60 Camden was a disaster after which Cornwallis went on a nice tour of the southern colonies. Ferguson's detachment was destroyed at King's Mountain and Morgan defeated Tarleton's detachment at Cowpens. Finally at Guilford Courthouse Greene so bloodied Cornwallis that he fell back to Yorktown to receive supplies and reinforcements.

I don't know if he was creative with the models but they always seem accurate because their complexions are not ideal, closer to what a military man would look like. Not very profound observations, I'm afraid.

I remember reading about that, and watching reruns of Hawaii Five-O it's obvious. He's constantly giving off "my joints hurt" signals all the time.

You know that crazy way he'd hold a gun. One handed with the other hand wrapped around his wrist? Well, RA likes to get in your hands, and do things with the tendons in the carpal tunnel and all that.

Holding a gun hurt, and squeezing his wrist with the other hand was just a natural thing to do.

My issue is that until Mueller is fully and publicly discredited, and the Democrats are exposed as the traitors I believe them to be, the chance exists they can find a way to twist this against Trump and squeek out a win. It's absolutely paramount that the DOJ begin to act. Announce even a small indictment, by way of creating some political pressure going back the other way. Not that it'll help, because cops don't ever "cut you a break." But I can sympathize with those pleas.

But she loses me at "I'm white. Please don't arrest me arrest me because I'm white." Sorry, sweetie, that's a non-starter.

The scary part? She said her daddy is a cop. I wonder where she picked up her attitudes about a racial basis for law enforcement?

Whatever department that guy is on better put a close eye to the records of arrests he's made - this would make me very nervous, if he worked for me.

Yep, but this is the problem with this high tech lynching and silencing of Alex Jones, essentially with the flick of a switch you're online presence can be wiped out with no recourse.

I don't know how his blog was setup or how Disques integrates so unless there is some backup mechanism, years worth of commentary has been dissapeared.

The media companies, and that's what they are need to be regulated as utilities and public accommodations.

And now everyone is putting pressure on twitter to remove Jones presence there even though twitter says he has not violated any TOS.

And Vox is lobbying apple to remove the InfoWars app from the appstore, even though he has not violated any TOS.

Oh yeah. I took a comparative myths (or similar) class in college. Pretty much everyone's myths made some sort of Freudian sense.

The Native American creation story we read was about Grandmother Mosquito who went to the bottom of a lake and picked up some sticks and then, I don't know, threw salt over her shoulder.

It was impossibly random.

On the other hand, the creation of Cape Cod and the Islands is brilliant. The giant god Maushup lay down to sleep in the water and the sands piled up against him to form Cape Cod.

When he woke up his moccasins were full of sand, so he flung the sand over each shoulder, creating Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

(Nantucket is in fact a sandbar, btw, MV is a rock).

OH-12 was only a close race because GOP turnout was down, that is true. The Democrat drew fewer votes than Democrats usually do in that district, but the GOP vote was down by a third.

But that was in part (and maybe a large part) because this was a special election in a safe GOP district. Voters just didn't feel the urgency. Come the November race (when OH12 will do this all over again) I'm betting Balderson does more what you would expect (Cook calls this an R+6 district, I believe).
I think the Republicans will do better by a long shot in November than the NeverTrumpers hope.

Heh. That would have been a cheap way to get a spectacular shot on film back then. I don't know about how they do the cane farming in Hawaii now, but back in the 70s, they'd burn the whole field to strip the chaff. The heart of the cane stalk would be left behind and they'd just cut and bale. Then you'd have black ash raining down for miles around. It'd look like jet black pieces of cane leaf, down to the veins. But when you'd touch it, it would disintegrate.

413 "Let not your heart be troubled you Great Americans, Trump knows everything."
To me this has been clear from the start, that Mueller was covering up for himself and Hillary ... the whole insider mafia. To me, the Sessions stand down was the Clinton mafia exerting its power, not (so much) Sessions trying to stay squeaky clean. Same with all the blockade on Trump appointments, and his people being moved out of power (Gorka, others) and some DeepStater or RINO being installed ... or underlings subverting Trump's every move (not to mention the rogue judges).
The corruption is so broad, 95% of DC wants Trump to go away, and some (Feinstein, Mitch, Ryan, ???) are fighting harder than others if they have been enablers/seditionists, undercutting America.

Trump Knowing didn't seem to be enough, because DeepState's coup has continued to obstruct for two years ... they hope to take back the house to save themselves ...

Rudy expresses what many have thought, but why does he have to "threaten" Mueller? The coverup of the Hillary mafia should have been shut down long ago, before it even got going.

Anyway, maybe I should "trust the plan", but I see an ongoing war/coup with the outcome uncertain. Way too many globalists with huge power/money running the machinery. But certainly good to hear Rudy making the (obvious) case.

418 Another day, another trunk full of uncounted ballots which *surprise* heavily favor the Democrat.

Statistically speaking, these "found" ballots and numerous recounts should split 50-50 between Republicans and Democrats. However, the split is closer to 99.9%-0.1% which, while not theoretically impossible, indicates that one party has gotten really good at stealing elections. I guess Gore's failure in 2000 showed that they needed to get better at it.

We've now reached the point where banana republics are laughing at us.

420 412. Ahh...but there's a logic to the order if Creation as presented there, proceeding from the fixed and immovable to the mobile, to the other-directed, to the self-directed, to the rebellious. There's a rational mind at work there.

421 412 Weird origin stories? Have you looked at Genesis 1?

There's nothing. Then there's stuff. Then there's matter. Then there's life. Then there's critters. Then there's human beings. Wacky, eh? Whoever wrote that thousands of years ago sure had a wild imagination.

425 >>Trump Knowing didn't seem to be enough, because DeepState's coup has continued to obstruct for two years ... they hope to take back the house to save themselves ...

Trump didn't know everything since Inauguration Day. Some of that information has been gathered in real time.

Consider that just yesterday somebody leaked to John Solomon copies of messages between Christopher Steele and Bruce Ohr. The last of these messages was sent in November of 2017. Ohr was demoted in January 2018 for the second time.

Somebody has been watching what has been going on behind the scenes.

429 The best Magnum P.I. episode was a two parter. An Asian assassin. similar looking to the James Bond guy, would kill people with single blow that was so fast that even if they had him at gun point he was able to do it. He did this to TC but miraculously survived and was able to tell Magnum that the guy blinked his eyes right before he threw his punch. He finally finds Magnum and they have brief fight in which he has Magnum on his back on top of him. Magnum was able to pull his gun and had it pointed at the guy's head. The guy smiles and blinks his eyes and Magnum fires. End scene , program over.
