1 Good Morning Morons today is Sunday, July 22, 2018. On this day in 1298 at the Battle of Falkirk King Edward I of England and his longbowmen defeated William Wallace and his Scottish schiltrons outside the town of Falkirk. One wonders if it truly was due to treachery by Robert the Bruce or was that just something that Mel Gibson threw in there?

5 Black counter protesters held their flag burning protest outside Mad Maxine's office despite her saying for them to stay away. The group they were supposed to be 'countering' were the 'Oath Keepers' who never showed up.

From their web site:

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, police, and first responders, who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That oath, mandated by Article VI of the Constitution itself, is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and Oath Keepers declare that they will not obey unconstitutional orders, such as orders to disarm the American people, to conduct warrantless searches, or to detain Americans as 'enemy combatants' in violation of their ancient right to jury trial. See the Oath Keepers Declaration of Orders We Will Not Obey for details.

6 The Department of Justice has released documents relating to a FISA warrant against Carter Page, a former campaign adviser to then-candidate Donald Trump.

Though heavily redacted, the documents show that the infamous Steele Dossier was a major component of the 2016 surveillance warrant. The dossier was also a major component in subsequent renewals.

IOW the justification for the spying warrant was based on a pack of lies. Why are there no charges for the criminals who swore out this warrant based on lies? Falsifying information for a federal warrant is a felony.

She is sponsoring the 'Rent Relief Act' which would provide a refundable tax credits for people paying more than 30% of their income for rent. Remember, a refundable tax credit gives you a tax refund whether you pay any taxes or not. So this is just another give-away to her constituents, the FSA. 30% of your income for rent is common, especially when you include utilities as this bill does.

NV does have "joint and several liability' laws. So I would assume they are very actively showing that they had no contribution at all to the Vegas shooter. Just because he was staying in their hotel doesn't make them responsible for his wrongdoing. But if some scumbag ambulance chaser can find one tiny thing that the hotel may have been in error on they can be held for 100% of the damages.

IIANM the US is the only advanced nation that has "joint and several liability" laws. And that is because 90% of the legislatures are lawyers.

dossier was also a major component in subsequent renewals.

Exactly what evidence other than the Steele document or the Astroturfed article "confirming" the Steele dossier was there? Did Fusion manufacture some more bullshit that they also used?
Remember the members of the Deep State group never expected to get caught because - like everyone else - they expected Hillary to win, so it was only necessary to have enough of a veil of legal action to plausibly hide it from an IG investigation. Remember, IG investigations START from the premise that the thing the IG is investigating was a legal operation that had flaws, not that it was a grossly illegal act masquerading as a legal operation. No IG inspection is ever going to uncover a Coup attempt - even if it actually existed because that is outside of the scope of an IG investigation.

114 Hamilton had some pretty scrappy laps including going very wide and over the curb badly (car became airborne) on...I think Turn 1. His car's hydraulics went out and he lost his gearbox, so he had to stop. He then, while the session was still green-flagged and cars were flying past him trying to finish their hot laps (2 min to go in Q1), leaped out of his car and started trying to push it back to the pits along the racetrack. He is, of course, getting away with that with no penalty.

He and Mercedes say the hydraulics failure happened before Turn 1, which caused a steering issue, which caused him to go wide. Plausible, I suppose.

154 So this is just another give-away to her constituents, the FSA. 30% of your income for rent is common, especially when you include utilities as this bill does.

Helps not just the tenants, but the landlords, too. Oh, and certainly the administrators of said program, too.

That's how you do Winning with Other People's Money.

You could always buy some of those ant baits and put them around your foundation. It's usually ants the 'peckers are after. Kill the ants the problem might go away.

Or shoot the damn thing. As long as you don't have lefty neighbors.

Actually, I agree with Tisch: because the eagle does not hunt flies.
With regard to the Civil War, I don't see how anyone could read Alexander Stephens' "Cornerstone" speech and not realize that secession was meant to preserve and expand slavery. States' rights may have been the lever with which the Union was split; but the fulcrum was slavery.
