This Heroic Cat Is Doing Everything Within His Power to Fight the Demons Within

If I were a criminal profiler, I would say this cat is escalating in his fantasies, and may ultimately act on them.

But for now he's just a cute cat who wants to touch a bird.

Update: I totally posted this by accident. I was just changing the date so that I would have it handy for tonight or tomorrow night.

Ah well. It's up now.

201 Breitbart has an article reporting that a man named Jeff Devine has come forward and says that he was dating Roy Moore accuser Beverly Young-Nelson in 1977 (the year she says Moore assaulted her outside a restaurant where she worked as a waitress).

Devine has produced his own yearbook from 1977, inscribed by Young to him, attesting to their relationship. A classmate has also confirmed they were dating at that time.

Devine, who is a minister now, said that he does not believe Nelson's story about Moore. He also says that he does not remember her working as a waitress in 1977.

Moore's campaign came out with statements from several former employees and customers of the restaurant. Two of them were women who were waitresses at the restaurant in 1977, and they also don't remember Young-Nelson working there. They said the restaurant did not hire anyone who wasn't at least 16 (Young-Nelson claimed she started working there at age 15).

They also said that they did not recall ever seeing Roy Moore eating in the restaurant. A deputy sheriff who was a regular restaurant customer in the 1970's and who knew Roy Moore, also said that he never saw Moore eating in the restaurant.

The waitresses also said that customers who ate at the restaurant's counter (as Young-Nelson said Moore always did) would have been served by either the bartender or the short-order cook. The wait staff did not serve the counter customers, and had no reason to interact with them. (Young-Nelson claimed Moore would flirt with her while she was waiting on him at the counter).

The waitresses also said that there was no exit from the back lot of the restaurant (as claimed in Young-Nelson's story), because the back restaurant lot backed up to the backyards of some residential houses. They said that the restaurant's dumpsters were not kept in the back lot (as claimed in Young-Nelson's story) because the back lot was too small; the dumpsters were kept on the sides of the restaurant, and it was impossible to park between them (as claimed in Young-Nelson's story). They also said the restaurant had a porch that wrapped 360 degrees around the restaurant, and that it was very well lit at night, so the back of the restaurant was never dark and secluded (as claimed in Young-Nelson's story).

Breitbart also reports that the pollster who had the most accurate results in the run-off election now shows Moore with a 6 point lead over Democrat Doug Jones. Moore is down a little from where he was, but it does not appear that the bogus assault story from Young-Nelson is going to sink him, despite Gloria Allred's best efforts.

When I saw the accuser on the NBC Today show, my instincts told me she was "acting."

I have a feeling that something like she describes actually did happen to her at some point in her life, but it wasn't Roy Moore.

But it looked obvious her answers in that interview were well-rehearsed.

That's my sense as well: possibly true, but not about Moore. Definitely not at that location, she got so much wrong and has so many strange details.

She's completely discredited. All that's left is maybe the younger girl, and the 20 something woman that claims Moore patted her rear end.

There's something very, very off about her.
________________

There were reports last week that she had falsely accused three Alabama ministers of making sexual advances to her.

She seems to have convinced herself that everything bad in her life (and there was a lot of bad shit: multiple boyfriends, husbands, drugs, drinking, multiple bankruptcies, etc.) was due to her encounter with Roy Moore at 14 (whether it was real or imagined).

And that's weird, because if (as she claims) she was sneaking out of her mother's house at age 14 to drive off to unknown destinations with 30-something men she'd just met, then she obviously already had problems before the encounter with Moore (if it even happened).

257 Disney Chief Creative Officer takin' a break from the creatin' cuz he gots his hands into some honey pots.

I don't know his name. Pic on Drudge he looks like William Buckley with a water retention problem.

That's John Lassiter. He was the head of Pixar when it got bought by Disney from LucasFilm. He directed Toy Story and Monsters, Inc. and a couple of other kid- and family-friendly computer cartoons. He's on a couple of the DVDs in the 'behind the scenes' clips.

Never would've thought he'd do anything untoward. Hollyweird is a much larger cesspool of Democrat perv/abusers than I thought.

Damn, this is disgusting. But if that's what it takes to clean all this up after 50-some-odd years of introducing all the progressive, anti-American filth that's been forced upon the viewing and voting public, then let's cheer it on.

Goodness knows I'm certainly no prude, but there's so much garbage being spewed out of TV and movies today that I want it cleaned up. There's more to life than secks and violins and it's way past time for us to return to at least a little bit of wholesome, innocent entertainment. There's nothing wrong with that type of entertainment at all, but you rarely see much of it these days.

Can we raise the lowest common denominator just a wee bit for once?

261 Fox News host Neil Cavuto took aim at President Trump on Monday, criticizing him over recent tweets and calling for him to act like the president.

I understand this perspective. The problem is, we live in a different age than I'd prefer. And this IS presidential now. We live in a time when people need to, and will not otherwise, hear about the kind of stuff Trump is tweeting about ,however clumsily and juvenile-ly that forces it to the attention of everyone.

President Obama could stay lofty and "above the fray" other than an occasional flipping someone off because the media would cover everything that helped his cause. The press buries everything that might help Trump, or spins it ridiculously.

So President Trump takes it to the sleazy, awful modern day Fireside Chat on social media.

________________

Breitbart says the pollster who called the run-off the most accurately is now showing Moore leading Jones by 6 points.

If that's right, there is no reason for Moore not to stay in.

The media isn't paying much attention, but there are several people coming forward (by name, not anonymously) and refuting the story told by Moore accuser Beverly Young-Nelson. A former boyfriend (who is now a minister), a couple of waitresses from the Olde Hickory restaurant (one of whom is a retired teacher and current choir director), a deputy sheriff who regularly ate at the restaurant in the '70's, etc. These people, who appear to be credible, are contradicting almost every detail of Young-Nelson's story. And of course, we spent last week discussing all the problems with the "Roy Moore, D.A." inscription in the yearbook that Gloria Allred is refusing to let any independent experts examine.

Young-Nelson's story appears to be completely fabricated, and her story was the most damaging to Moore's reputation.

And now that she has been shown to be a fraud, AL voters must be wondering about the credibility of the other accusers as well.
