The Morning Report 2/8/18

traitors.jpg

Good morning kids. Thursday's here and with yesterday's release of Senator Charles Grassley's memo comes confirmation of what Devin Nunes' memo states as well as the explosion of any sort of defense/counter-message from Schiff-for-Brains, the boob. But a mix of feelings from sadness and grief to disgust and anger just washed over me, as if slapped upside the head with a two-by-four in the form of Grace Slick's lyrics: "when the truth is found, to be lies." How ironic that this Leftist pearl of logic that drove the insanity of the counter-culture so accurately encapsulates what the inheritors of the counter-culture did to our institutions. Meh, maybe I'm being overly generous and looking at things through my Efram Zimbalist-tinted X-Ray Spex, but one has to be blind or ignorant (and thanks to the Media's efforts too many still are, but not like before, thankfully) to not see that the institutions and agencies we have always believed are there to keep us safe and to uphold the rule of a just and stable law are themselves criminal enterprises there to preserve, protect and defend themselves, their chosen members and their mission to rule over us by any and every means necessary.

Hence, the graphic above. Robert Hanssen is rotting away in a Colorado supermax, and deservedly so, for passing secrets to the Soviets and then the Russians for a measly $1.4 million. If only he had decided to sell America down the river to a group of people who are perhaps even more dangerous than the Soviets, he'd be walking the streets today. In fact, it's a fair bet he'd be in one of the top slots within the corporation, maybe the big cheese. And that group? The Democrat-Left Deep State. I have to think that in spite of everything that is now coming to light, is Comey, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Rosenstein and even Mueller himself ever going to share a cell with Robert Hanssen? Hell, will they even be charged? Dear Lord, one of Comey's flunkies resigned from the FBI on Friday and by Sunday night he signed a deal with CNN to be an on-air analyst.

So given all of that, I have to ask, who did more damage to this country: Robert Hanssen or Comey & Company? I don't think there's any doubt in my mind that given all the facts, the answer is a no-brainer. It is time to abolish the FBI. And not just because of this but for a very long train of abuses that go back decades. And you can probably dump most of the Department of Justice along with it. The more centralized and concentrated power becomes, both institutionally as well as geographically, the more dangerous to our freedom and the rule of law those entrusted with that power become. And when I say Comey & Company, I mean the Democrat Party, the Leftist movement in general and those at the very top of that food chain.

Several links at the top dealing with this but let's move on. Speaking of crooks and thieves, I'm so farcharded I don' know anymore if the budget that was passed was a temporary spending bill or what. I think there was a CR but I also think that McConnell and Schemer shook hands on a two-year deal which, not coincidentally, locks out a lot of the President's spending priorities, or so I am told. Meh, maybe he'll veto it. Meanwhile, Palsi Pelosi went on an 8-hour yammer about evil and conspiracies and such sounding more like a schizophrenic bag-lady yelling at the passersby in front of Grand Central Station. Naturally, she defended illegal alien criminals as paragons of virtue while damning the American citizenry. I wish her the endurance to keep on flapping her gums - - all the way through next November. In a related note, despite some Democrats wishing that old bat would STFU and STFD, three of her fellow tyrant-wannabes tried outdoing each other in the anti-American ranting department with an eye towards being the one the DNC installs to go up against PDT in 2020, their own base be damned.

From hither and yon, revenues from Tax Reform are already flooding in, a California judge in a flash of sanity ruled in favor of a baker refusing to bake a homo wedding cake while Stockton is seriously mulling universal income for its residents and the state is moving to block the shipment of coal and oil through its territory. How many divisions does Moonbeam have?

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

Yes, it's difficult to understand why Rosenstein is still employed by the U.S. government in any capacity. His conduct in the FISA affair was highly unethical and likely illegal, so why is he still in his job? For all we know, he could be destroying evidence of even worse crimes by him and his crooked Clinton-loving cronies at the DOJ.

He should have been fired long ago. And he still should be fired and criminally prosecuted.

As Americans, to face what's really been happening in the highest levels of our gov't, with a "media" so far removed from its actual job in reporting the truth that there's nothing to distinguish it from the ones doing the corruption as they work hand in hand toward abolishing all sense of right and good, and with an academic system so polluted with Marxism that little boys wonder if they should be little girls and tradition is routinely upended in the quest to transform normalcy into something that would be outlawed if they had their way, along with an R Congress that, for the most part, has no interest in saving this country from the ravages of gov't healthcare, debt and illegal aliens...I just have kind of a bleak outlook this morning. Isn't that the damned truth. One example that always stuck in my memory was from a movie that came out back in the '80s called "WarGames", about some kid who managed to dial into a NORAD computer and almost started WW III. The whole concept was utter BS on so many levels, yet you would not believe how many news programs ran back then after the movie came out with people all upset that maybe some kid with a desktop computer and a modem could somehow start a nuclear war. Never ceased to amaze me how these people could be so incredibly ignorant and just plain stupid.

"Scientists believe that radiation will tear the car into pieces within a year."

A couple year human trip to Mars and back? Sounds like a death sentence.

The Tesla is a lot of upholstery, plastic, fiberglass, and etc. Radiation will eat that to bits, also the paint, and heating and cooling stress will probably deform the remaining sheetmetal.

A spacecraft would be differently designed, but, yes, radiation is one of the concerns in long-term space travel.

I don't know why she didn't respond accordingly unless she thought that dense bint would know that, which was a huge mistake. Or maybe she did and they edited it out. Either way, executives are too fucking busy, except for fuckups like Cock Curious, to waste time on newspapers unless they choose to do so in their spare time.

Posted by: Mr. Peebles at February 08, 2018 07:54 AM (oVJmc)

Yes. Someone needs to get on the stick and develop a better propulsion system, something that will get your spacecraft to Mars or wherever QUICKLY, in a month or so, not six or eight. There are a number of possibilities, none of which violate the laws of physics, yet all of them require a hefty (read nuclear) power source, which scares the hell out of the usual suspects, because they are afraid the usual Commie d-bags will start screaming about "nukes in orbit" or what have you.

A damned shame, because with, say, a nuclear pumped VASIMIR drive (to cite one example) the Solar System would be ours. We literally could get to Mars in a month, which pretty much solves all your "long duration spaceflight" problems, including radiation.

230 When you think about it carefully, that story about NBC running 8 month old claims about supposed Russian interference is *very* good news for us. The reason: all of us who have been watching the increasing daily recounting of evildoing on the part of the dems have been waiting for their counterattack - in the past, anytime Trump showed a bit of a surge they would go all in with some new attack, some new "revelation". It is logical to assume that they're desperate to do the same thing now.

And yet, the best they can do is to recycle some story that they already ran 8 months ago, and which has already been debunked. As Trump would say - SAD! And it confirms what I and many have been saying - they got nothing. They screwed up, they threw everything they had, everything they can keep of at him and now they got nothing. So what do you do when you got nothing? You go on autopilot, you shriek RAYCISS!!! and ALT RIGHT! And TRUMP HATES JEWS! ooops scractch that - the whole Jerusalem thing messed that line up -TRUMP LIKES JEWS TOO MUCH!!! that's the ticket, yeah.

Or even when there is an American, such as the shooting sports. They'll air those competitions at 3:00am, and even when the American medals it's as if it never happened.

Here's the thing, I like to see the Americans compete even if they're not a medal contender. Just include him/her in the coverage, they don't have to be the focus if not competitive. It's nice to see the hometown/home state kids perform even if they're not winning. But there's no time for that because they're too busy with the personal stories segments.

240 >>>>Yes. Someone needs to get on the stick and develop a better propulsion
system, something that will get your spacecraft to Mars or wherever
QUICKLY, in a month or so, not six or eight. There are a number of
possibilities, none of which violate the laws of physics, yet all of
them require a hefty (read nuclear) power source, which scares the hell
out of the usual suspects, because they are afraid the usual Commie
d-bags will start screaming about "nukes in orbit" or what have you.

A damned shame, because with, say, a nuclear pumped VASIMIR drive
(to cite one example) the Solar System would be ours. We literally
could get to Mars in a month, which pretty much solves all your "long
duration spaceflight" problems, including radiation.
.
.
.There are already plenty of drive prototypes and theories out there that could cut the trip to Mars from years to months. Problem is no one is going to spend the huge amount of $$$$ to build and test all of them to find out which one(s) would actually work.

For a year and a half the media has been telling us with confidence that Trump colluded with Putin to rig the election. They did this despite not having a shred of evidence.

Yesterday we got a pretty strong piece of evidence that Obama was actually involved with conspirators in our government, some who have already lost their jobs over their corruption, to either whitewash the Hillary email investigation or help frame Trump with the phony Russia charge or both. And we get mostly crickets.

I think they are more than aware of the the fact that when they build their case against Hillary and Obama and all the others they have to have a bullet proof case that can't be ignored or it will be.

They finally built the damn thing (Falcon Heavy), and it had to be test flown, but no one was going to put a payload on it that was worth anything. What NASA used to do back in the day was put what they called a "boilerplate" spacecraft on top of some rocket they were testing, so if they made another BFRC they were not really out anything. Launching a car into solar orbit, as was done in this case, was no different. At least it shows Musk has a sense of humor.

Two things: a friend and I were talking about this DoD sole source award to a one man company for $7M and we both are pretty well versed in how these things work and well "something ain't right in Denmark." Our take is that both the Contracting Officer and the vendor will both be put through the wringer, contract cancelled and the contracting officer reprimanded/punished (aka certifications revoked, most certainly charges related to unauthorized awarding of contract, etc) and vendor unable to bid on any future DoD/Non-DoD federal contracts.

Two: That Stockton CA thing will work out just fine until they run out of other peoples $$. Why or why do imbecile's continue to be put in position of decision making is beyond on me but good on'em. Maybe someone in Stockton with a little sense can step up and call BS to that non-sense but I somehow doubt it. Keep fucking that chicken idiots.

I'm anything but an Elon fanboi, but he did develop these rockets on his own dime for the most part. (Lets face it, he's got more money than God, so he could afford it.) Now, he was able to cut a deal with the government so as to bypass most of the FARs (Federal Acquisition Regulations) so as to do a lot of those cargo launches cheaper than the legacy contractors like ULA. But I guaran-goddam-tee you that sooner or later that deal is going to run out, if it hasn't already, and he will not be able to launch those payloads as cheaply as he had been, and he WILL end up in the same boat as ULA vis a vis the FARs. I think that is a major reason why he and his crew have worked so hard to recover as much of their rockets as possible. It's certainly cheaper to be able to reuse a rocket rather than the classic use-once-and-dump-it-in-the-drink method of yore, so he does have that going for him.

Exactly. There is no game of 12 dimensional space alien chess happening with Sessions. Menendez will not be retried (and will easily win re-election). Lois Lerner and her ilk at IRS are off the hook, and in all fairness, Miller and Trump are running the immigration debate by themselves (sanctuary cities are not being defunded, and I have no sanguine belief that Sessions is pushing ICE. Nobody seems to be pushing e-verify) Sessions did not need to effectively recuse himself from the Menendez or Lerner crimes. He has.

As for Gowdy saying fuck all to the House, he could probably tolerate producing show trials when he could say "Obama and Lynch will not prosecute), but to do more investigations and grill witnesses when your own AG is doing shit becomes intolerable and really makes him see the futility.

No, JJ. As I said, the trick Musk was able to pull off was to get out from under the FARs for a while at least, which saved him a lot of money. He'd already developed the rocket (Falcon 9) on his own dime, and they all knew it worked (well, most of the time). This allowed him to do launches for the Feds at a lower cost than other outfits like ULA, who still had the FARs to contend with. For a while. As I said, sooner or later those FARs are going to come back down on SpaceX, if they haven't already. But no, there were no "subsidies" per se.

I know exactly what he's done on the Russia investigation. What I'm saying is that a lot of people have jumped to wrong conclusions about who is and who isn't a good guy in this whole mess and perhaps it would be worth watching what happens before constantly insisting Sessions is lazy or stupid or corrupt when this investigation is producing amazing results so far.

He is NOT recused from Uranium One or any other investigation. I don't know where you get your information but that is false.

And if you just look at the DOJ.gov site from time to time you would know that he isn't just sitting around doing nothing.

Constantly harping on Sessions is a sideshow. He rightfully recused himself because he was a very large potential target of the investigation which is why he was interviewed by Mueller.

If he had stayed all we would have heard from the media was that it was a corrupt investigation because Sessions was overseeing it. By recusing, he removed that weapon.

Relax and enjoy the show. Or be furious about something that doesn't matter. The investigation got another big scalp yesterday at the DOJ and there are more to come.

And that's why it has got to be punished. But to your point, I think minimally one third to perhaps one half of this nation is, to one degree or another, uninformed to brainwashed as to what this nation is supposed to be and represent, so really putting the screws to the insurrectionists and criminals could touch off an unintended, and perhaps violent reaction.

466 One of the reasons a Watergate burglary outraged more in the 1970s than political surveillance by the State today is that the very notion of privacy is now on life-support.

Today, most millenials and too many others simply shrug their shoulders at the idea or expectation of privacy: assuming God Google is storing all their browser history, Twitter is compiling all their tweets, Facebook is databasing all their friends and posts. Most today assume they're surveilled by cameras every waking hour out of the house, accustomed to having their license plates photographed at bridges and their luggage and laptops searched at airports, etc etc etc.

In other words, the sheeples are a good deal more docile today than in 1972.

Oh, good morning everyone.

Let me just mention an odd incident about two decades ago. We had just moved into a house on the crest of a hill. The winds were strong enough to blow closed doors open and tear the moldings off. I wondered if old cast-iron piggy banks might be heavy enough to hold the doors in position.

I went to some auction site, probably ebay, and typed in some version of "cast-iron piggy banks," and was taken immediately to a DOD site, world map, installations highlighted. I left immediately, shaken. Tried again, was taken there again. Waited an hour, tried again. This time I was taken to antique stores that sold piggy banks.

They caught it fast. But it did happen.

477 It's a slippery slope and if this continues, we may never have a functioning Government again. Banana Republic time

Can you define functioning?

What makes you think we had one?

478 After reading the Wikipedia article about Robert Hanssen I'm not a bit surprised at the corruption within the FBI. It is filled with incompetents and time-serving deadwood.

479 I think we now see why those in power on the left have shown the kind of passionate hysteria we have seen regarding Trump. They didn't just lose an election. They lost their cover.

Trump is the absolute worst case scenario for them. You think a Jeb Bush or John Kasich or Marco Rubio would have scared them? Please.

The corruption and lawbreaking of the Obama years is stunning. Nothing less than the future of US government is at stake in how (or if) these criminals are dealt with.

480 Constantly harping on Sessions is a sideshow.

But folks here enjoy it so!

Do you believe he could have truncated some of this crap by ordering the DOJ to comply with the House Oversight Committee?

481 480: he's said nothing about that either, the FBI is part of the DOJ, but both the DOJ and the FBI would like to act as co-equal branches of government while Sessions focuses on reefer madness

484 "POTUS wants to know everything we're doing."

And I want to know everything Sec. Clinton was doing.

485 For some reason, that picture of Comey reminds me of the face of a gopher. Don't like those either.
