#Resistance Operator Who Illegally Leaked Michael Cohen's Banking Records Scrambles For an Alibi
Ronan Farrow spoke to the self-claimed "whistleblower" who illegally leaked Michael Cohen's confidential government banking records to the media. The story -- the alibi -- claimed was that these records appeared to be missing and she feared that Trump was trumpishly deleting the evidence.
Um, and yet, she had the evidence in her hands? Yeah that's right -- because the database where she claims the reports were being deleted from was just one place where the records were stored. So already, this story -- or alibi, because, remember, it's obviously, flagrantly illegal for a government employee to riffle through someone's confidential financial records and leak them to the press to embarrass and harm that person -- is fishy. But now the story changes again. Because it now appears the records weren't even deleted -- they were simply restricted as far as who could access them. Gee, why would anyone think to restrict these records? I mean, sure, a member of #LaResistance illegally leaked them, but that's no reason to keep these records out of the hands of mid-level bureaucratic losers, right? It's possible that a higher-up in the Treasury department restricted access to the records, understanding full well that bureaucrats are now in insurrection against the government that gives them a paycheck. It's also possible that Mueller restricted access, or the US Attorney investigating him, because the records are evidence they're looking into. Either way, the "Whistleblower" defense -- which already sounded like bullshit to me, a claim made to avoid jail -- seems off the table. The media made all these claims, right along side their "whistleblower" fellow #Resistance cell member. And they'd do it again in a heartbeat.Comments

Who, when, and how. These rules were dictated by VISA and now by several states with regard to PII (personally identifiable information).

Short term, I just wonder if a sufficient % of the electorate is paying attention - and understands what's going on - amidst a booming economy, royal weddings, etc. to make a difference in November.
At the moment, seems (seems) that the alien nutcase enemy really can't control themselves - whether it comes to increasingly outlandish criminal acts (such as violating financial record secrecy), or actual political moves/acts.
For example, need to update the Dem's platform for November by adding an item:

The hatred for Trump was always going to be there, but the media and the Deep state and specifically Hillary have so stoked the rage for their own personal fun and profit that it will never go away.
If God forbid something happens to him while he's president--or even when he dies naturally of old age 25 years from now--there will be OPEN and full-throated cheering and celebrations in may places among the country.

The logic is crap. She said there were 3 SARs and 2 went missing. How would she know that unless she was already looking at them. If something gets deleted, you (typically) don't notice unless you know what to look for. Why would she know that unless she wasn't already peeking where she was not supposed to. She probably originally planned on leaking all three but could only get one and is clearly backtracking to cover that what she did is HIGHLY illegal.
And here is the lie. You can't delete them and make them disappear, you can try but you really can't. Any IT dept worth a damn takes nightly backups of a database and keeps those backups on tapes going back for several years. And its not just the Treasury dept, its also the originating bank. And those banks have their own databases which are backed up nightly and stored (usually offsite in case of disasters where you need to restore the data - something I am sure the Treasury department does). They are required to keep those for years too. Anyone working fraud for less than a year would know this.
To me, this is clearly a low level employee who used her job time to peek on people she shouldn't have with the explicit purpose of leaking information to the press and people like Michael Avenetti so she could roleplay Harry fucking Potter. She initially saw some SARs with his name and as they were being restricted she hastily grabbed what she could (lumping other Michael Cohens in the process which is how those got out) and just dumped it out there.
