The Morning Report 4/6/18

GOPNRA.jpg

Good morning kids. The weekend is here at last. Since there's really nothing new developing on the immigration and muh-collusionzz fronts, I want to take the time to look ahead, either far off into the future or just around the corner, depending upon one's perspective, to the November midterms. And really, beyond that as my graphic up top hopefully illustrates.

Despite the usual caveats of reading polls (no matter how reliable or usually biased they are) seven months before an election, there have been a number of troubling signs vis a vis special elections and other semi-anecdotal events this past year that we would be foolish to ignore. And coupled with that, there are a couple of concrete factors that need to be discussed now that could have implications next November that, all things considered, should really be a cakewalk for the GOP. One of them is the incandescent, insane anti-Trump rage by the Democrat-Left and the other, more troubling one is a combination of complacency on our part post-11/16 and the continued and righteous anger at the GOP which, with the exception of Neil Gorsuch and the passage of the Tax Overhaul, has worked to stymie and sabotage the President and his agenda from day one.

This brings me to our lead item. A North Carolinian by the name of Mark Robinson stood up at a town hall meeting and went on an epic tirade against a government which he saw as hell bent on taking away his constitutional right of self-defense, among other things:

"When are you all gonna start standing up for the majority?... I'm the majority!"

I think that this gentleman speaks for all of us, not just on the second amendment but on every other issue, problem and existential threat that we face from the Democrat-Socialist left, their minions in the media, academia and entertainment, and most importantly the traitors, flunkies and crooks in Chamber of Cronyism-land. Circling back to the midterms, it seems that every other day we read alternate stories about a Democrat "blue wave" that will take out the President and his agenda, or that the Democrats are in complete disarray and the combination of Camera Hogg, the illegal alien invasion and Hillary's gaping maw will sink them to even further depths than every election since 2010. I'd like to think the latter, but I do not want to take any chances. And truth be told, electing Donald Trump in 2016 and please G-d re-electing him in 2020 is not going to be enough.

As is plainly evident, and as I have alluded to, the GOP is dead to me and I assume all of you. At best, they are "the stupid party." At worst, and as I believe sure as G-d made little green apples, they are a cohort of the Democrat-Left; a party that exists to preserve, protect and defend the New Deal even as its overlords on the other side of the aisle move towards Stalin's 5-Year Plan. From Lester Jackson, the author of the American Thinker piece (last link in the Politics section):

Five weeks before he died, Justice Scalia quoted Charles de Gaulle: "God takes care of little children, drunkards, and the United States of America." So it is no surprise that the American political system rarely provides a choice of the greater good; the choice is nearly always who is the lesser evil? Those dissatisfied with "lesser evil" Republicans should defeat them in primaries. They should not substitute a vastly greater evil for a lesser evil in order to punish the lesser. The consequences will be irreversible.

As faithless as Republicans are, they should stress - and easily document - what today's Democrats represent: An End to America. If Republican candidates fail to do so, they will deserve exactly what happens to them. Tragically, freedom-loving, law-abiding Americans, under relentless Deep State attack, will not deserve it!

Yes, the GOP is dead to us. But since its base consists of the Chamber of Commerce with perhaps a war chest of hundreds of millions of dollars and control of the political agenda in Congress and statehouses across the country, taking it over is almost an impossible task (though traitors like Collins, Flake, McConnell et al need to be primaried at every opportunity). And starting a new party would be a futile effort. Or would it?

It seems to me that Mr. Robinson might have fired the rhetorical shot heard round the world. Because the infrastructure that has the organization and wherewithal to finally destroy and supplant the GOP may very well be right under our noses. So, without further ado, I would like to nominate the NRA to be the new home of the traditional Republican and conservative base.

The task would still be daunting, and the pessimist in me says that the human condition being what it is that even if an NRA Party came into being its leaders and elected politicians (please G-d) would be subject to the same weaknesses and temptations in DC that everyone else is. But, the situation is what it is, as is human nature, so there are no guarantees. Still, I think it might very well be an idea whose time may have come, considering what's at stake.

Can you imagine a Senate and House majority consisting of Mark Robinsons? I sure as hell can.

Not enough time to give you the rundown of everything but it's all worthy of your time. Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

6 I put this in the ONT, but here it is for the daywalkers:

The Chesapeake Bay has many inlets, and along these inlets are piers and warehouses and plants. Most are abandoned as pollution wiped out the fishing and oyster industries. Some have been repurposed as tourist draws or as housing for the thousands that have come to work for the United States federal government. Many, though, rot in obscurity. This part of our tale begin in one of these old warehouses.

"The door is unlocked, I told you it would be."
Five people enter the building.
"This place as a pungent piscatorian aroma; I am reminded of a quote by Izaak Walton - "
"George - please! Our contact said there wouldn't be much time, and when you get started..."
"Hercules would be weary," a women says to muffled chuckles.
"It is good that you do not want to waste time," a soft sibilant voice says.
"Who said that?" the leader of the little party says, looking around the dilapidated building.
"So Sorry, we should all be properly introduced."
A light turns on and though dim blinds the eyes of those who snuck into the building.
"Bill Kristol, small publisher and editor of a political magazine of receding influence; George Will, dean of conservative pundits, yet facing the fading of your light; Jennifer Rubin, domesticated terrier, but without further influence; Kevin Williamson - you blew up the bridge while you were standing on it - I do not know if you were courageous or just dumb; and Egg McMuffin, scion of a breakfast dynasty."
"Excuse me, my name is Evan McMullin, not Egg McMuffin."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"You should change it, just for the recognition. Now, I am..."
"Who Are You?" Bill Kristol shouts.
"I was going to tell you, I am..."
"Stop playing games," George Will thunders, "you must identify yourself."
"Of course, I was going to say my..."
"It is a Trumpian sort of low to keep your name hidden," Jen Rubin declares.
"G-d D---it! You imberciles! Shut Up Already! I have been trying to tell you my name! I am Dr. Fu Manchu!"
"Dr. Who?" Bill Kristol asks.
"No, not him; he's British, runs around in a police call box. I'm not him. You see, I have this Mandarin robe..."
"This is Strange," Jen Rubin says.
"No, Dr. Strange is a different guy already and he has a cloak. I have this mustache, which is becoming very popular again in Mukden and Port Arthur..."
"Mukden and Port Arthur sound like small towns, the sort that ought to die; and if they don't do a suicide pact we ought to napalm them," Kevin adds.
Fu Manchu looks at each of the people before him and pulls his left hand from the sleeves of his robe and waves a finger in the air in a circle. Ten large Mongolian raiders arrive to his summons.
"Mongolians - do not kill them. Just slap them upside the head so hard and so long that they shut up with saying the stupid."
A Mongolian grunts in a woeful tone of grunting.
"I am sorry," Dr. Fu Manchu says, "but it may take the rest of your lives. {lease to get started and maybe they will surrender earlier."
He walks away as the Mongolian raiders start slapping Bill, Kevin, George, Jen, and Egg upside the head.

No-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o.

Republicans bank on this. That's why they do the shit they do, with impunity.

They know that, no matter how much shitty shit they pull - how many times they push Tea Party Candidates out of the way, how many times they appoint their own Establishment guys, how many times they kneecap a guy like Trump - the conventional wisdom is still "Well, better than a Democrat."

You want shit to change - you're going to have to let the Republican Party die. And that means Democrats in charge for a time.

This is the problem with Republicans. They're not willing to let things get sufficiently shitty to really change how things work. And until things get sufficiently shitty ... things will never change.

90 From the Adolescent Agitator link:

Americans were reminded this week by every news source that Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968, 50 years ago. It is less well remembered that massive riots erupted in major cities around the country in the wake of the murder of King, that these riots lasted for a week, and that nearly 50 people died.

On April 6, 1968, two days after King was shot and killed, Eldridge Cleaver led a Black Panther ambush of Oakland police that resulted in two officers wounded and a young Panther recruit, Bobby Hutton, dead in a shootout. The left mythologized this into the prototype of today's Black Lives Matter narrative of "innocent black man shot by racist police."

1. Get Trump behind it and running under its banner in 2020.

2. Launch the push for Congress in the aftermath of a successful Article V convention to introduce term limits, which would put a lot of seats into play.

3. Come up with a good name and adjective. I think Federalist would be a good word. It has no negative connotations in modern politics, and speaks of our loyalty to the system as-designed, not necessarily as it's run. Our adjective should not be conservative, but "reform". Our goal is not to preserve something we have, but to return to something we've lost. That's an important distinction, and it leaves the tarnished label with the GOP-e.

Just enough to give them leadership, but not enough to make claims of their hands being tied look ludicrous.

Therefore, they play things for a break-even electorally, or even a small loss in the House."

There is some truth here. McConnell does enjoy not having 60 reliable senators to overcome filibusters, which he wants to keep to kill right-of-center legislation he doesn't like. Ryan is perhaps the most incompetent Speaker ever as to party-building, largely due to his personal corruption and religious fanaticism, a toxic combination.

As to JJ's suggestion, the NRA indeed is fearless. However, the major and one could argue the sole issue that will determine the fate of the nation is mass migration. The NRA's libertarian leanings probably wouldn't allow it to address this issue fiercely. The GOP is utterly worthless but it's all we have at the moment. Primary, primary, primary until we find a vehicle to supplant the Republicans.

I know that is fickle of me. Yet before we all profited , where now Just the big guys do.

I don't mind that they profit i mind How they do by cutting everyone elses throats. shoving up and comers out, with pay to play regulations, undermining the averge joe, by bringing in cheap labor while passing the costs of their laborers on to us with assistants programs paid for by US because they can not afford to actually exist in America on the wages they are given.

The article headline is "WATCH: Black Gun Owner's Epic Rant Against The Government Goes Viral", and the first sentence "On Tuesday, while speaking during a city council meeting on curtailing gun violence, an African-American gun owner..."

Why are either of the adjectives describing the man's race even there? It is not at all relevant to the story. Is the author trying to say that because of the man's race he is not really an American, that he should not be listened to? That just bugs the heck out of me.

Keep voting for the Republicans we've got now ... and you'll get the same thing.

We've got Republicans coming out for Gun Confiscation. We've got Republicans threatening impeachment of Trump. We've got Republicans refusing the repeal ObamaCare and joining Democrats to push Democrat agenda items in the Budget.

Does it really make you feel that much better when we get the same Democratic agenda ... pushed by guys named Republicans ?

And no JJ ... regardless of what they control - Democrats will not remain in control forever. They can't. They're outgunned. Badly.

And no ... we HAVEN'T tried what I'm suggesting yet. What we've done is scramble to the polls like damn lemmings, held our collective noses, and voted for whatever sack of shit the GOP placed before us. Just like we've always done.

The GOP sits in their current position PRECISELY because they believe, no matter what nickelfuckery they engage in, they'll be no less than the second-most influential political party.

Time to end that.

Think about who has won from the Left. They have distanced themselves from their own agenda and embraced ours. They have hid from what they really stand for and we have allowed it. The GOP has allowed it. Combined with a subversive political machine that drives and cheats their way to every polling station, it a deadly combination.

People need to get off their asses and get involved. Because these leftists will steal everything from us for their liberal oligarchy. The GOP needs to get off their asses and do a better job of talking about what we have accomplished and what we stand for. Its no surprise that with a relative of Romney at the helm, we are taking it up the squeakhole.

184 Ted could not be President after Chappaquiddick, that was his punishment. That is a running theme throughout the movie. He got a two year suspended sentence for leaving the scene of an accident. He had no drivers license and was most likely drunk. (He had no drivers license because he did not re-new his expired license. Because Ted could not be bothered to go to the DMV, stand in line, to have it done. Because he is better than the common people.) By the time they found out about the accident and who was driving, he had time to sober up.
One of the lines in the movie they are showing the actor playing Ted saying- We will tell the people the truth....as we see it. Well, I can believe he would say that.

And if he didn't know Mary Jo was in the car why did he say he dove back to the car several times to try and get her out? Fifty years later and his supporters still get mad any time the subject comes up. Like that clan were saints or something.

It's an idea or sure. When they finally get into power in 120 years or so, they can begin to unravel the damage caused by 116 years of center/right split vote and total Democratic control of House, Whitehouse, and Senate. Although that won't happen because the Dems will flood the country with their new voters and give the vote to the illegals that are already inside.

Unless it sprouts and is ready to win right away then the paragraph above describes the inevitable outcome of that approach.

It would be better if the NRA understood who their real friends are (not Democrats no matter how may signs the candidate may shoot) and get involved in the primaries and the general in a determined fashion.

That being said, the way things are going, I believe the democrats will be sunk in 18, particularly if the NRA gets seriously motivated which I think they will be.

By Thursday, he was done paving and came Friday to fill and seed the edges. He did a hot to cold seam where the apron meets the small paved county road and it's still perfect. Posted by: redridinghood at April 06, 2018 08:20 AM (PvFoN)

Common Sense ... as defined by "What are we gonna' do, not vote Republican ?" - is exactly how we got here. To a point where a significant number of Republicans are openly cooperating with Democrats against the Republican voters who supported them.

Look - take the case of ObamaCare. When Republicans only controlled the House and Senate (only) ... they passed an eight-page bill, HR 3762, they knee-capped ObamaCare by simply defunding it. Of course, Obama vetoed it. Republicans made a campaign issue out of it.

Yet - once Republicans controlled the White House - the bill never hit the floor. Fifty votes that previously supported the bill were still in the Senate. Plenty of people that formerly supported the bill were still in the House.

How can they so brazenly get away with such shit ? Because they know - regardless - that they'll be no worse than a minority party. The notion of falling to third place - or dissolving - never enters their mind.

Things will never change from the current trajectory until the current GOP is replaced. And it will not be replaced from within. The Trump election and the Tea Party Wave showed us that. Neither event changed how the GOP does business.

Yes.

Overall, Beale spent two and a half years absent from work while still getting paid. According to investigators, he committed time card fraud, travel fraud, impersonated a federal agent, and misused a government passport, among other crimes.

The way I see it, Pruitt is at the EPA to weed out any more people like this. I don't think it's a coincidence that this guy was a climate change expert - an issue based on fraudulent data, predictions based on questionable models.

262 Your typical project team has the following people:

The one guy who actually gives a shit and everybody else knows will do the work. He does all the work, had an ulcer and develops a drinking problem. Gets chided by his boss for not having an attitude that reflects the positivity of their corporate culture and for not being a team player.

The loudmouth guy who's a total dumbass but acts like he knows everything who immediately installs himself as project leader, even though he couldn't successfully lead cops to a Dunkin Donuts. He gets all the credit for all the first guy's work, and a promotion.

The sycophantic suck up who gloms on to the loudmouth guy and gets all pissy with everyone else on the team for not listening to him or doing what he says, and is the consummate yes-man to loudmouth. This person gets no credit for the work but gets the loudmouth to recommend them for management.

Then there's everyone else on the team. These are the free-riders who show up for team meetings to get donuts, then go back to their cubicles and play Minesweeper all day.

For the last four years I took that money and just sent it to the NRA. I'm a Golden Eagle member, and NRA-ILA is on my speed dial for donations.

Quite frankly, the NRA has been far more responsive in defending what I hold dear than the GOP ever was.

One time we had to. wear different fish symbols (based on our point of view) and go speak to other fishes who had a symbol different from our own. I actually found the name of some kind of fish that was related to actors and said that was the kind of fish I was going to be. That wasn't one of our choices, however. I think I bailed on that discussion and walked on the boardwalk at the beach (where the meeting was being held) or went to the prayer room instead.

We were lucky because Trump vs Hillary was a discernable choice. Never regretted my vote.

McConnell vs Grimes in KY last time ... not much of a choice, really. A Grimes win would have been better, in the long run.

Jeb! vs Hillary ... if it went down ? Not a choice at all.

Romney vs Obama ... I don't think, in hindsight, it mattered all that much.

McCain vs Obama ... I'm positive it wasn't much of a choice. Statist vs Statist. Glad I stayed home.

I'm done with the Romney choices. Run somebody like that again ... I'm voting "D". Just to pull the band-aid quickly.

340 The party of the "minorities" has been the Dems. They divide everyone into groups and claim they will always defend the oppressed against the evil 'majority'.

The majority was cowed into accepting guilt ... white, Christian, hetero, male, pro-gun rights, pro-closed border, anti-PolicemanfortheWorld, anti-Obamacare ...

Almost every majority has been under relentless attack, and Congress generally attacks them all while giving them kabuki and lip service (but where they really place their lips is on the lobbyist's ass).

So a majority party would demand the majority not always be overruled by the lobbyist. The majority that won for Trump was largely white, but that is not what really carried the win. It was border control, America First on trade ... take the country Back for the DC Cartel (as Cruz called it)

Not sure just how to construct that into a party, but as an underlying principle ... the point of protecting the minority has been flipped on its head, so minorities are imported to overrule the majorities, that are guilty simply of being the heart and soul of America.

If it wasn't for Pruitt's EPA reforms the economy AND the stock market wouldn't be half as great as it is.

If you remove him you will hurt the economy. This will hurt the most vulnerable among us, including kids.

I watched the evening news on NBC from the other room last night.
It's weird how they present the world so lopsided. Lead story was Stormy Daniels I think.

Really, who cares?

The just republican/conservative/Trump bashing for the duration of the show, and angel harps or whenever they mentioned a SJW cause. If you pay attention to the tones of the voices on the reporters you know they feel they are talking down to two year olds and must "lead" the rabble to conclusions. Remember they are the Smaht peepo, you know that becasue they wear Burberry coats n shit.

And the Smaht peepo will tell you that Fox is 100% propaganda, which it may well be, but that does not mean that NBC is that to the power of 10.

Yeesh, was it this one sided when I was a kid int he 70's? My recollection was there were undertones of conservatism that were accepted on air as at least debatable positions, not just scoffed at with the accusation of racist/sexist /phobe thought.

Sophomore Alex Hribal allegedly brandished two large knives in the bloody attack as he darted between several classrooms and down a hallway at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville -- a typically peaceful community about 18 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Twenty-one students and an adult security guard were wounded, officials said.

434 I'm usually a lurker here but I must say that the idea of punishing the GOP by electing Democrats is ludicrous. they used to call that throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

We must fight this fight in the schools, the coffee shops, the local government, the blogs, with family members and friends who think they can just disappear from our lives because we vote for Trump. (I realize it's easier to 'avoid certain topics')

and those of us who believe in Jesus Christ are on the front line of this war. The way we will succeed in saving our country from communists anarchists and Islam (all reps of evil) is by finding a pastor teacher who teaches from the original Greek and Hebrew and applying what we learn as best we can under the power of the Holy Spirit.

and prayer. That's how we got President Trump in the first place. IMO.

448 I think it's fine to tell people whom you get to know and develop a relationship with that you're a Christian.

I'm a pretty coarse individual with a distaste for the politically correct.

I have found when I share with people that I'm a Christian on more than one occasion that person people are a bit surprised even to the point of saying so. It's my belief that the image of the compliant Christian is what the outside world believe Christianity requires.

My compliance is to the Lord's standards, not the world's standards, and I'm pretty honest about that.

Surprisingly, I've found a couple of the people I have had these conversations with take a bit of heart from it, one or two even attending services at my church now.

451 the biggest thing imo regarding November, is whether the OIG report comes out and exposes the criminal activity, and prosecutions and real evidence follow. So far it has been 18 months of "has to be kept secret" except none of Mueller's accusations are kept quiet.

Delay delay, equivocate, prevaricate ... oops, need to wait another year, oh too late, Dems in charge, so sad, we (lied) tried.

Unless Mueller is actually acting as a double agent (cut a deal, decided to "be a marine" again?), then just the fact they are still there with incredible power is a really bad sign (omnibus is another bad sign). Not sure what else we can do except get louder about the criminals still in the system.

Love means never having to say you're sorry (ha) ... but they don't love us, "they" are plotting to destroy US, and probably feel they already did. Release the hounds.

yeah, meek, humble, submissive ... NOPE. Those only apply to the individual's Christian's personal/private relationship with God as Father. Our constitution is the only one that recognizes such liberty for the individual. (afaik) Live Free of Die.

There are many "groups" that seek to do business with their own (and minority entities are given "legal" preference on many government jobs), and being in that preferred group can have mega advantages.

In truth every individual family is a "minority", but Dems love to decide how to carve us up for their gain. Some groups are demonized, some become preferred minorities and not loving them can be illegal (LGBTQ, certain races, foreigners, etc.)

If the Demonrats get back in charge ever again - it is all over for this country. That is not hyperbole - it's a simple fact. *shrug*

Doesn't bother me.

But keep going down this road - electing just enough Establishment Republicans to stave off a collapse just a little bit longer - and everything is going to go down the shitter.

Republicans will continue to cooperate with Democrats until - like some here have said - enough Millenials and Immigrant Hispanics vote to guarantee a permanent Socialist Voting Majority.

Upside ... I guess ... is that most here will be old or dead. Downside ... my kids won't be. It'll happen that quickly.

I favor bringing it all to a point now.

Until then ... Mark Robinson can shout "When are you going to represent the majority" as much as he wants. The GOP has already given you the answer.

When the Majority favors Socialism. Not until.

I'm quite coarse: I cuss a lot. I drink. I smoke. I enjoy looking at attractive women. I play music for a living.

I don't like lies and I'm certainly not going to allow anyone to control my speech, my thoughts or my opinions. I'm the first one to say "PC is bullshit" in any conversation that happens to touch upon any political subject and luv to denounce Progressivism, socialism, environmentalism, the Democrat party and any other person or organization that deals in lies in order to gain political power over me. I hate them with the heat of a thousand suns and don't mind saying so when the time is right.

You can imagine the shocked faces when I tell someone I'm Christian. To say I don't fit the stereotype would be a good starting point. And I never mention it unless I'm asked about it.

I like to say, "I can out-smoke, out-drink, out-cuss and out-shoot pretty much anyone and I'm a Christian." Naturally the "What about it?" part is assumed. Did I mention that I like Yosemite Sam?

The media has constructed a false image of Christians (and anyone else who dares to oppose them) and I take great enjoyment in destroying it whenever possible.

Gains in the Senate for the GOP is a lock. There's too many Dems up in Trump friendly zones. They could easily get 60 + which is still probably not enough to break the RINO/Dem filibuster but there it is.

Trump's numbers are rising so candidates won't do the stupid thing and disown him. I think Trump is showing he's getting that wall no matter what it takes.

I don't see where the house seats are going to come from for Democrats. There's incumbent inertia and people love the Tax relief, and non-democrats across the country and in California particularly hate the sanctuary and immigration caravan love from the Dems.

Plus the IG report and whatever I hope Sessions is cooking up in sealed indictments in Clinton Foundation, Emails, Uranium 1 and FISA abuse will drop in plenty of time. A Second Special Counsel now would delay too much.

And.........

book - what I've consistently said is that we are on a path to American Socialism. And even with a Republican President, House, and Senate ... that path has not significantly diverged.

Electing a President through the Republican Party System has not changed the behavior of the Republican Party. Electing a wave of Republicans through a National Tea Party Movement has not changed the behavior of the Republican Party.

Yet here you are ... telling me that we have no choice but to support the Republican Party.

And I'm telling you ... the Republican Party has no reason to change. Because, at the end of the day, they know they've got your vote. Baby, where else are you gonna' go ? You'll raise Hell in the primary and toe the party line in the general. To do otherwise is too terrible to contemplate.

You're far from alone. I'm in the minority.

So - support the GOP. You're going to regardless - so have at it. All you'll do is get closer to the Socialist America you're worried about ... with less power to resist it than you have, in your hands, right now.

Don't worry ... you'll get plenty more indicators that the GOP is working against you, rather than for you, along the way. Maybe, at one point, you'll see enough to change your mind.

But don't ever think you'll "take over" the GOP. Because those old boys will sink that party before they ever let the likes of you and me in charge.

500 Until the majority gets honest with themselves and wakes up to the fact that Christianity and Christians are under attack in America, I don't see America surviving. It's ok to be Christian. It's also necessary to unite and fight for our faith and Jesus Christ. We are a Christian Nation and always have been.

Hope JJ et al will make the NRA aware of his idea. The NRA National Convention is in Dallas May4-6 I think .

502 Five weeks before he died, Justice Scalia quoted Charles de Gaulle:
"God takes care of little children, drunkards, and the United States of
America."
====================

That quotation existed long before Charles de Gaulle entered the world stage. It's been often attributed to the19th century Prussian statesman Otto von Bismark, but it has been argued that von Bismark never said it. It seems certain that it's a derivation of an old French saying, and it was first used by a French writer in a slightly different form in 1849.

503 Re: Refusal to send Guard troops. Just put active duty deployed overseas on the border and activate the Guard to backfill those positions.

504 The quote was from Bismarck but others have probably already pointed that out.
