FBI Insiders Furious About James Comey's "Self-Serving," "Gauche" Cash-In

Jana Winters reporting.

James Comey’s first interview since President Trump fired him as director of the FBI has enraged his former agents, who deluged The Daily Beast with their disdain as they watched him tell his side of the story to George Stephanopoulos on Sunday night.

Seven current or former FBI agents and officials spoke throughout and immediately after the broadcast. There was a lot of anger, frustration, and even more emojis--featuring the thumbs-down, frowny face, middle finger, and a whole lot of green vomit faces.

...

"Hoover is spinning in his grave," said a former FBI official. "Making money from total failure."

When a promo aired between segments announcing Comey's upcoming interview with The View, the official grew angrier.

"Good lord, what a self-serving self-centered jackass," the official said. "True to form he thinks he’s the smartest guy around."

...

One longtime Team Comey source--who is still an FBI agent--sent thumbs-up emojis repeatedly during the first half hour, but even this loyalist began to lose patience by the halfway mark--sending a frowny face. A few minutes later there was a nauseous emoji, and then a poop emoji after the final segment.

The fact that FBI agents are sending poop emojis to reporters tells you a lot about where the Current Year FBI is.

One source pointed out that, given that James Comey had a national security-involved job, the intelligence community was supposed to review his book prior to publication. That source guesses that Comey ignored this standard requirement.

Oh, and this doesn't boost confidence in the FBI, either:

Oooh!!! He's wearing a blue shirt! And I thought blue shirts were only a myth!!!

Update: Some selected chapter titles from James Comey's girlish, bitchy old hen memoir:

Chapter 5: My Shoe Closet and the Principles of Its Organization

Chapter 8: FroYo Fridays!!!!

Chapter 11: Boys Are Stupid!

Chapter 12: CrankyVag and How to Fix It: Six Tips Guaranteed to Turn Your Poonani From "Meh" to "Yeh!"

I think Comey's about to find out that the most dangerous part to play in any war is to try and be the guy in the middle who pisses off both sides just to show how "independent" he is. Even McCabe knew better than that.

In my tie-wearing days you were not supposed to wear ties with a button down collar but I did anyway because rebel.

In the old days a Polo shirt was not a brand name, but an Oxford style shirt, because the buttons kept the collar from flopping up in the rider's face.

Or so I've read. I've never played polo.

Business formality is a slowly dying trend, though. Companies on the west coast, especially related to tech, at most require a button up shirt and slacks. I'v even heard accounting firms have relaxed their rules a bit. Button ups and slacks (no tie or jacket) for days at the firm; suits, white shirts and ties for client site visits.

It used to be that in such a large organization you would have, at least, one person with the integrity to do the right thing, no matter the personal cost. In the FBI, there was no one.

The DOJ had J. Christian Adams resign when he had had enough of Barky and his junta's lawless ways. And there were a couple of IGs who tried to do the right thing, but in the FBI there was NO ONE. NOT A ONE.

300 Substitute prosecutor for witness and Deep State for people and this is an even nicer read. God is all about justice.
From Deuteronomy 19- 16 If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime, 17 the two people involved in the dispute must stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and the judges who are in office at the time. 18 The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite, 19 then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you. 20 The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you. 21 Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Members of Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville say
they'll give gun owners a $100 grocery store gift card for guns and a
$25 gift card for accessories.

Gun buybacks are stupid. You either get non-functional garbage,
some biddy handing over her dead husband's beautiful gun that should go
to a loving home, or gangstas getting rid of evidence (no questions
asked, don't ya know?).

Posted by: cancer at April 16, 2018 03:05 PM (iv0p7)

The entrepreneur would see this as an opportunity to purchase said dead-husband's beautiful guns for $150 simply by standing just outside of the church.

380 Here are the things that make the Hannity thing "interesting."

First, the titillating aspect - the other 2 clients, the GOP fundraiser guy (Broidy?) was a payoff to a baby momma. We know Cohen paid off Daniels, presumably that was on Trump's behalf. So, why is he advising Hannity? Easy to draw inference is hushmoney to a honey.

This would be a blow to Hannity in a way that it isn't to Trump but was to the fundraiser guy. Hannity is a Trump supporter, so MFM would love to dirty up a Trump supporter.

Trump enviromental damage is another interest. Hannity supports Trump, absent Trump's win in 2016, this exposure for Hannity is his punishment.

Also of note - ALL of the details of Broidy's deal are out in the public now. And he got fired. Mission accomplished for the Left. I said when it happened the purpose the raid on Cohen was to get info to leak.

This lawfare business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.

My recommendation: drink heavily, and buy ammo.

Back when he was still witty and funny and not the sniveling NeverTrump Establican he is now, P.J. O'Rourke elaborated on this in "Parliament Of Whores".

He had gone to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration expecting to find anti-auto Luddites, only to find gearheads like himself, who could get to do more car tinkering at the NHTSA than they could at Ford, GM, or Chrysler.

PJ concluded that THIS was the saddest news her had heard, far sadder than the typical tale of corruption or incompetence. "When it becomes better for a nation's ambitious professionals to work for the government than to actually work, that nation is in big trouble. Mughal babus, British Empire civil servants and those at the court of the Emperor of China went down this career path...."

398 Now the GAO is saying he spent $40K, which was unauthorized by congress, for a cone of silence in his office so he could make phone calls without being overheard."

This is really funny - the reason the left is so mad about that is that they had people on the inside who were going to leak transcripts of every conversation Pruitt had to the NYT and the WaPo - but thanks to his security measures, that plan was foiled. So now they gripe about how could Pruitt have possibly been so distrustful as to think that his far left holdover office staff would have wanted to spy on him?

And as far as the GAO goes, there was a limit of $5K on "Redecorating" expenses, but no limit on security. So the phone booth thing is only out of bounds if they classify it as "redecorating", but completely allowable if it is classed as "security". Just to point out the kind of hair splitting the left is doing to try and come up with some way to attack him.

Oh and leftists make death threats against Pruitt constantly, and then the leftists in government say "how come he's so paranoid about these death threats our supporters keep making?"
