Two, Two, Two Cucks In One

Nepot Jon Podhoretz (a lot of these guys are entitled trust-fund nepots, aren't they? Never hired-- only sired) was aghast that Louie Gohmert asked if, given Peter Strzok's serial dishonesty with his wife, he could be trusted in his testimony:

However, just five minutes later, this waste of Huttspace was eager to smear Jim Jordan with a wrestling "coach" joke:

It's interesting to note for which people (those on the leftwing side) their exquisite sense of Propriety and Decency kicks in and spurs them into righteous indignation and vigorous defense, compared to the deplorables for whom there's no such thing as a low blow.

They're not #Principled -- they're just on the other side.

19 He said two things the cucks didn't like. They're making Outrage hay out of one to ignore the other.

Gohmert asked if, given Strzok's history of lying to his wife, how anyone could credit him as credible.

He also asked about a IG investigator he named who he says told Strzok that Hillary's emails had been copied and forwarded to a hostile foreign state. Strzok says he took a meeting with the guy but doesn't remember that being said.

They're flinging monkey poop about the first question in order to not talk about the second one.

61 The furtive deceit which accompanied our lovers' assignations only heightened the frisson of pleasure I derived from my lover's erotic touch.

I remember the first time my lover Lisa and I made love. I cried out with such gusto that a neighbor reported a gay slaying was being committed!

62 Once my lover Peter and I had taken a camping trip to Grand Canyon.

After a supper of jack rabbit haunches, we laid out beneath the stars. Somewhere in the distance, we heard the pounding of native drums. Was it in our minds? We don't know.

That night, the great eagle spirit himself appeared at our tent and beckoned us to make love. We submitted to his ravenous desires, as we became one with the great eagle spirit.

Turns out the great eagle spirit was actually a fugitive trucker by the name of Rich Crenshaw.

67 Isn't hard to figure out that Podhoretz is a serial cheater with respect to his spouse. That's the only reason a man would react so violently and be so "outraged" at Gohmert's very rational observation - because the Pod realizes that the truth of it calls his entire public life into question.

It's one of those little tricks of studying human behavior - when someone reacts with outrage that is far out of proportion to the original statement, you know that the statement in question was an arrow that hit very close to home. Podhoretz is currently married to a women named Ayala Cohen. Wake up and hire a dectective, Ayala - I got good money that says your hubby is cheatin' on you, probably has been for quite a while.

In the Liberal Progressive Democrat universe, there is nothing wrong with casual sex with people to whom you are not married. Thus, just questioning the behavior is an insult.

On the other hand, Conservative, Christian, white Republicans who claim the higher ground of public morality and decency are not allowed that same freedom to dork anyone they want because that is the oppressive white privileged patriarchy.

In the same way that one can demand sexual favor, and offer sex in exchange for a career as a Hollywood movie star is just common business practices with benefits.

186 Willowed:
---
Me (as a Rep): Mr Strzok, I'm not asking for you to disclose anything, but do you know of prosecutable evidence that links Mr. Trump to Russian intelligence?

Strzok: {Probably a disclaimer here.}

Me: You keep saying that there is no evidence that you conducted your investigation with bias--which is what we all have on Mr. Trump colluding with the Russians--and yet you consider your suspicion of Mr. Trump--even to the point of one-sided invective--"patriotic". And yet, with the same amount of evidence as you have gathered on Mr. Trump in a year, you're patting yourself on the back for your "judgment". So, how is it that you don't warrant suspicion? You're suggesting that sound principle from us is to accept at face value that there is no *invincible* proof that you succumbed to bias--but yo had no *invincible* proof that Trump had been compromised by the Russians, either. And yet you pride yourself on your conviction that evidence or not, Trump was a threat--so much so that you projected it onto your fellow Americans--and misjudge that *everybody* would team up to stop Mr. Trump.

Do you pride yourself on your assessment capabilities--I mean, a lot of us missed that Mr. Trump would actually be elected President--but that's not a feather in anybody's cap as an analyst--anybody who missed it has to fess up that their analysis has some gaps. So anybody who seems to have missed it as much as you appear to--to project your own subjective opinions--onto a wide cross-section of people so that you could answer whether Trump would "never" be president with the subjective emotional certainty of a teenager that "No, we (the American People) will stop it".

But let's look at the unproven scenario of our colleagues on the opposite side of the aisle. That the reason nobody anticipated Trump's victory is that he had help from Russia. And I can see a case for "patriotism" if that were the case.

But with the same subjective, boisterous analysis that you determined that the American people would stop him, you also show little suspicion that the Russians would prevail. So when you text that, you really didn't suspect the Russians as the catalyst--and so the same level of "patriotism" can't really be attributed to your assessment at that time. So you were really "patriotic" because you really, really suspected Mr. Trump of doing something with the Russians.

So what does it mean to have "no evidence"? You were in the same situation--and yet you pride yourself for your "patriotism" for disliking a candidate so much that you really, really suspected him of doing ... *something*... dirty. You didn't know.

This also, doesn't show a whole lot of analysis--to text that over a work phone to your alleged paramour. Really, there is not a whole lot *professional* in you, is there?

You don't show much judgment or analysis or restraint, and your professionalism is quite questionable. How do you expect us to know that you could conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism--when the clues--not proof--but clues are right there before us?

Manafort was brought in to deal with a possible contested convention, which is what Cruz was threatening. As soon as it turned out that he wasn't needed, Trump got rid of him.

Oh, Puddyboy, btw, are you familiar with how to impeach a witness?

In the US, a party has the option of discrediting a witness through impeachment by cross-examining the witness about facts that reflect poorly on the witness's credibility or, in some cases, by introducing extrinsic evidence that reflects negatively on the witness's truthfulness or knowledge.

One may do so by the mnemonic BICCC -- Bias, Inconsistency, Character, Competency, and Contradiction.

For example, a cop previously found to have lied under oath is pretty much useless as a witness in a criminal trial.

I half believe this myself, but I have to say, in fairness, people that know him say it's just not the sort of thing Hume would do.

So I'm not saying you're wrong, just saying that while I hear this claim, I also hear push-back on it. One specific thing I've heard is that during the period when the Megyn affair was supposedly going on, Hume's wife was working just down the hall for him, making the logistics of such an affair difficult.

I don't know if that's true, either. Just what I've heard.

Then she goes on the lam, pursued by Trump's minions but managing to evade capture. She even speaks incognito at a Mare's March supporting the right to kill foals in the womb. The big finale takes place in a local barn where Ms. Ed lures Trump, convincing him to come alone without Secret Service protection and not tell anyone where he's going, because he's, like, really stupid. Citing a case where somebody likely lied, is actually support for voicing suspicions that somebody lies.

However, conservatives need to take this into the elections and illustrate that Washington is *still* a culture that feels that "honorable" men can lie to their wives if it's about boning some younger, hotter chick. And it rankles Washington when you call a betrayal of your vows "lying".

====================================

These are the same folks that pegged the CIA and FBI for multiple assassinations, international coups, attempted destruction of civil rights icons, introducing crack and AIDS to the inner city (not disputing or denying any of this). Now they are institutions of unquestionable virtue, cuz - GET TRUMP!

607 Again, it was in the past and had/has no bearing on the present.

Nope, it still is a problem for me. Once someone is proven to me to be a liar, it takes a lot to dig himself out. I give him credit where it's due, but I still don't trust him. I will grant that he seems to have grown since the old days.

611 hume had a rejoinder to Cap'n bill last week, I think, where Kristol said something like "I can support Kavanaugh, but that doesn't mean I can support Trump," and Hume said, "And you can say you can support moving the embassy to Jerusalem, and exiting the Iran deal, and exiting the Paris Accord, and granting tax relief, and cutting regulations, and that doesn't mean you can support Trump either, but it starts to get a little ridiculous."

Posted by: ace at July 12, 2018 04:50 PM (PA9oZ)

Yes. I really respect Hume for going against these guys. Just bcz we don't always agree with him on everything doesn't mean much to me, as long as the core principles match up.

I always remind myself, on certain things, like the opinion on today's hearing, it is really irrelevant...I never want to do group think like the left. So I may disagree with Brit on something like today, but I won't impugn him. Since I didn't see the hearings, I don't know whether I agree or disagree.

The whole thing makes a lot more sense when you realize:

Its been a police state for quit a while now.

And the two party system is basically a show for the rubes.

614 Do Kristol and Podhoretz have to pay for two passages on the cruise ship?

In addition to exposing Podhoretz as a total fraud and cuck, those tweets illustrate vividly the mindset that only the tone matters. It's high time conservative outlets such as Fox simply de-platform these hucksters.

616 The reason they didn't leak the Russian crap during the campaign is they thought Hillary had it in the bag. The Russian Op was to used on Trump after the election. To jail him or at least, cost some his time, reputation and 10s of millions in lawyers fees. And it was set up by Obama and his pals. Obama hates Trump, HATES

It's a store where you build teddy bears out of different parts. Real big for kids to have part of their birthday parties there.

They been around for quite awhile.

621 I dislike it when people calls others a "human piece of dung" unless they were talking about about serial murderers or a child molester, and even then " "completely warped and evil person" sounds more appropriate to me. After all a piece of dung has no choice in what it does. Humans do I was in a store yesterday where someone kept referring to Trump as a "piece of s***" Gohmert saying what he did to Strozk does not make him what Podhoretz called him. It just reflects badly on Podhoretz, IMO.

625 Fen, the secularist left have thrown decorum and decency right out the door. I don't know if this will hurt or help them in the long run. In the past, it helped them to whip up outrage, now, it's not so certain. At this point, just observe them as if we were on Safari. Regard what they say as barking noises and see what effect it has.
