Actually that's the most pathetic part - see, it's mostly the US that has been funding them, ever since Carter. Trump is cutting that way back. Next has been the Saudi's, but as you've seen the Saudi's have been getting sick of the Pali's too, and have cut funding way back.
Who's left? The Euro's and the New York Limousine Libs talk a big game, but they don't actually ever put any skin into the game. (that's why they have no problem talking a big game) The only one left is Iran, shipping out some of it's pallets of cash, BUT - the more that Hamas relies on the Iranian's, the more pissed off the US, and Saudi, and all of Saudi's many allies get.
So, thanks to outbursts like this, Hamas is on its way to losing what little funding it had left.

So what could this mean? Obviously it was the Palestinians instigated the attempted border breach, so he could not be talking about that as such. The sense must be, that by deciding to relocate the embassy to Jerusalem, Trump and Netanyahu in effect injected psychological rabies into the Palestinians, and they couldn't help acting in ways that brought death upon themselves. But if they are rabid animals, incapable of being responsible for their own actions, I don't see how their being culled can be considered a tragedy.

He gives absolutely no credit to the "land for peace" deal Israel already struck with Egypt, namely to give back the entire Sinai that has been Egypts tank highway in many wars, on the promise of peace.
Brennan's is, in fact, the most radical pro Palestinian and anti Israel point of view, which is basically stating that Israel has no right to its own territory.
Quite simply: the UN and the actual functioning free world of the late 1940s gave the best, rough solution in the Israel/Jordan partition of 1948. When the Arabs rejected the deal and attacked Israel, all bets (and claims) came off the table. When they repeated the attacks over the years, all those bets and claims really, really came firmly off the table (and yes the pre emptive War of 67 was still a defense against massing armies, with a stated purpose of annihilating Israel). Whatever additional buffer Israel chooses to hang onto now, as the result of repeated aggressions against it, is its to hold as it sees fit.
Its time to implement the Two State solution, which is Israel and Jordan. Anyone is Gaza is welcome to stay in a demilitarized Gaza or go to Jordan. If anyone needs be pressured its Jordan to reassimilate its own people who they've used cynically for generations. What the rest of the Arab world can do is accept Israel's right to exist in secure borders, which are most certainly not those of 1967.

The cost of building a new consulate, due to security restrictions now, is so exorbitant, that it's seldom done unless the bean counters can demonstrate such an enormous volume of people from a particular city requiring visa services to make it worth the cost.
The move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem happened so quickly because we already had a consulate in Jerusalem. It wasn't difficult to essentially change the signs and addresses. This was actually much quicker than I thought it would happen.

Second, what is their goal? Why are they charging over that fence? Is it to get to food? Medicine? Shelter? Is it to get to homes? What are they attempting to get to, is it a move of desperation and deep need?
Answer: No, its not. If they were unopposed, their goal would simply be to invade and occupy an area. To seize it from the current occupants.
So what in the end was this maneuver? Was it the last, desperate effort of helpless refugees trying to find hope? Clearly not. But it was certainly staged to look that way.

Its like the car industry. There's a domestic product and an international product. The production process is basically the same in making the product. The product might vary a bit based upon local needs and circumstances but its still basically the same product, built the same way, doing the same thing.
It is an industry. It even has unions and work rules, although that's not what they are called. There are even on occasion labor and management disputes.

As for brennan? he and the admin counselor of th embassy in Riyadh both made the hajj together. Don't do that unless you are Muslim. I don't know details about brennan, but the admin counselor wanted to divorce his american wife of 25 years without paying her part of his retirement and alimony, so he went the Muslim divorce route and married a palestinian chick. His American wife accused him of bigamy, and filed any number of lawsuits, which tied up his work at the embassy during the entire time we were there. It was something to behold.
SHTF when he tried to restrict drinking at Marine parties, due to cultural sensitivities.
