If there's a GOP blowout in November, as I think distinctly possible, then who knows. Otherwise, you're talking about goring the most, most sacred cow of the entire Dem stable (which is bursting with dependent parasites) - federal employees. Especially with Trump (I expect, and believe) making major inroads into non-govt. labor unions (their voters), which is likely to grow as his policies unfold, AFSCME becomes the Dems' main union pillar. If it isn't, in a practical sense, already.

The "memo" is just some highlights and conclusions based on a review of documents related to one aspect of the Mega-Scandal Swarm now engulfing the country. The "Russia!" investigation, and its origins.
I believe the Inspector General is covering both this, and the Espionage Act (not "email") scandal at Clinton's State Dept.
None of the evidence or facts discussed in the HPSCI memo are going away, or changing. Prosecutions of the wrong-doers will be based on that evidence, not the memo.
DACA is trade bait for the whole immigration enchilada (heh), as Trump outlined again last night. I'd substantially tweak the offer vs. what Trump has done, but whatever. Pretty clear nothing will happen prior to November, so we have Trump/GOP running on border security, immigration sanity, and a generous DACA deal, and the Dems running on racism, immigration lawlessness, and vitriol. I like Trump/GOP's chances on this aspect of things.

I'll admit I watched the show for several seasons. Season 1 was brilliant high school satire a la Election. But then popularity hit, and it went full bore slutty SJW on the creator's pet social causes. Plus delved into terrible writing, forgetting characterization week by week, and moved from a nuanced weaving of music to tell the story to cramming top 40 hits in that made no sense. Bah.
The creator, Ryan Murphy, is an absolute scumbag. It would take someone brave to delve into his background with the actors, and see if he encouraged or even instigated some of the behaviors plaguing his former cast. Not saying the actor wasn't messed up beforehand. But Murphy strikes me as someone who would just make that worse.

Newish federal rules don't allow schools to require vaccination documents from illegals before they are enrolled either. This week at Socialist Summer Camp we laid a mile of 10 gauge railroad track. Then a counselor ran a 50 ton loco over it destroying the road bed. next week we get to rebuild it.
The potatoes are good. If your lucky they have maggots in them,. But some are just moldy. The canteen is always empty and they never have candy bars, so no need to send $. The counselors just redistribute it anyway.
Next week there will be ice cream. But they say that every week.

I saw an article last week that said because of the California primary rules of the top 2 primary winners are in the final regardless of party, and that because so many Dems are running, they could so split the vote that the 2 Repubs running could be the top 2 in November.

Regardless, its a narrowly divided district and if an established, well funded Republican like Issa barely wins, it will be tough moving forward as California just keeps getting blue-er.
