From the previous thread:
The really sad part is that the doctors don't know whats wrong, so they are just walking away. They've followed their state approved checklist of tests and done, time for a coffee break and mandated training. So sad. Here there would be a 24hr effort to diagnosis the problem. Hell, we have hit TV shows about it. Now, if it were an identified terminal condition - then it is still a difficult situation and the NHS is handling it like a bunch of asses. Posted by: Jean at April 26, 2018 09:08 AM . . .This is literally the story of the VA. While their are very good Doctors there, they are not allowed to step out of the box, they literally can't recommend any treatments that are not next in line from their drop down computer menus. I had chest pains and shortness of breath for months and finally got a stress test that showed significant blockage in my heart. They told me that before they could do a heart cath I would have to go through 3 years of prescription "therapy" before they would authorize a heart cath, unless my heart failed in the meantime. I said F this and we bought Blue Cross through my wife who works at the VA. Called the heart doctor up, saw him on Thursday and had the heart cath done the next Tuesday. Everything is fixed now. The VA is literally killing people due to an overloaded bureaucracy. Gericult was a student of Jacques-Louis David but disagreed with him on various ideas. Eventually, Gericault would rebel against the David School and adopt Romanticism as his overall style.
Gericault's painting here is an example of the Romantic fascination with the dark forces of human nature. He made a bunch of portraits of criminals and the insane. If I remember right, it was to see if someone's nature showed on their faces. He also painted decapitated heads fresh from the guillotine. Posted by: Kris at April 26, 2018 10:18 AM (OyyDO) 215

We actually went through all of this before in 1866. The Radical Republicans took the view that cabinet members should be able to overrule Andrew Johnson, and his impeachment trial rose out of this fight. long story short, the Presidency won, the Congress lost. It's time for Trump to close the border crossings at Tijuana and Mexicali. This will not only piss off Moonbeam, but it will encourage the Mexican government to do something about the "caravan" of migrants before they cross over. It would be glorious!

From the assholes at the washington post:
"Perspective: Kayne West fell for the worst black Republican sales pitch there is. Here's why:" The piece essentially makes Kanye's point for him - it's just a big scold for him to get back on the plantation even though there's no such thing. Posted by: Ian S. at April 26, 2018 12:14 PM (ZGrMX) 352
