EditionThat smarmy little bald-headed cocksucker Rick Wilson has written a nasty, hate-filled diatribe in The Spectator (no link, because fvck 'em) against President Trump and his "national populism." Assuming for the moment that national populism is even a bad thing, then clearly international populism would also be a bad thing, yet the fat stooge has been curiously silent on the topic. I guess he is happy with foreign interference in American politics and culture, and the morphing of American Exceptionalism into Globalism, just as long as he gets a check from its instigators. The thing about little Rick Wilson is that his only goals seem to be self-aggrandizement and creating a cult of personality around him, courtesy of his sophomoric gotcha! tweets and fact-free articles in corporate Republican publications. He was almost certainly a winless campaign consultant. I can't find any evidence that he was successful anywhere except in his own mind. His political observations are limited to 240 character smart-assed comments, or vitriolic rantings calling Trump an idiot and a Nazi. He has an "amen chorus" on Twitter that rushes to protect his tender sensibilities with similarly childish ad hominem attacks on his critics, and he is curiously unable to respond to substantive criticism. I wonder if that is because he has no philosophical clarity and simply goes where the cash is. It's not much of a business plan, but he seems to be plugging away. Maybe he has a side gig as a fluffer on private jet flights to Pedo Island, or perhaps he is embracing his masters' cultural psychosis and transitioning. To what? I have no idea, although he does look a bit like a fat, post-menopausal tranny. But if he is, then he thinks there's a buck to be made. There is this thing called a market economy. And this thing punishes bad business decisions very, very quickly. For instance, if I open a business and try to sell products that very few people want, then my business will almost certainly fail, and there is no one to blame but my lack of understanding of my customers. Feminist bookstore to close this month, blames white supremacy Of course I could blame the Illuminati or the International Zionist Conspiracy or Aliens...but my business will still fail. It's not as if Portland doesn't have the world's best bookstore in Powell's. A small niche market store cannot compete. If they don't have an online presence they're pretty much toast.

Reading between the lines, the other problem with the feminist bookstore was apparently that they didn't, or couldn't, pay staff. They cite a lack of volunteers. So nobody wanted to visit it, nobody wanted to work for it (without pay), and nobody wanted to buy from it -- and the problem is patriarchy or white supremacy. Uh-huh.

Bitch and piss and moan all you like, but when you're writing for a more public audience, you tone down your language a bit and at least try to give the people you disagree with the benefit of good faith.
Maybe it's the Internet, maybe it's the encroaching darkness of the Globalist/Deep State crowd, maybe they've just always been assholes, but that idea has been completely lost. This is probably the most well thought out, succinct and truthful statement on the whole Trump is gassing babies at the border mess. From the DHS Secretary: "As I said earlier today, surely it is the beginning of the unraveling of democracy when the body who makes the laws, instead of changing them, tells the enforcement body not to enforce the law. I ask Congress to act this week (on proposed laws) so that we can secure our borders and uphold our humanitarian ideals."Posted by: The Great White Scotsman at June 19, 2018 11:34 AM (+Dllb) Be careful what you wish for. He brought up the texts from the FBI agent who said that a witness in the Hillary investigation was lying their ass off but that aint nobody higher up is going to allow that person to be charged with 18USC1001 Goodlette asked Horowitz isnt that exactly what Flynn and Popodopulous were charges with, Horowitz meekly answered, Yes. I'll repeat this from the Sefton thread: Someone needs to explain to Horowitz, and everyone else in the DOJ, that they are on probation. And that there is no presumption of innocence involved (not a court trial), nor does any one of them have any cause to expect his word to count for anything. Unless we can verify it, every thing that comes out of their mouths is presumed to be a lie.

It's on a website that is www.umc.org ...looks pretty dang official and sanctioned at the outset. Again, I know that the UMC is a very large organization with a broad swath of viewpoints. The UMC church we attended for about a year didn't come across as super-lefty when we first started, but the longer we were there, the more apparent it became. We had a meeting with the senior pastor, and he didn't back down from his viewpoints, though he did "assure" us that most of his most radical beliefs wouldn't ever be presented from the pulpit. OK. Great. But you're still a Westar-loving moonbat. This kind of stuff, this "charge" against Sessions, needs to gain traction within the broader UMC community who DISAGREE with it. It needs addressed by those who these 600 clergy DO NOT speak for. It needs addressed and publicly refuted. The same way Southern Baptists need to do with Westboro. I pushed for "Americanism" before Trump took it up, but I never imagined "America First" could be made so controversial, even by "Republicans". Surely 'sovereignty' would be recognized as essential to liberty.
But indeed, they turned "patriotism" into white supremacy, at least for their fake narratives. Americanism still works though, and exposes the hates as frauds. They are globalists ready to surrender our country ... and by extension, ready to surrender all Western countries and those sovereign peoples. Brought to bare (since Trump dared win on sovereignty) is the left's "fully operational death star", as we see the MSM focus their energy on one narrative after another ... this week blasting away an inconvenient IG report (itself largely whitewashed) with a "children in cages" narrative. Some of us still do. The IG report was never designed to be a charging document. He is not a prosecutor, he is an investigator. Huber is the prosecutor and as Horowitz has reminded you today, prosecutors don't talk to the public, they speak in court. If you thought this was the end of the story you would be mistaken. Yesterday we learned that Comey is under a criminal investigation for leaking and it was confirmed there is an active grand jury. That seems like good news, that American small companies are still doing well, maybe even better, with reduced regs, and less competition from the commies that get to pollute, abuse workers, steal tech, manipulate currency, etc. There is no spoon ... there is no "free trade" that has been the spoon fed mantra fed to us by the globalists. This is what I suggest to people in church they feel frustrated with. Our focus should be on Jesus and growing to become more like him. Bishops come and go. Popes come and go Clergy come and go. Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit is forever. People that i know who are RC love the reception of the Eucharist. It doesn't matter what thing your particular Priest might think about immigration. He still has the authority and Apostolic power to be the channel of God's grace in officiating at that Sacrament. in fact, Church history and theology affirms that even a priest who is a sinner (and we're al sinners) effectively officiate at the Eucharist so I don't quite understand why people would want to give up the Power and grace of the Sacraments unless they just didn't believe in any of it anymore. All the serious players will skate. Not even McCabe has been indicted. The Comey "investigation" will be another multiyear affair, long enough to run the clock on charges or to put a dem in office who will be the "reasonable prosecutor" who will not indict. The DOJ/FBI assisted with the destruction of Cheryl and Heather's hard drives (evidence). I expected Horowitz to be an Obama/Hillary asslicker, and he is. The only thing Wray gives a shit about is preserving the corrupt bureau as is.

You learn these things when you listen to the testimony rather than talking about movies or screaming nothing is happening over and over again. And, I've never argued that "nothing would happen". I'm just saying that the various players involved are all politicos of one stripe or another - Sessions, Horowitz, even Huber. I think they see the need for action to appease the base and help Trump. But, at the same time, they don't want to destroy their own careers by going too far. What I expect we'll see is a bit of a compromise. Comey gets a slap on the wrist for leaking, Strohz gets some small penalty for something or other. Maybe a couple of other people. And, that is "something". I'm not saying it isn't. And, in no universe would I expect Hillary or Obama to be charge with anything - even if they are found with a smoking gun in their hands (which, essentially, Hillary was vis a vis dissemination of classified materials). what upsets me isn't the lack of prosecution - it's that I doubt there will be any real "cleaning up" or reforming of DOJ or the FBI. Given how much cognitive dissonance it takes to be a liberal in the first place I can't say I'm surprised that they are willing to overlook obvious corruption at the DOJ. Particularly since it was in their favor. Honestly Congressional hearings are largely clown shows anyway. I've said all along the complaints by Congress that they weren't getting info from the DOJ were more noise than anything else. All they do is oversight. The don't prosecute and they really don't do much in the way of investigating. You get a few good questions and some good info from a multi-hour hearing but most of it is Shelia Jackson Lee barking at the moon or Hank Johnson worried about islands flipping over. The important action is with federal prosecutors and grand juries and we get precious little information on what they are doing until they do it. It had old roots in the city. Claimed to be a community of several thousand. But, and I don't use this lightly, the church was dead inside. The longer we were there, the more we realized that all the parts of the church community were really just going through motions. There was no passion for Jesus. This church was there to be a nonprofit for social justice. Take in tax-exempt donations, be available periodically for homeless to come and eat, and pump out a message of smug liberal superiority. I think tolerating an obviously gay priest with radical politics is preposterous. They may come and go, but an institution that lets them come and go is broken. Posted by: Bear with Assymetrical Balls at June 19, 2018 12:47 PM (X8p7j) I had a hard time reconciling which parts of the Bible were OK to throw away and which parts to keep. Otherwise know as interpreting the "Hard texts". I AM NO SAINT and certainly am a sinner, but come on, retelling drunken retreat party in a sermon while hung over. Broken church indeed. Half the congregation just loved his sermon on "love", though. Posted by: Cuthbert the Witless at June 19, 2018 12:53 PM (ymnmz) 484

And to avoid putting together any kind of case, they're going to plead the ham-and-cheese dilemma: "If we had some ham, we could have a ham and cheese sandwich...if we had some cheese." Posted by: Zod at June 19, 2018 12:53 PM (Bdeb0) 485

Churches in the city tend to be very social justice oriented. Posted by: FenelonSpoke at June 19, 2018 12:54 PM (O5K3f) 486
My mother in law's church in Dallas has been taken over by SJW and gays -I do not think they are going to go back to a traditional protestant church. The church is in an area with a lot of gays. Their attendance has been way down for years. She had to stop going to the church because she lives too far away from it (she went that church starting in the 1930s and kept up attendence until last year.) Close to 80 years as a faithful member. Church is attended by mostly gays now. Posted by: Jubilation T Cornpone at June 19, 2018 12:54 PM (LilNs) 487

Posted by: Bear with Assymetrical Balls at June 19, 2018 12:47 PM (X8p7j) Well, so long as you don't leave them alone with your sons, there is only so much damage they can inflict. Homosexuality, meaning the acts thereof, are a great sin, but so is gluttony, and simony, and bearing false witness, etc. The same-sex attraction, by itself, is no sin. There are many holy priests who struggle with that and manage to NOT commit the sin itself. Meanwhile, in spite of the obvious sins committed, a duly ordained priest confects the Eucharist, and Jesus is truly present. So, you take the good with the bad. After all, we are all sinners, and if we jettison everyone who commits sin, there would be no Church and no need for one. Posted by: tcn in AK at June 19, 2018 12:54 PM (7UW64) 488

Posted by: reason at June 19, 2018 12:51 PM (CGjum) --- Two weeks ago, our church had vacation bible school for the kids. Other churches were also. Ours was the only that was free. Posted by: SMH - Get right or get left at June 19, 2018 12:54 PM (KCUTM) 490

Question: What was purpose of Fast & Furious? Answer: Collapse support for the 2nd A, allowing for mass banning of legal weapons. Question: What was the purpose of Obamacare? Answer: Collapse the American health care system and open the door to Single Player. In 2014, somebody (Obama *cough cough*) decided to play "Pied Piper" in Central America, and organized the mass movement of non-adults towards America (In essence, a reverse F&F). Why? To collapse the immigration system, and set up a perfect pretext for MASS AMNESTY for 14 ~ 30 million illegals. Critique, dispute, analyze and your leisure... feel free to copy / paste as needed. Exit Question: Who were the Pied Pipers? Who's keeping the scam going now that JEF is out and PDT is in? Posted by: CPT. Charles at June 19, 2018 01:01 PM (W+kMI) 495
