To delve into it would be to expose how an incompetent Somalian was turned into a cop to celebrate DIVERSITY!!! and that would call into question the entire Democrat ideology. That's different, interesting, not your standard art that you see over and over (the "classics" for example) or the so-called art that you get (for example) by letting a chicken walk thru paint and then across a canvas, or by piling up cigarette butts in an ash tray. It's different thinking.

as far as I can tell, the Minnesota socialists are working as hard as they can to disapear that story - every cop and every agency involved is stonewalling and delaying every attempt to prosecute this, in the hope that it will go away.
To delve into it would be to expose how an incompetent Somalian was turned into a cop to celebrate DIVERSITY!!! and that would call into question the entire Democrat ideology. Can't have that, so if one innocent white women has to die unknown to guarantee their continued political success, they consider it a small price to pay. Especially since they're not paying it. Posted by: Tom Servo Only one? There is no reason to believe that the police care how many innocent people die. They are interested in avoiding prosecution and keeping their jobs. Repeating the mantra of 'officer felt he was in danger' works. Doing anything else might upset that apple cart. I just hope that those coppers involved never ever are allowed near
people again - filing and answering phones only - hopefully the shooter cop ends up in gaol. I doubt that Officer Diversity will ever even be charged. Police in the US are almost never indicted when they shoot somebody; the DAs almost always act like defense attorneys for the police in front of a Grand Jury - so they rarely return those kind of indictments. Considering how easy it is to get an indictment from a Grand Jury - since they only hear the prosecution's side of a case - the fact that police shooters are rarely indicted is pretty amazing. Can't agree with you more, but still Sessions needs to support Trump by repudiating this claim, if false. If not, then Sessions should have stepped down. >>Yea, the media in MN is in full cover mode for the libs (but I repeat myself)
This is one of the most frustrating things related to local politics/local news. In Denver the press goes out of its way to hide crime/anything negative about illegal immigrants, anything negative about legalized weed, and crime that is bad for tourism/PR. For example, about 6 years ago there was a gang that was attacking people downtown while they were leaving bars at closing time. Attacking with baseball bats, stealing wallets, purses, etc.. I wasn't until the gang started doing this in daylight - within a few blocks of the Rockies stadium - that the MSM broke the story and police announced they were ON IT!! Same thing happened about a year ago when various homeless drug groups started feuding with each other. No mention by police and local news until some guy, drugged out of his mind, went on a rampage whacking random people with a pvc pipe. Downtown workers filmed it, and all of a sudden the media and police ate ON IT!! How do you stay safe if they don't warn you of crime trends? How do you stay safe if they protect and welcome illegal alien criminals? My mom was mugged at 4:30pm on a Monday outside of an upscale mall - still don't know if this was a trend that she could have avoided if warned vs. random crime of opportunity. Posted by: Roc Ingersol at January 05, 2018 11:11 AM (pCPGh) My points are simple. We've elevated Police from a status of Citizens with temporary arrest powers to a Full-Time Extra-Constitutional Class. And, as such, like every other Empowered Class ... they'll turn that power against the Citizenry - not use it for the Citizenry. It's already happening. And, as the case of this lady from Minnesota shows ... yet again ... no amount of courtesy will protect us from the Capricious Whims of this Empowered Class. Misrepresent my ass ... the Ten and Two comments are a direct fucking lift from someone a few months ago. I won't name them out of courtesy - but I will mock their sentiment - yet again. Some of you think the Police simply won't bite YOUR ass ... because you live in the right section of town or you'll be polite or whatever. You're wrong - it's all a matter of probability and statistics at this point. Until we're willing to de-fang the Police, this is going to happen more. Not less. 286 This is the very bottleneck that Motor Mouth has been lamenting over
these last few months regarding our proposed complete conversion to a battery-powered motoring future, the question still the same: If we can refuel a gas car in somewhere between one-and-a-half and two minutes, what exactly will the bottleneck look like when the very best we can hope for in the future is a recharging time of 12 to 20 minutes? No problem....and how about the winter driving and hot desert driving on the battery's. Or am I just full of BS. Posted by: Colin at January 05, 2018 10:46 AM (6hWd1) The batteries on my Prius (don't hate, I've got a long commute) experience noticeably degraded performance in the cold. I've also read that heat has the same effect. The efficiency curve is much narrower for hybrid/battery cars and will be until battery tech improves. ------------------------------------------------------------- 50 Whatever you people did to inflict this upon us, I had no part of that. The OIG has nothing to do w Sessions, since it began prior to Trump's inauguration, and, if it has anything to do w the election behavior of DOJ/FBI it appears Sessions will not be part of any future prosecution/further investigation. Sessions told Grassley that Uranium One would be investigated by Rosenstein which was insanity, based on Rosenstein's involvement as US Attorney. I do agree that having the Little Rock FBI start a re-investigation of the Clinton Foundation is a good start, but I still bl that if Trump did ask him NOT to recuse himself and he still felt a need to do so, he should have respected Trump and stepped down as AG. Long ago, you could check out framed prints for free, from Rembrandt to Dali, from the Tacoma Public Library, hang them on your wall for a month, take them back and get some more.
I had a dream that the TPL delivered a rhinoceros out to my place on the same terms, except that I had to bring it back in a month, and I was worried that I'd incur some damage to my stock trailer, but it was fun leaning on the fence, and looking at my rhinoceros grazing in my field. In the morning, I told my wife about the dream, and she said "You're not getting a rhinoceros!" Posted by: Mike Pitzler at January 05, 2018 11:37 AM (fSf/G) 411

re: recharging electric cars
With current technology, the only thing that would provide nearly the same "refueling" time would be swapping batteries. Probably the lowest cost to electric power grid upgrades to support that would be regional recharge stations. Battery recharge would be by a service provider. Not at home. This would introduce a lot of inefficiencies. Batteries are heavy. And they would need transport each way. We would still need to build lots more power plants. So if we know the rest of Wolff's book is a pack of lying lies... Why are we buying his claim that Bannon talked smack to him about Trump and his kids?

We've elevated Police from a status of Citizens with temporary arrest powers to a Full-Time Extra-Constitutional Class. And, as such, like every other Empowered Class ... they'll turn that power against the Citizenry - not use it for the Citizenry. It's already happening. Posted by: ScoggDog at January 05, 2018 11:20 AM (upzye) Yup, yup and yup. Posted by: Insomniac - Meet the New Year, same as the old year at January 05, 2018 11:26 AM (NWiLs) I SO agree.
