John Solomon: Hillary Clinton and Fusion GPS Just Kept Sending Fresh Copies Of the "Dossier," Using Stooges as Deliverymen to Hide Their Role, Until the FBI Finally Bit

Hillary's operation just kept using different stooges (or dupes) to keep pestering the FBI with their opposition research smear.

Among those stooges and/or dupes: Christopher Steele, obviously. Glenn Simpson says he didn't, but a Peter Strzok email says he did. Mother Jones' David Corn, one of the leftwing "journalists" pushing this nonstory the hardest pre-election.

And of course John McCain.

We know from public testimony that dossier author and former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele shared his findings with the FBI in summer and fall 2016 before he was terminated as a confidential source for inappropriate media contacts.

And we learned that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) provided a copy to the FBI after the November 2016 election -- out of a sense of duty, his office says.

Now, memos the FBI is turning over to Congress show the bureau possessed at least three versions of the dossier and its mostly unverified allegations of collusion.

Each arrived from a different messenger: McCain, Mother Jones reporter David Corn, Fusion GPS founder (and Steele boss) Glenn Simpson.

That revelation is in an email that disgraced FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok wrote to FBI executives around the time BuzzFeed published a version of the dossier on Jan. 10, 2017.

"Our internal system is blocking the site," Strzok wrote of the document posted on BuzzFeed. "I have the PDF via iPhone but it’s 25.6MB. Comparing now. The set is only identical to what McCain had. (it has differences from what was given to us by Corn and Simpson.)”

The significance of Strzok's email is obvious to investigators who reviewed it in recent days. The FBI is supposed to be immune to manipulation by circular information flows, especially with sensitive investigations such as evaluating whether a foreign power tampered with an American election.

By "circular information flow," I assume he means what Wikipedia calls "circular reporting," wherein A feeds information to B, and then both A and B send the information to C, making C believe, erroneously, that C has two sources for the claim, when in fact it has only one.

Circular reporting or false confirmation is a situation in source criticism where a piece of information appears to come from multiple independent sources, but in reality comes from only one source. In many cases, the problem happens mistakenly through sloppy intelligence gathering practices. However, at other times the situation can be intentionally contrived by the original source as a way of reinforcing the widespread belief in its information.

Sending the same bullshit from multiple "sources" to multiple recipients (the FBI, the State Department, the media, probably overseas intelligence services as well) certainly seems like an "intentionally contrived" operation to get the FBI to announce an investigation, and thereby get the media to report the oppo dump as "being investigated by the FBI," or to get the media to report the oppo dump, and then use media pressure to get the FBI to open an investigation.

And, interestingly enough, this same sort of "circular reporting" operation seems to have been employed by CNN and John Brennan and/or James Clapper in getting the dossier reported.

As I've speculated: Brennan and/or Clapper wanted CNN to report on the dossier. CNN also wanted to report on it.

They were in league on this.

But CNN felt it could not report these claims without a "news hook," as CNN actually told someone in Obama's administration.

We know that, because Comey told Trump that CNN was only waiting for a "news hook" to report it. A pretext.

So Brennan and/or Clapper lobby Comey to brief Trump about it.

This briefing then becomes the very "news hook" CNN wanted in the first place to report on the dossier -- deliberately engineered for them by Brennan (now at MSNBC) and/or Clapper (now at CNN).

And they were doing the same thing before the election, desperately trying to get the media to report on "The Dossier" to pressure the FBI to bless it with an investigation, or trying to get the FBI to open the investigation so the media could report on it -- any kind of "Well they're investigating Trump too" story to offset the Hillary email story.

John Solomon discusses David Corn as one of the FBI's sources for the dossier -- though Corn disputes the idea he was a "source." He claims he was merely trying to get confirmation that this dossier was... um, the same dossier he knew full well they'd been given a bunch of times?

Spoiler alert: it was the same dossier.

Corn needed to "confirm" that with the FBI?

Mollie Hemingway was curious about this, and about Peter Strzok's reference to the dossier given to the FBI by Glenn Simpson and David Corn. She wanted to know if Corn gave the dossier to the FBI as part of Glenn Simpson's information op.

He claims he didn't. He just did this on his own "journalistic initiative."

86 This is like pre-market pump and dump games in trading stocks. Some Mirc commenter would ask about a stock he said had promise. Some other commenter "yeah, I heard that too, and blah blah, I'm going in big at the open" ...

Maybe they chat back and forth, but they are just trying to pump, and it might be the same guy. They are already in and will sellinto any pop in the price.
Or it would happen in bigger ways if they had a voice on CNBC where they could really move a stock pre-market. (Cramer, even an attractive Fox host was accused of doing this with MicronTraderHubby in the day, but idk) So politically that is CNN/MSNBC, always pimping a fake story to push an agenda.

So anyway ... these schemes seem outlandish, but they are tried and tested methods of deception, ways of selling fake news for profit. What bigger profit than selling the FBI on fake fraud, to cover up real fraud. (even worse when the specialFBI perps are dirty cops, in on the deal)

Who think asshole McCain could admit he was wrong and that it was junk op research and a smear after he tried selling it to the fbi? At that time he had incentive, since DJT was opponent. Furthermore, they have engineered a special counsel investigation which is actually a continuation of the Coup Attempt--brilliant! It's as if Nixon got the Watergate Committee to investigate Larry O'Brien and the Kennedys.

And instead of investigating the crime like they did in Watergate, "journaists" are particpating in the frame-up.

Yes, they learned the lessons of Watergate well. And they still lost.

Posted by: Mr. Peebles at July 11, 2018 06:25 PM (oVJmc)

Problems with that ever happening.
1. Dads have no standing with reproductive rights especially with unborn babies.
2. The women's lobby is second to the military industrial complex in America. Hell, they may be stronger
3. Do any of the 50 states restrict abortion rights in any way which a women may sue to make them more less restrictive? Because that's the only way a case will ever make it to the Supreme Court where the Court could overturn Roe, which 1st it would never make it that far and 2nd the women's lobby and feminists would never allow a woman to risk such a thing to begin with.

So unless one of the 60 states pass a law to restrict abortions forcing a suit, it will never happen and as along as the women's lobbys have so much power and influence, no sttate will pass such laws.

That's pretty good, but you can get away with giving cute evasions in that type of questioning because there's no downside.

Sit this guy down with a couple of mafia goons, or Chicago police officers in the 1940s and I think you'll get something more substantive. There are only so many fingers you can lose or a certain number of times you get your hand slammed in a wooden drawer before you suddenly remember the good answers.

I'll bet a couple of those IRA guys they used to figure out who was a British spy would get a better answer too.

Weed and "medicinal weed" are the same thing. How the laws of your state deal with that is a different matter all together.

Posted by: LeftCoast Dawg at July 11, 2018 06:14 PM (UsCnO)

The medical stuff is much better and the strains are grown and do
have different effects. I have no idea what the laws are in NY.

Posted by: 1st world problems yoga studio at July 11, 2018 06:18 PM (of+54)

You have the wrong guys growing your weed.

The medicinal stuff sucks compared to what a guy with some knowledge can put up.

Posted by: garrett at July 11, 2018 06:20 PM (m+Of+)

Weed is weed. Beer is beer. Whisky is whisky. Unless it is Bourbon.

There is good chit, great chit, and just plain chit.

How it is marketed is another matter entirely. Growers here in WA state are now pushing branding concepts that Madison Avenue would be proud of. They are trying to establish their "Lexus" brands, their "Toyota" brands, and their "Scion" brands. And some times, I have under very good authority, the different brands come off of the same plant. Big buds are Lexis, smaller buds are Toyota. Everything else is put into the oil machine, that squeezes the weed under extreme pressure for a long time, resulting in a small amount of concentrated oil with very high % intoxicants.

And at least here, each batch is tested for THC (gets you high), CBD (numbs your body), and a couple of other things. They break off a bud and send it to an approved testing lab, costs something like $20 a test for the batch of the same plant. Last year, there was a big stink because some of the labs were fudging the results, saying a 28% but a retest said it was 18% kind of thing.

So if you are in pain, the high CBD stuff (a lot of oils are high CBD) is what you look for.
