Meet The PetMorons

IMG_0747 (1).jpg

I got this brother and sister combo on June 1st. They are 9 weeks old . They didn't jump onto the chair. They climbed. Oh well.

Lancelot Link Secret Agent Chimp

Obviously someone is very brave and has nothing better to do with their time. Kittens and puppies are work. Two of them? Twice the work. Thanks for sharing.

This is Storm the pomsky. He loves Ace of spades. Actually, he pretty much loves everything and everyone. He is 16 months old and can be found at Storm_the_pomsky on Instagram. He thanks ace and all the coblogs for what they do. - Frosto

Thanks for thinking of the Horde and sharing Storm's photo. He looks adorable there. We are thinking he can be mischievous as well?

Michael sent in this video of his dog Otto.

Otto is a 3 yr old Boston , named after Kevin Kline’s character in “ A Fish Called Wanda “, he will destroy any toy in no more than 3 days. He is my little shadow, always at my feet when I work at home and snuggles under the covers with me at night.

Thanks Michael.

Thank you all for taking the time and submitting us your pet photos. Quite the group today. Thanks!!!

Do you have a pet that wants to be a PetMoron? Please send his/her/its photo and story to us at petmorons at gmail dot com.

If you have an interesting story, tip or animal related video you can submit those as well.

Have a great week!!!!

14 One of my dogs got hit by a car at the around midnight and I had to ask the driver to end her suffering. The young kids are away for the weekend. She was our favorite dog. I'm not looking forward to telling them she is in doggeh heaven. Just a terrible evening for me, the entire family of neighbors that accidentally hit her, and for my other dogs who witnessed it.

29 The petmorons are adorable. Had a bit of unexpected news here during latest vet visit. Prince the poodle has Cushings Disease. They caught it early. Means meds for life and frequent tests. The meds for the Cushings can be too effective and affect the adrenal glands so that the pup would get Addisons instead. Does anyone have a pet with Cushings? Thanks.

Sometimes it's best to put out some sacrificial items, like putting zincs on a boat.

It won't help, because those are the things they demolish first, but it's the thought that counts.

She let out one bark as we crossed paths, and the lady said "Is that how you say Hi??" in a sharp tone, and Jane was immediately cowed, starting wagging her tail and basically begging forgiveness with her eyes. Such a sweet little girl, despite the terror she instills in many of her beholders.

I didn't know that either, would have thought New Hampshire and north. On the other hand, I believe there's an absolute conspiracy to deny Eastern Mountain Lions, so I should be pro-Georgia-Bobcat.

I had initial suspicions about that story because the lady was out putting a Grrl Power sticker on her car and that's why she had a camera. It all seems legit, though.

There was one killed on a highway in Greenwich, CT, and the authorities claimed that DNA showed that it was an Idaho mountain lion that had just wandered a long way. Uh huh.

OK, since you asked.

Took our cat on the great American road trip. He was in a travel carrier with a collar on in case we decided to let him out, we could put a lead on him.

So we're at a rest area when some idiot says we should let him out for a little water and maybe go potty. So he gets let out, and I hook up the retractable lead to his collar. While he's on the ground some idiot decides to adjust themselves and takes their hand off the lead, and just by coincidence Henry (that's the cat) tries to run. And succeeds! Now the retractable lead hits the ground behind him and the already scared cat is now terrified, and puts it into high gear trying to outrun the horrible no good awful leash that is chasing him. And he's heading for a cornfield, which is where we found him 4 years ago as a kittlen (different story for a different day) and I'm running behind him as fast as my "29" year old legs can go, right down a hill into some tall grass which was just a few inches taller than the barbwire fence at the edge of the farm property.

After I got up I quickly scanned the field for movement and to my right the grass was shimmying away, so off I went again until I got close enough to see some of the lead from the retractable leash and pounced on that.

So long story short, the cat ran and I got him before tragedy struck or he became hopelessly lost, all because some idiot had an idea.

btw, some idiot normally goes by the title Moron.

I was walking through tall grass in NH to get to the woods to "hunt" grouse. (The use of all the quote marks here is to indicate dubiousness. I only ever murdered two grouse in a bunch more times of trying). Btw, grouse are partridge in NH.

I spooked something in the grass. It was tan, quadripedal, and about that size, but the only feature I really saw of it was the back.

So I may have seen a bobcat.
