Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Lawyer Who Served as Christopher Steele's Back-Channel to Senator Mark Warner Reveals His Belief That Steele Was Being Funded by George Soros and Silicon Valley Tech BillionairesAn American lawyer who served as a back channel between dossier author Christopher Steele and Democratic Sen. Mark Warner is opening up about explosive testimony he gave to a Senate committee late last year. Adam Waldman said that during an appearance before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) on Nov. 3, he relayed information about possible links between billionaire activist George Soros and Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the dossier. Waldman said he received the information in a March 16 meeting he had with Daniel J. Jones, a consultant and former staffer to California Sen. Dianne Feinstein. Waldman told The Daily Caller News Foundation that Jones asserted that he was working with Fusion GPS and that the research firm was being funded by a "group of Silicon Valley billionaires and George Soros." Jones also described Fusion as "shadow media organization helping the government." ... Reached by phone, Fusion GPS attorney Josh Levy declined comment on Waldman's testimony about Jones and Soros connections to the firm, saying "I'm not commenting for your story."Don't expect much comment on this story from the cucks -- they're too busy spinning new conspiracy theories. Something like this, with an on-the-record source talking about his under-oath Senate testimony? It's not vague and gauzy enough to permit the speculative conspiracy theories the #SmartSet (citation needed) indulges in. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

WASHINGTON - The FBI's Office of Professional Responsibility has recommended the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who remains on the payroll - a move that could put the veteran official's pension at risk, according to officials familiar with the process.
The recommendation is now before Attorney General Jeff Sessions. OPR has already determined that McCabe should be fired and it's now up to Sessions whether to reverse that recommendation or to accept it. McCabe is due to retire this weekend. If Sessions were to fire him before then, it would place McCabe's federal pension at risk. ORLY!?!? Jeff Sessions has a chance to earn JackStraw a bottle of Scotch here. DO. IT. According to Bloomberg, Tesla's corporate treasurer and vice president of finance, Susan Repo, quit to become the CFO of another company, just days after Chief Accounting Officer Eric Branderiz parted ways for personal reasons last week, the company disclosed. ...The departure of Tesla's former CFO Jason Wheeler in April of last year launched an avalanche of executive departures from ridiculously cash burning automaker. Since then, other prominent management departures reported by Bloomberg and others have included Lyndon and Peter Rive, Musk's cousins who had joined him in co-founding SolarCity; Chris Lattner, an Apple hire who left after leading Tesla's Autopilot engineering team for less than six months; Kurt Kelty, a longtime battery executive; and Diarmuid O'Connell, vice president of business development. One day she was showing some other cashiers her new naval piercing. Then it was an eyebrow. Then came the ear gauges. Then the tattoos started showing up. Random tats all over her with no planning or forethought whatsoever. Saw her in the store shopping once in shorts and she's covered in them. Face full of metal (and G-d knows where else.) Why would Tides or Bloomberg's Nati Gun group be afraid to hire McCabe? He would not only be hired by groups like that but welcomed as a hero. With a $375k a year salary. --------------------- Because they would become an accessory after the fact and could easily be charged with Obstruction of Justice. What makes no sense is why would anyone hire him? He is going to be under prosecution and a tad busy trying to stay out of jail and faced with either cooperating and reducing his sentence a little or going YOLO and risking a long stretch in prison. There is no reason to hire him because he is beyond damaged goods and anyone who did would get an employee who wouldn't be able to do any work and one under federal indictment and the biggest spotlight in the country. Soros made his billions mostly in the so called "free market", which is stocks and bonds at one level, but derivatives (a quadrillion $ of shadow deals) and highly leveraged currency markets at another.
All that is above the normal "invisible hand" of the fairy tale "free market". (and with Soros, he brags of being actively involved in governments to push his investments up or down) But even at the more pedestrian level, Amazon managed to lose money on every sale in order to gain market share ... for nearly 20 years. That is not the invisible consumer hand ... that is manipulated easy money via fed policy, enabling a market bubble and momentum stocks to drive more honest "capitalists" out of business. Senator Murray is one of those dotcom multi-millionaires ... Mark Cuban also iirc. These are distortions due to easy money policy, not based on the invisible hand or sound business, but by fed policy. Bushies and Saudi agreements are a whole nuther ball of wax, and oil. Kill Anwar and pipelines, but go to war for the Saudis? And congress can trade off insider info ... but Martha Stewart went to prison for lying to the FBI about not committing such a crime. Manipulated markets/laws to accommodate corrupt oligarchs ... that is at the root, much more than jihadists. Posted by: illiniwek at March 14, 2018 03:49 PM (bT8Z4) 312

329 >>Received two complements on my NRA hat this morning while getting coffee. :-) I need to start wearing mine more often. If not to just piss the ever loving hell out of my neighbor. Posted by: Under Fire at March 14, 2018 03:54 PM (r9UYA) --------- I purchased NRA plates for my car to piss of my neighbor. It worked, because they moved away. I think that at this point it may be a lot easier and less stress on the nerves to point out who in government is honest and law abiding.

that may be ... I'm going by old memory that Murray got her money from the dotcom thing, decided to spend some to become a (leftist nutty) Senator. I could be wrong ... sometimes those old memories were only based on "fake news". ha Posted by: illiniwek at March 14, 2018 04:04 PM (bT8Z4) 342
I think Donny Two Scoops is going to get people used to the fact that he fires people.
He just got warmed up yesterday. Posted by: Minuteman at March 14, 2018 04:05 PM (A3b6q) Posted by: Grump928(C) at March 14, 2018 04:06 PM (QQ+il) 344
@104 "It'd be easier for those people just to wear sandwich board signs that say "I'm from the left half of the bell curve. Don't hire me for anything above a menial position, and even then, watch me like a hawk."
They already do, when their resumes are full of SJW causes, x-Studies majors and "internships" with "community organizing" groups. Right to the special filing cabinet with a plastic liner they go... Posted by: xnycpeasant at March 14, 2018 04:45 PM (FLifI) 345

Here we are. Rapidly mounting evidence that the upper echelons of the Democrat party actively worked to spy on candidate Trump, et al, using a foreign organization using manufactured lies.
There appears to be strong operative ties between Hillary's Obama's organizations and their operatives within the US government and in foreign lands. Now Soros and the Silicon Valley power/money structure appears to be involved as well - to no one's surprise. The big picture is that there is a powerful, virulent anti-American movement in the US that is rooted in the Democrat party and their corrupt funding sources and activists within government and elsewhere. The Republican party should be using any and every Constitutional means to get to the stinking leftist roots of it all - but they are instead displaying craven cowardice and what increasingly seems to be collusion with the anti-American movement. Let's be honest: Given the corruption of the US government, the upper echelons of the GOP still profit personally (money and power) if the Left takes over and completes their open-borders, anti-gun, PC-racist, PC-bigot fundamental transformation of America. They just continue to their ruse of the being the "opposition party" to the Anti-American Party. Posted by: DrDean at March 15, 2018 11:11 AM (KiUxL) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0677 seconds. |
