Nunes: Withholding the "We'll stop him" text from me is obstruction of a Congressional inquiry.

House Intel Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) was flabbergasted to find that the Strzok-Page text messages released with the IG report were redacted. He called it a "classic case of obstruction" from Congress. On the Thursday edition of FOX News' Ingraham Angle, Nunes promised the committee is "going to get all of the documents" and the question will become, "Who is going to get busted? Who's going to jail?"

"Why did I find out about that, today, at noon?" Nunes asked. "How could that have possibly have been redacted?"

"I mean, this is a classic case of obstruction, but then, the question is, who’s going to go investigate these guys?" he added.

White House: Actually, Trump Will Sign the Moderate, Three-Times-the-Size of Obama's DACA "Compromise."

Cucktacular.

Say -- Trump says a lot of bullshit he doesn't mean, doesn't he?

On the bright side, a drone strike killed at least one Taliban commander and might have bagged five.

One more thing: Lee Smith has a new column out today on tying Hillary's emails to the Russian collusion probe. I think the gist is that the probe was manufactured in order to give Hillary a talking point against Trump when Trump would inevitably bring up her illegal, compromised-by-foreign-actors server.

I haven't read it yet, but will remedy that shortly.

It's his first column for American Greatness.

When we screwed up, he disciplined us. He taught us to respect women. He taught us what being a real man was like. He also did not coddle us. 56 Trump has also recently said that Kim Jong Un is a great guy.

I'm not saying I like that Trump just says absolute bullshit all the time. It's my single biggest complaint about him. But he's had a pretty stable pattern of behavior. If he does sign the bill (which I doubt) he'll get some big concessions out of it.

Some people out there might say I have too much faith in Trump. But what is the alternative? It's not like I could vote him out just in case. He does it, or he doesn't do it. It's beyond our control right now. The alternative reactions are just going to get me worried, but will no more impact his decision.

And even if he does sign it... he's still a massive improvement over Hillary being in office, so it's not like I would have voted differently back in 2016.

99 Trump says a lot of bullshit he doesn't mean, doesn't he?

Why yes ACE he does. I think DJT's mindset has been cast in the 'Man of many hats ' mold in that there really are no books or college courses to instruct one to succeed in the construction world. Trump is an eclectic mix of worker, contractor, salesman then throw in the "WHARTON SCHOOL OF FINANCE" and viola you get Trump. I want to change 'Talk like a pirate day' to ' Speak like Trump day' incredible

110 If Trump does the wrong thing on DACA/package now ...... armageddon, of sorts.

I cannot believe he will. My assumption is confident enough that I'm not even going to look into this. It is simply inconceivable Trump would enact any sort of amnesty without getting the entire plate of enchiladas he has demanded, forever.

But it's a nice reminder of what a pathetic state the country is in, and how slim the margin between now (mostly "winning") and disaster.

And how trapped the thinking population is. We have almost zero representation. Dems - enough said. 50, 60, 70, 80 % of the GOP - on many key issues, literally just as bad, without exaggerating.

Trapped. Only Two Scoops' amazing and improbable rise, and his performance thus far, stand between us and some form of ruin.

Trump has also recently said that Kim Jong Un is a great guy.

I'm not saying I like that Trump just says absolute bullshit all the
time. It's my single biggest complaint about him. But he's had a pretty
stable pattern of behavior. If he does sign the bill (which I doubt)
he'll get some big concessions out of it.

Some people out there might say I have too much faith in Trump. But
what is the alternative? It's not like I could vote him out just in
case. He does it, or he doesn't do it. It's beyond our control right
now. The alternative reactions are just going to get me worried, but
will no more impact his decision.

And even if he does sign it... he's still a massive improvement over
Hillary being in office, so it's not like I would have voted
differently back in 2016.

102 The whole Dreamer thing pisses me off. The right solution is to
recognize them as citizens of their parents' country and issue them
green cards. Then they can get in line with all the other green card
holders.

THIS.

And I hate, hate, hate calling them "Dreamers."

This is one more instance of the Left speaking with forked tongue.

On the one hand, these "kids" are supposed to get special
consideration because they did not deliberately come here but were just
brought by their parents.

On the other hand, they are "Dreamers," as if they purposefully came
here with a dream of a better life. This is what makes them "dreamers"
in a way native kids are not, right?

Both can't be true. Make up your mind.

183 Well Congress has one, possibly sort of last, chance to try and rescue some semblance of rule of law when Horowitz testifies. The IG report is, upon reflection, a nearly perfect echo of Comey's infamous July '16 press event.

He laid out a very summarized review of facts that - to anyone who knows the system and the law - indicated a slam-dunk case for various felonies against Hillz and dozens of her mob. Then pretended to believe that "no prosecutor" would pursue such cases.

The IG report is a stunning compendium of FBI incompetence, bias, unprofessionalism, violations of oath, and breath-taking arrogance. And quite a bit of stupidity. But ..... every major investigative choice was reasonable, according to the IG. Even when they were obviously outrageous and contrary to SOP.

OK, we see again that 'Rons skipped their required homework and forgot, once again, to read the required text "The Art of the Deal".

Essentially, how to get a group off center and get them to make a decision, you talk a number of different scenarios, no matter who said them. This is how they start talking again, and hopefully, come to an agreement.
So if the Leftist Media reports something crazy about Trump, it is probably Trump himself once again f***ing with their heads, because they ALSO didn't read the required homework.

Really this stuff is AOTD 101.

But 'Rons should know better.

You can never go wrong on betting that, in the end, Congress will always choose to do nothing at all. Much can be said in 90 seconds, but it's all BS. Mueller trying to squeeze to get to the big prize. As Mark Levin said on his show, Mueller actually does not have the legal authority to do most of the things he's been doing, given he has more authority than the one who gave him that authority, and a specific crime to be investigated has not been declared. Last time I checked, there was not crime of collusion, much less Russian collusion. Collusion is a crime only if it's associated with illegal behavior.

502 >>Didn't check the link, Lizzy, but actually there's no winning of any kind on that topic now (usurping, lawless courts).

No, the link lays out how a judge in TX presiding over the challenge by 6 states over the legality of DACA set certain dates for action, with one of then expiring today. But it paves the way for this 2012 case to make a ruling on DACA that would pre-date the 3 other judges who said it was illegal to stop DACA in 2016/17 --- so it would have precedence?

I'm not a lawyer, but I this is true, then it *would* be winning.

506 There is absolutely no fucking way Trump is signing an immigration bill right now.

As earlier stated, he's safe in supporting any HOUSE bill that contains anything he wants because it'll get killed off in the SENATE. He can continue to play the moderate without committing to it, and then blame Schumer/Pelosi for why DACA will never see citizenship in their lives.

Meanwhile they have been making immigration their SIGNATURE message for the midterm elections, where turnout will be driven by Trump's message that he needs more Republicans in order to finally get the funding for the wall for good, better border security, and true immigration reform.

Plus the omnibus expires in September, meaning the budget madness will be another shitshow front and center that Trump will use to further drive turnout: "you want a budget from Congress, better vote for the Republicans, otherwise the omnibus insanity will never end."

Why completely fuck up your midterm strategy by signing a shitshow of an immigration bill that Ryan, RYAN!!1111 came up with? I guarantee Trump will be storming the country this fall with a bilateral message of immigration reform and dealing with the congressional budget insanity.

So she figured that's useless, I better put it back on, so she got the spray top to stick it back on the spray can, and it was dark, as I said, so held it up close to her face to see to put it on - and of course when it did go on, it jammed down, and the nozzle was pointed straight at her eyes, from 6 inches away.

I think she threw it away not long after. But she says at least she can swear it really does work.

601 552 I'd dress like Robinson Crusoe if it wasn't for societal norms, which seem to be nonexistent nowadays in many public venues.
Posted by: freaked

One of my early "viral" articles -- long before I developed the "zombie" persona -- was on that very topic: dressing essentially like Robinson Crusoe. But I didn't use that exact phrase -- I came up with a very clever name for a new "fashion movement" which I pretended was already a new thing and that was very cool. The "style," as it were, was simply to throw on whatever random, ragged unwashed assortment of clothes you find on the closet floor, and go about your day dressed like that, as if everything was normal -- no matter how mismatched, unhip, torn or dirty your clothing was. It was imperative not to put conscious thought into your choices, but to put things on essentially blind and at random. As soon as you bring intentionality to the act, it ceases being authentic.

Anyway, it really was a popular article - -this being before the Internet -- and I think it actually influenced fashion to a certain degree nationwide. Shortly after people began showing up at hiphop nightclubs wearing pajama bottom and fuzzy slippers, while elsewhere it being cool to wear old-fashioned curlers in your hair and an oversized bowling shirt, etc.

Basically, it was my attempt to normalized my ultra-lazy fashion choices, in which I often dress, as you dream, like Robinson Crusoe.

Bonus presentation tip - once you've cut the avocado into 2 halves lengthwise and taken the pit out, take your knife and slice a grid pattern into the exposed surfaces, all the way down. Scoop them out carefully with a sharp tipped spoon and they will all fall out in nice little cubes, perfect for a salad topping, or whatever you want.

You know, some people (and I hypothesize they tend to become liberal loudmouths who delight in telling us how to live our lives) just don't have any sense of, oh whatever you call it, awareness of your surrounding and the danger they present and how to mitigate it.

For example, ever since I was kid, I was messing around farm machinery with moving parts, belts, and chains and shafts that would do a lot of damage if you weren't careful.

Same with saws and tools and stuff. Some people just don't have the awareness to work around them. These are the ones who are missing a lot of fingers. Or worse.

Like the guy who lost his testicles stepping over a PTO shaft. Caught his crotch as he straddle it, and it ended up ripping his balls off.

Are people stupid or what?

I've been cutting open avocados since I was a little kid. Never once did I even come close to injuring myself.

Lay the avocado on a cutting board. Cut through the skin on one side, the gently keep going util you just barely touch the pit.

Then flip the avocado over, and do the same on the other side.

Lay the knife down. You don't need it any more.

Pick up the avocado and gently twist it. The two halves will come apart on your hands. The pit will be in one of the halves.

USING A SPOON, scoop out the pit from the side that has it.

THen use a spoon whose curve most closely matches the curve of the avocado skin to scoop out the flesh from the skin-halves.

Done.

747 I always laugh when people who watch baseball call soccer boring. I get it, it's European so it has to be bad. Meh.

Millions enjoy bathhouses too. And we have the HIV incidence stats to prove it.

Just sayin'.

I hope that was sarcasm, because it couldn't be farther from the truth.
AIDS was never the plague it was advertised as, and never flourished kike we were warned beyond the gay community. Feel free to screw random hookers.

755 Go ahead, sign the bill. Then I won't have to bother voting in November.

I'll let nature take it's course.

If Trump won't keep his promise and the GOP won't stop committing suicide, why vote?

They want that for the country; fine. I'll just hunker down and try to stay out of the way of the 2nd Civil War which those actions will make inevitable.

756 It's simple, he signs the amnesty bill, I don't vote for him again.
