The AG isn't a comic book super hero, he's the top law enforcement officer in the country and his job is to oversee an enormous amount of agencies and investigations as well as to clean out the garbage Obama has left behind.
He's restarted the Uranium One investigation, the Hillary email investigation and the Project Casandra Hezbollah investigation while letting the OIG do his investigation while prepping the ground for what will probably be a second Special Counsel leading to a number of indictments that hopefully will roll right to the top of the numerous conspiracies mostly while almost nobody was watching.
The real world isn't an episode of CSI. It takes time to organize all these things while insuring the public is ready to both understand the scope and scale of what happened and not make it appear to be a political hit job.
And now things are starting to happen on multiple fronts. All this didn't start yesterday morning.

We won a week's stay at a really beautiful Gulf Coast beach house this spring. It sleeps ten, but I told my husband the very last thing on this earth I want is spending that week with the usual people we hang out with (one of the wives is a total bitch). IOW, McConnell is incompetent and appears interested in maintaining his own personal power over advancing any Republican agenda.
But even if that is not the case his inability to maintain a caucus of 52 means he is not the man for the job.
