Illegal Alien: ICE Targeted Me for Deportation for Standing Up for the Rights of Known Illegal Aliens, Such as Myself

Really.

Today's class of criminals believes that getting their names into the press and getting publicity as criminals renders them invisible to the police.

This must be one of those genius illegal aliens who's about to start a tech company that will be worth literally dozens of dollars.

No. They believe it makes them invincible to the police. That the police will not dare to touch them once they are in the public eye. That the media is more powerful that the police, so the answer is to get the protection of the media.

63 Grump is right, and many have noted this since forever.

The politics, and the mechanics/legalities, of dramatically improving rule of law WRT immigration are about the best/easiest combo seen in generations.

Enforcing existing law, normally, all by itself, would constitute a sea change of the sort that has been popular with Americans for many years.

One glaring gap in the administration's enforcement - which will have more impact than anything else it does without benefit of any new laws or even funding - is workplace enforcement. There have been hints and nibbles. But it's the largest, most impact-efficient, low-hanging fruit out there (you won't need SWAT modalities for most workplace enforcements).

Exactly. I get their sense of betrayal and anger. For their whole lives, the nation has acted like they're not just welcome but encouraged. This is on the scum that came before, politicians and activists and businessmen exploiting people for their gain.

But that doesn't somehow mean we should keep the policy up. I mean, if its wrong or illegal or a bad idea, then it should stop no matter how many sadz some people get.

Yeah, I know a bunch of dairy farmers in the area. They do not deliberately hire illegals; they'll require ID and proof and all that. But... they know. They know that Guillermo Torez isn't here legally and just has fake papers. And ICE does lean on them, some guys get checked yearly. Someone help me out here - clearly an EO could be blocked, if it's unconstitutional or has statutory problems. But how in the F can a court have any say over EOs that amend or repeal other EOs? Is there any previous example of this?

If not, yet another new advance in judicial lawlessness can be celebrated. And, of course, having no idea what else it can do, the administration will comply, without challenging yet another judicial usurpation, so - another failure to uphold the oath of office.

They rammed through Obamacare instead.

This is what everybody bemoaning Trump's actions needs to hear, every time they speak of the need for 'Comprehensive Immigration Reform'.

101 Just about every day there's another sob story complete with little sad kids showing some upstanding citizen being deported. They never, ever mention his crimes in the headlines, its always so sad the man is being ripped from his home by heartless jackbooted thugs in front of his weeping family.

Oh, and he was a cocaine dealer who was jailed 3 times for sexual assault and robbery. 6 paragraphs in, if at all.

Dude, just about everyone who gets arrested has sobbing family that will miss him, when he's in San Quentin for multiple rapes and all those bodies buried in the basement. The story is not his sad eyed kids, its his MULTIPLE CRIMES.

The Bishops let them use the term "Catholic" which means they approve.

Many of them don't approve, but the Church isn't exactly a democracy, nor a republic.

The problem is the proggie (and homosexual, but I repeat myself) Bishops appointed by JPII, who apparently wasn't paying much attention, and their follow-ons, who couldn't give two fat rats' asses about things like national sovereignty, except when it benefits them personally.

This puts the rank and file (laity) in a tight spot.

But nothing in Church teaching requires us to listen to the Bishops in matters outside of faith and morals, nor does it require us to send money to Catholic Charities.

And many of us don't.

Is it still part of the Catholic church though? I thought, like a
lot of the "religious" charities, that they are a separate organization
without church oversight. I'm not Catholic and don't know.

I think a lot of the problem is immigration gets mixed in with all
of the other functions of the charity and people get conflicted.

210 Ignoramus, Kennedy doesn't need to backtrack (given his intellectual level and arrogance, not gonna happen anyway), he needs to disappear, and that of course is just the beginning.

The judiciary has left the other branches no option except repudiation. That act would be a start on restoring constitutional balance and rule of law. But everyone is too cowardly, nobody is responsible enough, to act.

Even the less dim and insane "jurists" fret about provoking exactly this. See Roberts (spit) in his dissent from Kennedy's literally comical idiocy in Hamdan (where he proclaims up to be down, and usurps the treaty power) - he was whining about the threat to the entire const. system. Of course while particularly absurd, Hamdan was merely a continuation of arbitrary and lawless court behavior stretching back decades.

No point in worrying about it, it's clear nothing will ever be done. The country as a whole doesn't understand or care a bit about the constitution or rule of law, that unique American legacy lies in the rear-view mirror.

It isn't only a white people thing. It's an American thing. Look at the black and hispanic population. Black folk have been steady at around 10-12% of the population for at least 70 years. Virtually no growth at all. Hispanics have gone from less than 1% to over 16% in the same period. That's all from immigration, most of it is likely illegals.

The country is being stolen from black folks too, and they're probably suffering more injury from that theft than White America.

Ugh. Does not bode well.

One local Presbyterian church had a vote to leave the PCUSA. Came down around 52-48 for staying. That church is in shambles financially. Never good when a church closes.

Another church had a vote 128-3 IIRC to leave. They stand a chance.

Yes, the North (and South?) American Jesuits were taken over by the Commies a long time ago. I understand that the European ones are okay though.

Back when I lived down in Pahrump, NV in the late 90's, the Las Vegas Journal Review had an article on illegals. Said that a good many of them come up here, work under the table for cash, send a good sized chunk of that money back south, buy a nice home, buy nice cars and trucks, jewelry and clothes, then go back home for Christmas to show off their newly stolen wealth. Those that agreed to be interviewed said that they have no intention of assimilating and plan on retiring to Mexico.

Posted by: Lizzy at February 13, 2018 06:25 PM (W+vEI)

I've thought about that, but think of the difficulty it would entail. Make the withholding tax for sums less than, say, $50,000, so as not to inconvenience businesses. Now Jose isn't going to be sending $50,000. What to do? Pool their money to get to $50,000? They'd have to all trust each other, and the temptation to rip each other off would be enormous.

Send the money to another country, and thence to Mexico? Pain in the ass. To whom would you send it in the other country? Whom could you trust?

Smuggle currency across the border? Maybe, but once again, trust is the issue. Illegals won't want to keep crossing over - it's too risky. So they'd have to trust a legal alien (or an Anglo) to do it, and hope that they don't get ripped off.

I don't see any good way of transferring substantial sums that would not be a pain in the butt, and risky.

312 Wash. state...4 X illegal deported was recently arrested in close encounter w/state cops, resists, taken to hospital. Resists hospital staff, placed in medical induced coma....hahaha...Cops actually tell ICE they have him in hospital and can have him soon.

ICE, by policy, will not invade hospitals, schools, courts, etc. waits for cops to tell them where illegal can be taken.

When he wakes up hospital puts him out on the street.

Illegal goes to 'cousin's' house. Stabs cousin dead, cuts him up into pieces.

Now state cops have him again....this time likely for the rest of his days at $75k/year.

There are many theories, but no knowledge.

B16 retired. It has happened before, but not for about 400 years. It isn't normal.

He was a powerful reformer. He re-established the Mass, which was a monumental slap to the proggies and Jesuit hippies who hijacked the faith after Vatican II in the 1960's. For that, he became a target, and there's nothing nastier or with less to lose than a bunch of homosexual cardinals and bishops. I suspect B16 was feeling his age and his mortality, and I also suspect he felt he could do more good in prayer than in trying to pacify the shitweasels.

He may have been forced out by the commies, too. Hard to say.

Either way, we are stuck with Cranky Frankie until he either strokes out in rage for the criticism being thrown his way or drops dead from sheer evil. There may be enough controversy to lead to outright insurrection at some point. Hard to predict.

Frankie is the product of identity politics, in the worst sort of way. He's "historical first," and with any luck, a historical last.

Still, as a Catholic, I am bound to pray for him and his stated intentions. WHAT I am supposed to pray about them, is not detailed in the literature.....

347 This is a good thing that came out of the DOJ last week.

Probably covered here, but worth noting again for anyone that missed it.

DOJ Announces Indictment of 36 Transnational Criminals for Cyber Crimes Worth $530 Million in Losses
...
The nine-count indictment charged the defendants for their roles in the Infraud Organization, an Internet-based criminal enterprise responsible for "the large-scale acquisition, sale, and dissemination of stolen identities, compromised debit and credit cards, personally identifiable information, financial and banking information, computer malware, and other contraband."

So far 13 individuals were arrested from the U.S., Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Kosovo and Serbia.

The indictment and arrests "mark one of the largest cyberfraud enterprise prosecutions ever undertaken by the Department of Justice," according to Acting Assistant Attorney General Cronan.

...

Using the slogan, "In Fraud We Trust," the organization "directed traffic and potential purchasers to the automated vending sites of its members, which served as online conduits to traffic in stolen means of identification, stolen financial and banking information, malware, and other illicit goods," the DOJ said.

385 Hmmm....

A Hillary donor, with drug paraphernalia 'all over' his house, has a young black male 'escort' turn up dead.

Has anyone heard a peep about this story up 'til now?

387 Dictionary definition of "dang":
Softer version of "damn". Similar to "darn". Used mostly by Southerners and Mormons.

388 @14 There was actually a book a while back that had a similar theme. Basically the king started a "Thieves Guild". As soon as someone showed up to join, they were arrested. Really cut down on the number of thieves in town. I want to say it was in "Heroics for Beginners" which was a hilarious novel.

393 377 My first apartment was equipped with an International Harvester refrigerator Posted by: Debby Doberman Schultz at February 13, 2018 06:56 PM (nWc4E)

We had an IH refrigerator when I was growing up. My parents eventually gave it to an aunt & uncle when they got married. They used it for years and eventually moved it out to their garage as a second unit. My uncle was amazed that he could still easily get parts, even when it was over 50 years old.

Yeah, I'm not necessarily wanting Menendez to resign, I'm looking for Repubs to hog the mike like Scummer does for the Dems and defend Kelly.
I swear these coward Repubs do more damage than my 2 back bencher Dem Senators.

398 They won't allow me to enjoy anything. They are having an ATP Tennis Tournament in Long Island, The NewYork Open.

A black player, Donald Young and white player Ryan Harrison had a little confrontation when they changed sides. Today I read that Donald Young accused Harrison of a racist slur during the confrontation . Harrison denies it and says that any tape will prove it. Of course Harrison has been labeled a racist already.

399 "Seems Aus is fragile because it has ancient soil. "

Well, Aus is fragile because everything except the coastlines has been desert for a couple million years, so the soil there is shit and always has been shit.

The ports are good, other than that it never was fit for anything besides kangaroos and abos.
