their Muraki content category lists.
So I'm just saying it might not be Cisco. It might be Cisco, or Google, or a specific network admin, or someone who can give a specific network admin group orders.

Cruz's office said that this was the #1 call they were getting from their constituents and they will be addressing this.
