I know no one watches this show (Glee). I don't even know if it is still on tv, but this was weird. More perversion in Hollywood.

'Glee' Star Mark Salling Dies at 35, Awaiting Sentencing on Child Porn Charges

He hung himself.

The former Glee actor Mark Salling has died in an apparent suicide by hanging, according to several reports.

Salling, 35, was found near a riverbed in Sunland-Tujunga, near where he lived. His death, TMZ reports, was caused by hanging.

His death comes weeks before the actor was scheduled to be sentenced in federal court on child pornography charges.

The actor, best known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on Fox's musical dramedy Glee, was awaiting sentencing on charges of possessing child pornography after pleading guilty to holding over 50,000 indecent images on his hard drive.

He was expected to receive between five and seven years in prison, while also forced to register as a sex offender, pay restitution and abide by restrictions on where he can live.

Last August, Salling was suspected of a suicide attempt after it emerged he had violently slit his wrists, although this claim was denied by his lawyer.

154 Most House seats are not competitive (in a partisan sense). So, number of retiring Repubs tells you, basically, nothing. District by district analysis is only meaningful discussion.

And recall Trump's second biggest - maybe biggest - problem is the GOP, not the press, not RocketMan, not former porn stars.

And there are many Repubs, incl. chairmen, whose departure could only be an improvement (assuming they're in safe districts).

Very difficult thing to conjure up, but what Trump needs more than anything is better GOPers replacing current ones, and more (useful) GOP senators. That's all that really counts about November, if your interest is in eventual policy results.

He's attacking Nunes on Twitter (because Malor is ghey for FBI guyz with gunz) and whining that chain migration is totes cool and who we are as a nation and Trump's a lying doodyhead. "

The whole stupid thing w/chain migration and DACA is that these "kids" claim to have no connection to their home country so that it would be cruel for force them to return.

But then they claim to have 10 adult brothers and sisters, a grandma, a great grandma, a married cousin and scads of nieces and nephews who they just can't live here without. So how can they credibly claim "no connection."?

(Not the same issue w/legal immigrants, of course, but we still need to limit to spouse & minor children).

The "memo" is just some highlights and conclusions based on a review of documents related to one aspect of the Mega-Scandal Swarm now engulfing the country. The "Russia!" investigation, and its origins.

I believe the Inspector General is covering both this, and the Espionage Act (not "email") scandal at Clinton's State Dept.

None of the evidence or facts discussed in the HPSCI memo are going away, or changing. Prosecutions of the wrong-doers will be based on that evidence, not the memo.

DACA is trade bait for the whole immigration enchilada (heh), as Trump outlined again last night. I'd substantially tweak the offer vs. what Trump has done, but whatever. Pretty clear nothing will happen prior to November, so we have Trump/GOP running on border security, immigration sanity, and a generous DACA deal, and the Dems running on racism, immigration lawlessness, and vitriol. Plus delved into terrible writing, forgetting characterization week by week, and moved from a nuanced weaving of music to tell the story to cramming top 40 hits in that made no sense. Bah.

The creator, Ryan Murphy, is an absolute scumbag. The President wants that expanded to every department.

I did not see the interview or quote - but I think Brit is taking the middle road here. He doesn't have to release it. But if Ds are squawking, he still can release it and redact it to ally their concerns, such as they are.

You can tell by the squealing that there's some explosive stuff in the memo. Can't wait for Sara Carter to comment on it once it's released and she can give more inside baseball info.

I've been watching Godless and looked up one of the actors.

excerpts from her BIO

She was raised by her mother to be politically progressive. When
not acting or protesting, Merritt enjoys spending time with her cat
Spooky or going to the theater with a friend. She also likes to eat
steak, have a little wine, walk in the snow and talk to Canadians.

She was conceived via a sperm donor and raised by her mother.

This week at Socialist Summer Camp we laid a mile of 10 gauge railroad track. Then a counselor ran a 50 ton loco over it destroying the road bed. next week we get to rebuild it.

The potatoes are good. If your lucky they have maggots in them,. But some are just moldy. The canteen is always empty and they never have candy bars, so no need to send $. The counselors just redistribute it anyway.

Next week there will be ice cream. But they say that every week.

407 Dear mommy,

This week at Socialist Summer Camp we laid a mile of 10 gauge railroad track. Then a counselor ran a 50 ton loco over it destroying the road bed. next week we get to rebuild it.

The potatoes are good. If your lucky they have maggots in them,. But some are just moldy. The canteen is always empty and they never have candy bars, so no need to send $. The counselors just redistribute it anyway.

Next week there will be ice cream. But they say that every week.

Love Billy

PS: send toilet paper. Thx.

Show me where I've ever said that?

And Daryl Issa won his seat by under 2,000 votes against a Democrat in 2016, so for me to say his seat is probably in trouble in 2018 seems pretty logical, doesn't it?

Sorry if reality ever comes inside your bubble from time to time.

To everyone bitching out Gowdy as not doing anything besides holding hearings, here's your answer: he's leaving Congress for exactly that reason. He's frustrated that as a Congressman, all he could do was hold hearings.

Jason Chaffetz said exactly the same thing when he first started the commentator job on Fox. He said he got tired of wasting his time, and realized how little he could do, even as a Committee Chairman.

The days of Tip O'Neill are long gone.

424 McCabe was removed because of info in the IG report, not the memo. However, bear in mind this is being said by NBC:

"FBI Director Chris Wray made clear in a message sent to all bureau employees on Monday night that Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's decision to step aside was a result of forthcoming information to be detailed in an inspector general report, according to a copy of his message obtained by NBC News.

Wray alluded to having seen aspects of the IG's report into the way the FBI handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private e-mail server."

I saw an article last week that said because of the California primary rules of the top 2 primary winners are in the final regardless of party, and that because so many Dems are running, they could so split the vote that the 2 Repubs running could be the top 2 in November.
Oh gawd what sweet irony if that were to come true.

I hope that's the case, but it wasn't last time around and Democrats are much better about managing situations like that.

Regardless, its a narrowly divided district and if an established, well funded Republican like Issa barely wins, it will be tough moving forward as California just keeps getting blue-er.
