Another Bomb Discovered in Another FedEx Sorting Facility
A different sorting facility, but apparently this package was sent from the same Sunset Valley suburb FedEx store, but wound up at McKinley Falls Parkway sorting facility.
The suspicious package found at a FedEx ground facility at McKinney Falls Parkway, which authorities believe to be a bomb, was sent by the same person behind a bomb that exploded early Tuesday at a FedEx facility in Schertz, U.S. Rep Lloyd Doggett told the American-Statesman.Right now they're attempting to detonate the bomb safely, which I guess I understand as far as safety goes, but wouldn't you love the investigative potential of an undetonated bomb? Don't we have robots that can an attempt at a simple defusing? Not one of those complicated ones you see in Hollywood movies (which apparently only happen in Hollywood movies). But if it's simple matter of cutting the line from the battery to the ignition of the bomb, we don't have robots that can do that yet? Trace Gallagher reports on FoxNews what commenters here pointed out -- that video cameras at that FedEx store may have caught the bomber on tape. No positive word from police on that, though. I have to imagine if they had any kind of photograph, they would share it almost immediately. This isn't a keep-it-quiet-so-we-can-catch him situation; this is a get-a-million-eyes-looking-for-the-perp situation. This guy is obviously very impatient and is now acting in a frenzied way, despite the dragnet out for him. One could guess that he will once again change his method of attempting to deliver a bomb. Or maybe start trying to bomb other areas. He seems to have a keen interest in killing people in Austin, though.

If it turns out there is no manifesto inspiring this, the MO is actually rather specific... random bombings is not personal and involves no actual physical presence in the kill. Someone like this gets what he wants from the process and the result of a killing. He does not need a hands on in the kill. Most multiple/mass/serial killer types require a power play/sadism factor and deep investment in the moment of death. Some are about the lead up to death, butkill itself is just a byproduct of the process. Others, possibly in this case want the process and the kill, but aren't interested in getting involved in the messy act of murder.

But yeah, gorgeous, and you can spend the entire summer living on the spit (be a spitrat), for next to nothing. It wouldn't be my choice of locale for the winter, though. When I voted today, an election judge was a 20 something girl who had the right side of her head shaved and words written on the side of her head. I couldn't make out the words but I'm guessing it was some lefty message. I also couldn't tell if it was tattooed in her empty skull or just written with a marker

Indeed to that last bit. I don't think it was a good play though. It wasn't executed well, anyway. It was so obvious an attempt to wheedle clues with flattery, my first thought was he would find it insulting. Considering the apparent reply of KABOOM he possibly did.

By humanizing the weather they reduce the size and complexity of the weather and make it seem rational to say that we've caused the climate to change over the entire planet AND that therefore we can change it.
They omit a few caveats.
1 is that whatever it cost to change the climate will also at least be the cost to change it back.
2 who will pay and who will benefit
3 why the new climate is bad and the old climate
4 and most importantly; how can a "science" that cannot show accurately climate that already has occurred nor anticipate climate (no more than a few days) that will happen in the future divine how to change climate that will take place 100 years from now?
The data processing we have now, the number of variables that account for climate cannot be processed. They must use "models" that they guess are true representations.
They're wrong. They've always been wrong. They won't release the software on any of these modeling programs. And that tells you a whole lot about how truthful these modeling programs really are.
