The main building was designed based on an image of hands coming together in a sign of unity.From the Obama Center website:
The Forum is two-story public meeting space, with one story above grade and one below ground, where people of all backgrounds can come together for programming.Yes, Obama and his henchmen in the media were pretty invested in Programming masses of people. The building is designed to look like four hands coming together and being stronger together. You know, like a bunch of sticks coming together being stronger together. The Museum building is a tower -- representing ascension, hope, and what ordinary people have the power to do together. Its design was inspired by a photo of four hands coming together.So far we have a place for "programming" and an aesthetic that symbolizes individuals coming together into a formless mass where they can feel Powerful and Alive for once in their pathetic lives. Let's see what other fascist design imperatives are baked into this ugly cake:
