The Morning Report 1/11/18

irankill.jpg

Good morning kids. Over the hump and heading to the weekend. First up, we have Dianne Feinstein explaining that her naked attempt to mitigate the damage of Glenn Simpson's testimony by leaking it was because she had a head cold and couldn't think straight. That was after she said she was pressured to release it before walking that back when she couldn't our wouldn't say by whom or what.

The decision by the President on whether or not to scrap the Iran Nuke Deal Sellout comes tomorrow and reports are that H.R McMustard and other Deep Staters in the inner circle (yes, they are there) are desperately pressuring him to stay in, along with such execrable turds as the co-author of the illegal "treaty" Bob Corker. Levin lit into him as only he can, and I have a link to it if you want to raise your BP. This bill stinks on ice on so many levels, and considering it directly funds the tyranny that is now crushing the Iranian people as well as threatening the world with terrorism, standard issue and nuclear, the only sane thing to do is to scrap it with extreme prejudice.

Moving along we have the Amnesty/Immigration battle. Tu-Ca slammed Jorge (pronounced "whore, hey") Ramos for once again playing the race card to avoid losing a debate on the merits, Daniel Greenfield with another great outing on the myth of the "Hispanic" and why the border wall means death to the Democrat party, and we have Rush confidently doubling down on his assertion that PDT's meeting with Congressional leaders was no sell-out on DACA and Amnesty, but his playing of the media to explode the myths of the Michael Wolff Book.

And then there is the fallout from the absolutely illegal ruling by a judge nullifying a Presidential executive order. We've discussed it at length in the comments yesterday across various threads and I maintain that it does present, if not a Constitutional crisis per se, then a direct threat to the proper functioning of government via a usurpation of power, and as such a threat to the rule of and respect for the law. I am of the mindset of one of the commenters who said that by going to SCOTUS to seek redress every time this happens sets up a dangerous pecking order/precedent that puts the 9th Circus above the Executive Branch. I think the President just needs to ignore this and let the 9th Circus twist in the wind.

Speaking of SCOUTS, I highlight three cases being argued that will have ramifications when the decisions come down in June. That said, we really have to address this issue where a nation of 320 million people wait for nine flawed fellow citizens to make decisions that will affect them all forever, with no way to reverse them.

From hither and yon, DeBolshevik, the tyrannical Marxist horse's ass is suing the oil companies because, cold weather and presidential run, a health club chain has cut the cord on cable news because watching it is unhealthy, Jeff Lord on the abandonment of Dr. King by the left (waiting for Talcum X to call him an Uncle Tom and demand the rescinding of the Federal holiday), some R&B singer rightly refused to kiss a transexual freak on live TV and now he will be banished to the gulag and lastly an interesting essay on the strategic importance of the other side of the Arabian Peninsula, the Red Sea.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.

46 From the WaEx link:

The Republican Party's tenuous grip on the House majority slipped Wednesday after Rep. Darrell Issa became the second California Republican this week to opt for retirement over fighting an uncertain battle for re-election.

Issa, from northern San Diego County, joined retiring Rep. Ed Royce, from historically Republican Orange County, putting two seats targeted by the Democrats further in play as they seek to erase the GOP's RNCe's 24-seat House majority.

Both of these assholes are DIABLOs and they voted with Democrats so much they will not be missed. Their CR ratings are rock bottom.

47 The combined insane tidbits from Damore's suit is this: Google - and likely other Silicon Valley tech firms - have completely blurred work and private lives; there is no real distinction. Google hosts all sorts of social media tools where employees are free to discuss whatever they want - opinions of sex, gender, politics, etc. Go for it, Googlers! And yet --- these discussions, and he opinions expressed within them, are also under HR purview. Googler can and are reported to HR - and then disciplined, even fired - for expressed opinions. Not actions, behavior, questionable job performance: their opinions. In addition (as AtC noted) they also claim that their company policies (e,g, progressive speech codes) apply to off-hours conversations, provided it is between current Googlers.

In addition, progressive mobs are allowed, even encouraged openly by executive management, to attack people who have expressed BadThink. Not just shut them out from work opportunities, but get them fired, even blacklisted in Silicon valley. They literally think Trump voters = Nazis and no level of shunning is out of bounds (that's half of the 2016 voters). This is Hillary's 'basket of deplorables' in action, in plain sight.

This sounds unbelievably illegal and completely toxic. Now, more than ever, I am leery of companies like Google having any control over my life.

50 Only read about half of the actual suit that was brought against Google but it is mind boggling how Google wants all employees to be of the Body.

Page 26 of the suit details how Google claims that all after work communications by its employees still must be compliant with Google's best practices.

Then there was the discussion of coercing someone who is conservative into thinking correctly. Apparently it backfired and the subject of said abuse got the equivalence of the "Here be dragons" stamp applied.

Google has a blackhole function. If employee A blackholes employee B for any reason, B won't even find A in the Google directory much less see any post by A.

One Google employee had a suggestion for white male cis-normative employees who do not think as Google wants them to think - fire the person, hire them back, and fire them again to get the point across.

After reading that much I came to one inescapable conclusion; Google is a very dumb wretched hive of scum and villainy.

117 Morning all.

We now have everything but a singed in blood confirmation that the FBI did use the Russia dossier to get a FISA warrant to spy, or as I still believe to justify the spying that they were already doing, on the Trump campaign and likely right into the Trump administration.

If you are interested and can handle Hannity this early in the morning please listen to this interview from last night with Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows and Sara Carter. This has been the suspicion but now it looks like it is about to go public and this is enormous.

If you can handle it to the end you will hear speculation that as I have been saying this type of warrantless spying had been going on within the FBI for years, in my belief back to the early days of the Obama administration. That's why this has taken so long to investigate, if true this is the biggest scandal in the history of US politics.

125 the wall and protecting America for Americans is really a "liberal" middle America issue, that could win the rust belt again and again (2018, 2020).

Trump agreed with Feinstein (?) in that meeting about a "clean DACA bill", but later clarified that means it would include the wall and other enforcement.

I get tired some that say Trump is so genius and is playing 5D chess and he should never be questioned, since he didn't understand what has been meant by "clean".

But that is not referring to JJ/Rush on this issue of whether or not Trump is just playing the media and not surrendering. That is an open issue. Coulter is clear minded in this interview I think (linked).

Best is Ann responding to whether Trump is moving to the middle with the (alleged) moved toward some amnesty. She points out Trump won "the middle" by standing for immigration COPNTROL. The elites are the globalists that are surrendering America (to grow their own wealth).

https://tinyurl.com/ybkr63nd

Possible and I may be naive but if it did go on during Bush I think it was for different reasons. Bush is far from my favorite but I don't think he would spy for political reasons, more out of some misplaced belief that it was necessary for national security.

Obama did it for political reasons and I bet it went far beyond electoral politics and was used by more than just the FBI.

168 JS,

Been saying the same thing. The FISA warrant stuff was merely used as a cover for spying that was already occurring.

I suspect the FISA was used to when they had to spread the info to other departments.

Also I think the Strzok talk of "insurance policy" was not something about opposing a President Trump but about covering up their criminality. Doing stuff like wholesale paper shredding, drive wiping, stuff we already knows the government does to cover up their base illegalities.

172 The Stellar wind program has been "wiretapping" us since shortly after 9/11/2001. William Binney helped set it up and has been a whistleblower on it for years.

I think Obama found it very useful politically, and had the wind at his back with all DC being Democrat (mostly) and also very shadowy. It kept going from bad to worse, and probably hit freakout/CYA mode when Trump surprised them and they realized many of them may be facing prison instead of island hopping luxury retirement.

JackStraw follows the investigation more closely than I do ... and there seems to be hope.

Stellar wind in on wiki, and this is Binney ... back in 2013.

But if it is true, just think about the ramifications. Again, I would urge those who are interested to read up on the FISA process and specifically the 702 and section 17 parts. These are the parts that allow the FBI to do an "about" and an "open" search of American's communications.

As was noted above, the NSA gathers pretty much all electronic communications. They have the info but it is illegal for them or other intel groups like the FBI to access stuff about Americans without a specific warrant for a specific reason. ------------

I can assure you that even in right to work states there are severe constraints on who can be fired. And many companies will consult an attorney before firing someone - and the first thing the attorney will ascertain is whether the person to be fired is part of a "protected" class - which has grown significantly larger than it once was.

---------------

These things are not easily reversed - though they should be.

Again, things are not as right to work as you may think if you have to go hire an attorney before certain firings and then deal with the EEOC shakeout that may come.

Besides many states and locals that are right to work have broad protected classes.

The only class that is safe to fire without repercussions are young, white, males.

Posted by: SH at January 11, 2018 08:13 AM (sX1BW)

246 The class action suit Damore has brought against Google cites California law on discrimination. There are a total of eight charges brought against Google.

Google in those screencaps and testimony is shown to actively discriminates against white or Asian males in their hiring practices. Some development teams had their sizes frozen until they reached 50% female. Google management actively encouraged this practice. All in the name of diversity.

So to dismiss the chances of this suit going to court is a bit premature.

This is an incredibly difficult and controversial issue. It is being argued right now in Congress with people from both sides of the aisle threatening to hold up support for reauthorization of FISA because of the inherent ability for it to be abused.

I believe that FISA is a valuable tool when used properly but it is shrouded in far too much secrecy and the bar to get warrants is far too low. Something like 99% of all FISA warrant requests are approved which is just absurd. The standard is far too low and there is almost zero transparency which is why we are where we are right now.

There has got to be more oversight on the whole process from Congress and much tighter requirements to get warrants to spy on Americans and much more reporting to the American people and what they are doing if there is going to be any trust in the system.

250 >>Problem with the Danmore suit is companies do have the right to fire you

for your opinions. As it should be. The problem is that it has become a

one-way street.

Damore's lawyer mentioned a California law that protects employees from being discriminated against based on political views.

If you look at the doc, Google has completely blurred the lines between work and private life. One's lifestyle, and all manner of social and political opinions are discussed on company hosted systems, with people openly choosing to block (hide from these systems' views) and promote/include employees based on personal opinions, such as "perpetuating gender norms." HR disciplines, and even fires people, for questioning or defending white males from being maligned on Google systems.

This is is Orwellian, when people can be fired, blackballed in the industry for simply believing in, say, traditional families, that Trump was the preferable candidate, etc.. These Google snowflake are insisting that they cannot be exposed to anyone with different opinions - even if the person is a great performer, well-behaved at work, happily works with other people; his mere existence makes them feel unsafe. How is that legal?

266 The EEOC openly admits that the courts have not ruled in favor of their sexual status ruling.

But the EEOC's sexual orientation decision may sway the courts just
the same. The commission issued a ruling similar to this week's in 2012
when it determined that gender identity bias is prohibited by Title
VII's ban on sex discrimination. Most courts that have decided
transgender issues lately have agreed with the EEOC's position or have
come to the same conclusion, McCormick says.

Congressional action would put an end to sexual orientation discrimination altogether. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would outlaw discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation (and, in recent versions, gender identity), was first introduced in 1994. Congress has considered it 10 times since then, but it has not become law.

So McCormick is FOS and so is RINO Bush.

As I said, congress had not approved this BS.

One other thing that Wretchard wrote about back when Snowden revealed NSA capabilities is how the NSA's data can be use to identify groups/networks - and their leaders - based on their electronic communications.

It's easy to focus on the individuals being spied on, or to shrug and say "eh, I'm not breaking any laws, so they're not looking at me," but that's not the whole picture. Obama probably could, and did, use NSA data to identify group membership (such as effective Tea Party orgs during 2012 campaign) - and then take out their leaders (e.g. True the Vote) to effectively cripple the entire group.

Here's his piece that describes this in detail - and it is scary.

Good morning, Muldoon!

On the first Sunday of every month, I host a dinner for my sons and their friends. Last Sunday, there were 18 millenials here. As the night was winding down, one of them came into the kitchen and asked me what happened to the book that was in the bathroom. Turns out, someone had taken it out and was reading it aloud to others in the family room.

It was a big hit!

309 One doesn't have to go all the way to Alex Jones to find very valid conspiracies, not just "theory". CFR and Bilderbergs really do meet and plan at levels that influence governments in big ways, and they seem to basically write law, along with other lobbyists.

But indeed exposing the "mob" can get one killed, or destroyed in some other fashion. The agenices punished Gibson Guitar, punished Boeing for going to a right to work state.

Five agencies showed up to harass the True the Vote woman ... they have been functioning as fascists for a long time, but media has silenced the whistleblowers of labeled them as kooks.

The internet has exposed them, so Google to the rescue ... and the other instant richest men in the world that magically all go ultra-liberal. Deep State is the big cult ... dangerous to leave it.

Why? Shocked that they would admit the obvious? Again, the very first question an attorney will ask regarding a firing is the demographic characteristics of the person being fired.

You could call up your attorney and say this person embezzeled a $1,000,000. His next question is going to be about the person's color and gender.

Well thanks. At this point I have zero doubt about what happened and why there has been so much secrecy in the counter investigations.

Revelations to the public at large about what happened are going to rock public confidence in the government and beyond and frankly most people in the middle and left won't believe Obama's administration did this until all the details are wrapped up in a tight package.

I mean this is our wildest fears come true and if things aren't presented in a comprehensive and easily explainable fashion it will be dismissed and not only will the guilty escape the punishment they deserve the corruption will continue. When you go against the king you have to kill him.

Rush's theory makes no sense. The Wolff book was tendentious garbage that even most of the left didn't believe. The man had been denounced as a liar long before Trump ever came along, and nobody is making any serious accusations based on anything in the book.

So if the book wasn't a threat to Trump (it wasn't), then why the need to distract from it? The answer is, "there isn't a need to distract from it."

Trump's performance at the meeting was due to some other reason than the book.

the litigation. The Obama administration previously supported the APRI."

We need new regulations/laws to prevent this unauthorized behavior. Make it illegal to buy groceries across county and state lines. Have the cops monitor 'border crossings' and check people's trunks. If they have groceries, hit 'em up with huge fines. If that doesn't work, think up even more new regulations/laws to enforce compliance. Easy peasy!

414 >>>Then They Came for the Frats

That's pretty scary. I wonder if it's illegal. The sodomy cakers have created a precedent where customers can make demands of the business they patronize, even if there are alternative businesses. So if a student chooses to attend Harvard, they should be allowed to make demands of Harvard, such as that they will not be discriminated against based on what organizations they belong to in their private lives.

And notice there's a huge difference between the Christian bakery and Harvard. It's the difference between "I don't care what you do in private, you can buy anything in the store, but I don't wish to participate in your immoral ceremony", and "I want to know every facet of your private life, and if there's any hint of crimethink, you will be punished". If the gay cakers won in court, it should be a cake walk (no pun intended) for Harvard students, if they brought a lawsuit against Harvard for this.

And to the extent government was not involved, big money like Soros was, which no doubt sets the tone of making these giants into liberal propaganda/spy machines.

Globalists don't really like traditional America much. The real "conspiracy theories" are things like whether the CIA is behind the drug cartels, and prefers to stir up wars to keep the government/military industrial complex trillions flowing.

.I think this time might be different. Once this is all said and done the FBI is going to near fatally damaged and that damage will become more intense the long this goes on and Sessions will have to do something about it.

When einstein leaked those GPS interview sheets she did it for two reasons, one is she wants this to be over quick because it is backfiring on the dems big time. Secondly, as noted above she wants everyone who has not testified to get their stories straight before their turn comes up so there are not more bombshells that hurt liberals.

The longer this goes on vindicates Trump and everything he has said in regards to being wire tapped and the FBI loses more credibility every day. The left isn't even reacting to his tweets about it now, they are staying silent which should be a big indicator that they know what is going to happen and have been told to keep their mouths shut.

The IG report is due this week or next and I suspect we ain't seen anything yet.

I think they will start caring when their heroes including Sally Yates, Comey and potentially Holder and Lynch and possibly the Big O are implicated.

Sally Yates wrote an opinion that specifically prohibited the OIG from doing oversight on one and only one division of the DOJ, the National Security Division (NSD).

Why? Because that is the division that approved FISA warrant requests.

Trump didn't fire Comey and Yates for their handling of Hillary emails or for refusing to enforce the travel ban although those might have been convenient targets at the time to keep the focus of the investigation, he fired them for abusing the FISA process.

497 On the subject of paying of mortgages and 800+ credit scores...

We keep enough in a brokerage account to pay off two mortgages that total over $1 million, but the interest is only 3.15% and that brokerage account made over 17% this past year. Use your money where it's most effective.

For credit cards, don't use your 800+ score to get low interest cards - you're always going to pay the balance off each month anyway. Get the cards charging 21% interest that give you the most points on every purchase. A hundred thousand points at the end of every year helps keep you out of coach while flying.

498 I've been thinking a lot about the Oprah for President thing.

Obama's election kinda of opened the genie's bottle.

His election was of a totally unaccomplished man based on what he was -

a Black guy who could talk well when on teleprompter and,

and this was important a total blank slate so people didn't know about his racism, anti-Americanism, communism/socialism, severe narcissism, cronyism, corruption, and other attributes.

Next, we got Trump a highly accomplished businessman and a celebrity for reelz. Not a phony MSM created celebrity like Obama. In fact in that regard, almost the polar opposite.

Trump's strength (which, Please DO NOT THROW AWAY, on the DACA dealio) is-

that he promised and has so far mostly delivered Value for the Customer (i.e.. the Voters)

just as a good businessman should.

So, despite all of the Media and Deep State silliness surrounding Trump -

Trump is delivering on the voters' expectations-

He is a very publicly well-known businessman going about the business of government in a business-like manner, which includes "Advertising", i.e. tweets, to deliver promised goods and services to his clients(voters).

Now to Oprah.

She's a popular well-known celebrity, who has more or less created her own showbiz empire. So, a businesswoman.

But, what is she really known for?

Giving stuff away. (You get a car and you get a car and you get a car...)

She is not known for giving clients value for their money (or vote).

She is known for Freebies! She is Momma Sugar.

Oprah is the Democrat's voting strategy writ large.

If I'm in charge everybody gets goodies! - will be a very powerful message for typical Democrat constituents.

Remember Obamaphone? Obama will pay for my rent and gasoline?

Add on the whole Woman thing, which almost got unlikable, politically clumsy, sickly Hillary! elected, plus Obama's Black voters

and you have a potentially powerful opponent to Trump in 2020.

I think it would be a real mistake to laugh at the idea of Oprah as a Democrat candidate.

Politically she would bring us the same horrible, anti-middle class, anti-America policies of Obama and Hillary!

but it would be in the guise of Smiling Mama Sugar.

Fortunately, various stories have filtered out that indicate it's not all sweetness and light and freebies behind the scenes.

If the GOP were smart (I know, I know), they would start now undermining her public persona with leaks of actual occurrences, unlike all those phony Trump leaks.

As always, we will see.

504 I have no doubt there's about to be a shit-storm in the DNA analysis business.
Start with Obama's favorite college professor, the one who the police acted stupidly to, using an Ancestry profile to "prove" that virtually no A-A's are "part Indian," and more or less mocking the many family oral histories that claim it. There's a wellspring of resentment, right there. True or not.

Add in the insultingly stupid TV ads, kilts vs lederhosen and even worse.
And, there's been a [marginally believable] tell-all expose, just one so far.

Way ahead of you. Google is a "shadow agency", which, as a putative "private sector" group, is theoretically free to do the things government is technically forbidden to do. It is to the private sector what the Deep State is to government, and they are two heads to the same coin.

Look at the rest of what the parent company Alphabet has been up to. "Self-driving cars" that are run by a computer net, removing the people's freedom of movement. Ubiquitous facial recognition, listening and recording devices (and cameras). Control over private communications by email and YouTube. Squelching alternative means of communication through Google's monopoly power (or by simply buying them out).

All co-ordinated by groups of murky membership known to include foreign nationals, especially IIRC Saudi royals.

Google. Delenda. Est.
