New Yorker Fires Archliberal Shill Ryan Lizza For "Inappropriate Sexual Conduct"

The War on Women is coming from inside the house.

Seems like this is the sort of guy who would pretend to get offended by Romney's "binders full of women" statement while himself engaging in fireable-level "inappropriate sexual contact."

Yup, that's what I expected.

Lizza has issued his own statement, calling the New Yorker's actions a "mistake" and saying that his relationship with the woman was "respectful" and a dating situation:

Lizza is also a paid contributor for (wait for it....!) CNN. CNN says they are looking into the matter.

212 35 I am under no delusions that folks on the Right are all that pure. So I'm kinda surprised that so many of the Pervnado victims are Dems.

I'm not. Seriously. Sure I expect a few repubs to get the ax, but let's face it - they have already been vetted to the extreme for decades. The slightest misstep resulted in the boot.

Check Wikipedia -
1970s 7 Dems
1980s 7 Repubs, 6 dems,
1990s 11 repubs, 4 dems
2000s 12 repubs, 3 dems
2010s 9 Repubs, 5 dems

So there are two conclusions - Rs have more sex scandals. Or D get away with it more. I'd guess the later. R scandal might be Representative x had an affair. D scandal was more like serial harassment and even rape.

Looking at the scandals - a typical R scandal has been a lot less serious, suggesting that Dems have engaged in just as much tomfoolery, just never held accountable except in the most extreme circumstances. looking at the examples now - it isn't just a one time thing, it is a pattern with Conyers and Franken.

264 ya know, all of this accusations happened a long time ago when the rules were different.

Unless you're talking about 1963, that's not applying here.

Harvey Weinstein jacking off into a fern in front of a reporter is not according to the rules ever. Oprah Winfrey whoring out young models to Harvey was not according to the rules even 30 years ago. Its never been okay in the rule book to grab a sleeping woman's chest, leer at a camera then show her the picture later. Its never been by the rules to shove your wang down a hopeful young actor's throat on a boat.

The rules haven't changed that much.

Yeah if someone is accused of grabbing a hooter during a date, you've got a point. But has anyone done that? Is there any accusation like that? The closest we have is George Bush the elder grabbing nearby girls by the glutes. That one was okay in the 70s, but it hasn't been for a long time now, not even when he was president.

That never made sense to me at all. In fact, it made so little sense to me that I was certain no woman anywhere would be in the slightest bit influenced by it. I mean the guy was bragging about how many qualified women they had on staff and looked through for jobs.

But, at least some women on Facebook I know, said they were upset by it. I guess it doesn't have to make sense to me. Maybe some ette here can take a stab about how that could conceivably had worked.

Connected both to Weinstein (first accuser to come forward) and to Trump (her allstar performance at the pink hat march after PDT's inauguration). She couldn't stop Trump, so finally decided to go after Harvey as a surrogate for Trump.

318 Tapper is an inconsistent dude. Sometimes he can be pretty smart, other times he's blatantly just a leftist shill. He's too in the tank for the news media, so he's defensive about that, but he will call out individual reporters for ill behavior.

One thing he did right today was an event where UN Ambassador Nikki Hayley wished him a Merry Christmas.

Instantly some angry group of Christophobes screamed about how evil this is to say to a Jew. Some Jews replied that they didn't care, but Jake Tapper personally said that he was fine with it because she was just wishing him good will.

He's not all bad, sometimes he can be okay like he was when he went after Obama when nobody else would. Not very fiercely mind you, but he would.

358 Cocoa Pebbles are crap.

Chocolate Kix were pretty good as I recall. Krispies never affected the milk enough, so it wasn't a tasty chocolate milk leftover when the cereal was gone. And like rice krispies they turned into sludge in like 56 seconds so you had to fire them back really fast.

359 So Grump, you gonna make me a prophet by delivering a 16 point win for Moore manana? That's the number I picked out of the air for tomorrow.

Based on nothing more than a feeling that conventional polling is again not suited to this situation, and that the whitelash will be epic, partly due to the inundation of ads that you note.

Posted by: rhomboid at December 11, 2017 07:20 PM (QDnY+)

Can I get in on this action? I'll go with Moore to win by 6.

Then they'll turn on each other.

Oh, the women are already turning on each other.

For those who don't know, I'm female and have worked in industries filled with men. I've been in departments with only one or two women. In fact, that's the norm in my world.

That being said, hell yes, I would rather work with 10 men than 10 women. Or 20 men and zero women.

The men will tell you to your face they don't like you and then move on. The women will backstab and be mean girls. For years.

Yeah, I would've had a field day on that one.

I liked rice krispies, but not cocoa krispies, which seemed odd to me even then. I vastly preferred the Cocoa Puffs. And they had that nice powdered sugar dusting, iirc.

Did not like the cocoa krispies at all though.

373 Another way to avoid it is to not accept an invitation to somebody's hotel room, or to go to "meetings" in bars,, etc.

In fairness, women get groped in all kinds of situations, not just in hotel rooms or bars.

However, not every offense is worthy of blowing up a man's career or disqualifying him from his elected office.

It depends. For me, all my best pals that I kept after our careers parted were fun ladies who had brothers and few, if any, sisters. They just didn't GET the drama some women tried to start.

And once or twice I worked with creepy men. Not as bad as my sister, who worked in sales.

377 I just saw a fox poll claiming jones leads moore 50-40.

So once again, someone is lying, and lying big time.

For my part I notice that the fox poll had 39% disapproval for Moore, which I might believe, so put me down for:
60% Moore
39% Jones
1% People who will vote for Shelby in his next primary
