The case is closed, I was doing research on someone and I found personal info in a case file and I was wondering if I should warn opposing counsel as she works for the county.

My understanding is that there is no legal requirement that identifying info must be redacted, but it's something that attorney's are allowed to do at their clients request. If it's not redacted, the assumption would be that the client didn't care. And if the client DID care and DID want it redacted, then he has a personal claim to make against his attorney, but nobody else has standing to make such a complaint.
In all probability, this is a case of "too bad, so sad, too late to do anything about it now."

Being in Germany, the doors had handles, not knobs. Cat would jump and hang on the handle and dog would push the door open. Watched them do it one time.

When I was a kid my grandfather had a beautiful rose garden on the side of his house. We would put the dogs out there when we would visit.
It had a picket fence with a gate with one of those latches you push down and then swing the gate open. The gate was spring loaded so you had to hold it open.
I watched our mutt jump up and push the latch and then push and hold the gate open and let the 2 Goldens out before following them out.

Think it would be hard to calculate all of the hidden costs because as VDH detailed in several "Two Californias" columns a few years ago, the CA authorities simply don't pursue illegals for all the various illegalities because they know the bills/fines/court dates will be shrugged off. Why bother giving a ticket to a driver who will disappear? Why fine a taco truck vendor for dumping cooking oil in a field or do not collecting sales tax if he'll disappear? Same for trash dumping, breaking CA building code w/crazy wiring on a shack, and on and on....

They sucked up all the school resources and any money that might have been available for other programs for all the kids (like, say, learning a Foreign language). It doesn't take much to get the basics for cooking and since these things last almost forever most kids get hand-me-downs from mom and dad. Before I retired I'd, on my day off, fix a big meal, portion it out into plastic covered TV-dinner style trays and freeze them for microwaving at work for dinner each day.
Now retired, I cook most every meal at home. For the two of us it runs about $10-12 per day and we eat good things.
Our eat-out goto is Little Caesars "extra-most-best" medium pepperoni pizza which costs $6 and is more than we can eat so leftovers for the next day. Usually I get that on days when we have to be out and don't get much time to cook. Tomorrow will be one of those days

I know it can be difficult if you are having a bad day in retail. And if I had come up and screeched at the girl, that would have been an understandable, if not appropriate response. But I didn't. We were kind, smiled, and asked how her day was going, and she said that.
But...after typing my grumble, I sat back and decided to pray for her, because she obviously was having some kind of trouble, and needs help-whether managerial, spiritual or otherwise.
I don't really hate millenials, but I do think the 90's era thinking on child raising has unleashed a group of kids who had difficulty being adults. So I still blame their parents, but I will stop being a nasty person myself, and just wish the best for them.

I loathe my job. I loathe most of the people I work with. I'm in a bad mood eight hours a day. Getting up and having to go to work ruins my day. But you know what? I don't treat our patients and anyone else I come in contact with like shit or say idiotic things to them. Because I was brought up right. And I don't want people to think I'm an asshole. It's called "pride."
I don't care if donut girl's manager just teamed her a new ass. She shouldn't be saying shit to customers about their weight. Had I been the manager, she would have been fired.

We went to Giant, which was next door, and they had actual panckis!!!! Made by sweet Polish ladies in Cincinnati!!! So Giant got our business, we got exactly what we wanted, and they were nice to us. Plus I know these giant doughballs filled with raspberry jelly were blessed by a local priest, because that's what the priests in Poland do on Fat Tuesday-bless the panckis before they are sold, because they bring blessings in the new year. So, all around better.

Imagine you have 1,000 openings for carpenters. If there are 500 Americans and no immigrants salaries will be high as there are more people looking to hire carpenters then people that can do the job - so the job seekers can be picky.
If you add 1,000 immigrant carpenters who are used to a lower standard of living, they will likely price out almost all of the American carpenters.
Now there is an indirect argument that by taking lower paid rolls, the immigrants lesson the cost of carpentry and therefore create more openings for jobs otherwise restricted by the cost of carpentry - architects, wood cutters, etc.
If (real) unemployment is low that ends up being a positive in the long term - this note is the scenario America had when settling the west.
If (real) unemployment is high, however, as it is now, those immigrants just replace an American who likely cannot get another job. And since we have a comprehensive safety net most of those unemployed Americans go on public assistance.
So in the current real world the primary affect of immigration is to lower salaries and increase welfare expenditures, so the only people "helped" are the upper class and government workers. Not surprisingly both of those groups favor increases in immigration.

They also lower the overall IQ of the schools they inhabit and increase quality of life problems in all neighborhoods they inhabit - to the nth degree, don't pay taxes in any appreciable quantity and take entry level low skilled jobs away from poor people, mostly in inner cities.
I don't mid having a debate with any jackwad who tries to trot out these numbers because my answer is always: " Where did that number come from?" The answer is usually - "Umm CNN said it?" or "Umm someone on Facebook sent it to me?" I then state - "well its an outright fabrication, pure propaganda. The net affect of illegals is a drain on the National economy of somewhere estimated to be over $1oo Billion (with a "B") a year based on actual studies, based on reputable statistics, that have been done. Assuming the current population of illegals stays static ( hint - if we do "amnesty" it won't") then the net negative effect, just in taxes and services, equates to roughly $746 Billion wasted over the lifetimes of all current illegal aliens. Did she think this would make people not suspect anything, when in fact it's a discoverable item that basically confirms that the meeting happened? And does it not speak to the state of mind on the part of Rice that she had to somehow leave a trail that she was not aware of any crimes being committed in the meeting? Why would she do this? Is not the the secret meeting itself a crime of obstruction or collusion ( a little winky here)?
