Democrats Turn Strzok Hearing Into a Monkey Poo Fight

If you're watching, you know it's hard to watch.

It began with Peter Strzok reading a prepared statement in which he claimed he totally, completely wasn't biased at all, and certain reporters were moist at his honeyed words:

Ken Dilanian, hinted by William Browder to be a primary cog in Fusion GPS' political spin operations, was effusive:

The media was cheering almost as hard as their Democrat counterparts actually in Congress:

When questioning began, it was immediately halted by an hour or more of endless Democrat objections and points of order that weren't points of order and interruptions to make non-germane motions, such as demanding that Steve Bannon be re-subpoenaed. The Democrats spent a lot of time trying to stop any questioning of the man they claim has nothing to hide:

Once the antifa-style disruptions ended, Peter Strzok began contradicting himself.

First he asserted again that he did not remember writing the "We'll stop it" text, then he offered up specific details about why he wrote it.

His memory seems to toggle ON and OFF depending on his needs at any particular moment:

He then contradicted himself some more:

Then he claimed when he said he could "SMELL" the Trump support in a Wal*Mart he didn't really mean "smell." He also said he had nothing against the SMELLY Wal*Mart people. It was all just a friendly intercounty rivalry.

And the county that Strzok found so hillbilly-SMELLY turns out to have voted for Hillary by big margins -- but apparently not big enough for the unbiased Strzok:

He continues insisting he has no bias at all:

All that said: Republican questioning is ineffectual and keeps pushing on irrelevancies and silly points, like Gowdy taking four minutes to parse Strzok's text that Hillary should win by 100 million to zero. Gowdy really drilled down into those numbers, for some reason.

No one has asked yet about the IG's findings that Strzok's (and the rest of the gang's) answers as to why they didn't seek Anthony Weiner's laptop emails sooner were gibberish, nonsensical, and did not persuade the IG that there was not bias involved in the decision.

My problem is that a lot of questions (especially duplicative questions about Trump voters "SMELLing") seem to be designed to convince the public that Strzok is a bad guy, rather than questions designed to commit him to a specific factual claim that can be proven or disproven and thereby expose him to legal jeopardy.

Since then, however, Representative Ratcliffe had more interesting questions, causing Strzok to claim a fresh loss of memory:

Meanwhile, the Cucks are cuckening:

This Vox reporter sure liked David French's tweet (and Pastor AllahPundit's retweet of it).

Though they all seem to think it's natural and right that Strzok should have a low opinion of "the people he's investigating," they don't seem to remember that Strzok was also investigating Hillary Clinton and her gang, and yet seemed to hold Hillary Clinton and her confederates in a high level of esteem.

Gee I wonder why. And I wonder why they forgot that, despite also (supposedly) investigating Hillary Clinton, Peter Strzok was very fond of her, and imagined she should win the election "100 million [votes] to zero."

If they're claiming that a prosecutor is unavoidably disgusted by the person he's investigating, I'd like these TrueCons to explain how Strzok managed to so beautifully avoid it in Hillary Clinton's case.

Or -- wait. Do they think the Hillary Clinton email thing is just a trumped-up Hobbit Conspiracy Theory as their liberal pals and newfound fans do?

I guess "Owning the Cons" is the only important thing to them now.

#ImWithHerForever.

Because Strzok has refused to answer any question which he claims is about an ongoing investigation -- including simple stuff like "how many people did you interview before declaring Trump must be stopped?" -- despite having no legal basis to do so, Goodlatte says he'll be recalled to face a contempt charge.

After consuming nearly three pounds of pate and other spreadable meats, she whispered in my ear, her breath rich with the heady scent of goose liver, that she desired to make love.

I will tell you, that though she was willing, she made not a peep throughout our entire love-making session. Lisa was silent as the tomb of Tutankhamen himself, yet her face contorted in a grinning rictus of pleasure throughout.

Really, she made more expressions than Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura.

I hope lots of Americans are watching the Strzok hearings. Fox should cancel weekend programming and just play this hearing over and over again.

I think this was the overall point of the hearing and the reason Gowdy and the rest repeated what Strzok has said in his texts. People need to hear it. And the questioners repeated some of the texts to get it out there as much as possible

Watching the MSM cover for Strzok and also being lapdogs for the FBI and DOJ is making this all the worse.

Add to that how the Democrats are acting at this hearing, obviously trying to stop the questioning and the truth from coming out, is making them look awful. Only the hardcore left will be clapping like seals, because it is a game to them. Not about protecting the country and its laws and punishing those that were traitors to their country.

This will not bode well for election time. It's TOO obvious Strzok was lying and the Dems were trying to hide this.

On a serious note, do you think Tapper believes he is objective or is
does he know that he's just a lefty tool trying to take down Trump
because he, like Strozk, just does not like Trump style?

In this case, the tweet is just reporting what someone said, and
that's basic news work. Not everything some douchebag loser says is
wrong.

I mean, Colbert actually made a moderately funny relatively neutral
political joke about Kavanaugh: that his first name is like someone who
served you at TGI Friday's. That's the kind of political humor I like,
its not bitter or mean or just angry lashing out for the mindless
partisans to clap at. More like what Johnny Carson used to do. Its just
a goof on the guy's name, like people did here. Colbert is a douchebag
lefty twit but that wasn't bad.

Well, he wasn't carrying Trump's bloody head by the hair, so he had that going for him.

But I think it actually was that bad. Not obscene like Griffin, but insultingly juvenile. And that's why I quit watching all late-night "comedy" shows years ago. It's mind-numbingly sophomoric. And, worse, the point was not just to appeal to simpletons, but to further political agenda under the guise of silly humor. It wasn't. It was to denigrate a serious man the only way they thought they could because this is coordinated tag-teaming to affect politics via a social pathway.

Posted by: JackStraw at July 12, 2018 01:43 PM (/tuJf)

Wow, someone is lying. That's been obvious for months now. Nothing serious is going to happen. Let's look at the record so far:

- Inauguration protesters: charges dropped
- Awan et al: charges reduced to nothing or dropped
- A handful of resignations and one firing with minor retirement hits

Huber isn't going to do anything. They'll simply run out the clock, mumble about needing to do better, and the Deep State will hum merrily along.

It's pretty obvious what happened. The Clinton machine put together a hit piece on Trump. The CIA/FBI conveniently found it credible to spy on Trump and anyone associated with him in an attempt to prevent him from being elected and then to get him removed from office. If there was any serious investigating going on, there would already be people preparing for court dates, facing serious prison time.

1. manafort contacting witnesses is witness tampering.

4. the FBI Swampville hindering congressional oversight, not obstruction.

698 Because logical, forceful argument is only one type of status and doesn't shift the balance for everybody.

It's unfortunate--because I bought big into logical analysis and argument--but it's reality."

"Reality" includes having realistic expectations: there was never any realistic expectation for this hearing, or any other Congressional hearing, to be anything other than what it was. We may have wished this was something other than providing fodder for future campaign ads, but that is a hope base on fantasy.

I remember some previously have questioned why I have maintained that nothing matters right now, save for the midterm elections. EVERYTHING hangs on those elections. Now, hearings like this have value in that they can influence the public to a small extent on those midterm elections. But logical analysis would suggest that at best, maybe 20% of American voters even know these hearings are happening today, and maybe only 10%.

The public has checked out, they don't care about this bullshit anymore. Bad news - they don't care what we say about it. Good news - they don't care what the dems say about it either. That's where we are. If Trump holds Congress, he can sweep all this nonsense away with a few brushstrokes of his pen. But he has to win these midterms first. That's why they are all that matters now.

Yale graduates roughly 200 law students per year, assume 50 graduating classes (just to make the math simple) and you have about 10,000 potential signers. Of which this group got 3.75%.

They have squads of men prepositioned in every state to enforce their edicts. So when Brett Kavanaugh is seated, the first thing he will do is write a secret judicial order to activate those men to burn down all the abortion clinics and ACLU offices and contraception manufacturers. Then they will start shooting gays. When that part of the mission is complete they will move to the border and begin the killing of all children with Mexican-sounding names within a day's walk of Mexico.

I'm a little surprised you didn't know this.

Sending innocent men to death row for murders they didn't commit, and keeping them there even knowing that Whitey Bulger was responsible for those murders is just part of a day's work for agents of the FBI.

How did Whitey Bulger's nutsack taste? It was delicious! Salty, kind of nutty, with a mildly rough, wrinkled texture, and a pure delight to gargle! I have conveyed this information to Peter Strzok, and I can assure you all that Agent Strzok is more than willing to suck Mafia dick, and prosecute innocent people, if it will help the Mob and their associates at the Democratic National Committee!

Sort of my point. She likes to look good. She takes the effort to do so. But some people assume that this is the defining point of her personality. An objective look at the whole person in public makes it clear she is not obsessive about her looks.
About the weight. Remember that not too long ago she was in the hospital and is probably still under treatment.

827 What's happened at the least is that the FBI is now recognized as being no more professional, no more unbiased, no more laden with an amount of bullies than any local police department.

They no more can hold themselves as answering to a higher calling. To be above politics and strictly for defending the constitution.

And although that's a comedown it's not as far as I think they deserve.

I think some good small town police departments are far more honest, efficient and in general reliably honest than the FBI as proven itself to be.

What is also true and not as obvious is that the DOJ is anything but a Department of Justice.

And you can see it in the local AG's and what they get up to. They know that they have only DC to worry about.

And many of them are very political and corrupt.
