Sara A. Carter: Sources Say McCabe Will Likely Be Fired Before He's Eligible for His Pension

Carter reports that her sources tell her McCabe will be fired -- they'd be "surprised" if he weren't -- and criminal charges are being considered.

Hannity also reporting that McCabe has been "begging" his superiors to not fire him before he can retire with benefits on Sunday. It sounds like if he's fired he won't get those benefits.

Hannity also says he's hearing there's a "high probability" that Sessions will appoint a second special counsel to investigate the FBI's and DOJ's behavior during and after the election, with Grassley and Graham vowing to apply as much pressure as possible to make it happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Sessions is the chief law enforcement official of the US government. He should tell Mueller to either announce what evidence he has that the Trump campaign did anything illegal in terms of 'collusion' and if he has none to call it a day.

The whole biz about demanding docs from the Trump Org sounds like an attempt to go after Trump's three adult children as a way to get to the Pres. I believe the term in legalese is extortion.

84 Hannity's been on fire for a while now. He gets a lot of hate here but the way I see it, he's "comfort food." Red meat and talking points for the base, the RW equivalent of Maddow. He can serve a purpose, especially, for me, in trying times like after Obama's election when the MFM is literally unbearable.

However, the last several months he's been must-see TV and must-hear radio for me. I watch his show every night and every morning I listen to the previous days radio show over morning coffee.

The report that Mueller is now going after the Trump businesses with a subpoena is false according to the White House. They claim they have been providing Mueller requested documents having to do with his business for months and this was just more fake news.

In the last couple of weeks my area in PA was hit by a couple of nor'easters. (Three, actually, but the third one was a fizzle.)

Anyway, there were lots of power outages due to downed trees and so forth.

One evening last week while driving home from work I saw about a half dozen electric utility trucks heading for the PA turnpike entrance. They were Chain Electric. I looked them up and saw they are based in MS, LA, and TX. They were on their way back home.

Thanks, Chain Electric! It's very cool how electric utilities assist each other in emergencies. I'm sure PECO trucks go to Florida and the Gulf Coast after hurricanes.

My grasp of the facts is limited, but I think the bridge was bought, used, from some other city, and flanged up to some locally-built pylons. Maybe somebody measured wrong, and the pylons were spaced too far apart to properly support the span.
They are going to have to bring in engineers from out of State, who have no connections to the job, or the source of the bridge, to do the failure analysis.

They built it from scratch on site off to the side of the roadway. Last weekend they closed the roadway and hoisted the bridge into place. They were doing stress tests this morning it is reported.

255 McCabe will get a pension, barring criminal charges. You need to have 5 years of service to be eligible for a pension, what might change is when he can take it. For instance (note this is the current non law enforcement rules, FBI might be a little different) you can retire with 5 years of service if you are 65, or at 60 with 20 years, or any age with 30 years. (I think the years vary with law enforcement some). So he may be trying to get his 20 years so he can take an immediate retirement, if he does not get 20 years, he may have to wait until he is 60 or 65 to file.
