Melanie Morgan: I Was Also Stalked and Harassed by Al Franken; I'll Give Details Soon

I don't think this kind of very-blue joke pitched on SNL is really evidence, but 1, I don't care if it's fair or not, this is war, and 2, I'll leave it for you to decide.

And now ist ze Time on Schprocketts when ve comb through Al Frahnken's statements to see him fulminating about sexual assaults in ze military.

Meanwhile... The House is voting on the tax reform bill, and has the votes to pass.

Below, a live feed of the voting.

(I'll do a separate post on this later, but I wanted to put up the live news of the vote now.)

Update: The Tax Reform & Jobs bill is now Passed out of the House.

Al Franken will be groping it within minutes.

32 From the last thread about the legal age, it varies by state. Some still are very low I think.

Mine is 17. I found this out while reading an article about some dude who boffed a seventeen year old girl. That wasn't the problem. The problem is that he filmed it. The legal age for that is 18. Five years he got I think.

But I was surprised because I just assumed the legal age of consent everywhere was 18.

33 Remember, also, that Franken is famously violent and hot-tempered when it comes to men, and is documented for having punched/assaulted many people over his career, and has ben in many brawls and fistfights (usually started by him).

This all came out in the Minnesota Senate campaign, but as usual the Dems circled the wagons and voted for him anyway.

Mine is 17. I found this out while reading an article about some dude who boffed a seventeen year old girl. That wasn't the problem. The problem is that he filmed it. The legal age for that is 18. Five years he got I think.

There are many reasons for abstaining from filming the act of physical love.

Among mine are:

1. Pleading adds ten pounds on camera.
2. Asking the lady to slow down and allowing me to catch up is disheartening.
3. Subways already have cameras.

Before any of you get giddy about state and local taxes, think again:

--Don't we WANT more governmental programs handled at the state and local level. I would be happy to watch all state taxes spike up, if, in return, certain Federal departments like Health and Human Services and Education were *Abolished*.
--Lots of republicans in "red" states pay higher state, local and property taxes too.
--A "tax cut" that causes the tax bills of millions of individuals to jump up, people who played by the rules as they best understood them, for decades, is political suicide.

153 Willowed form the last thread in response to the usual - "hey let's not attack Al Franken too much lest this whole harassment thing gets out of hand and innocents get hurt" type comments:

This whole - "let's stay on our high horse" "this isn't seemly . . where
will it all end" bullsh*t is just that . . . bullsh*t. This will not
end until we start destroying the vaunted "examples" of "feminist"leftists who, while accusing conservatives falsely, are, themselves
engaged in the worst chauvinistic, misogynistic, perverted, violent,
degrading, predatory and pedophilic behaviors which, if there was any
justice, would have landed them all in Federal or State PYITA prison
where they would be quickly, well, PITA.

They must all be attacked,
twice as hard and destroyed with the same Alinsky tactics they try to
use against us. Aided of course, by the fact that, with leftists, there are actual crimes committed, not made up, based-on-BS cr*p like the Moore
"yearbook" which is an obvious forgery.

As a matter of fact, I wonder if this
whole, sudden, carpet bombing campaign of the radical left/Hollywood
with sexual assault evidence and proven allegations is not an
orchestrated, Bannon operation designed to do just that - make the left
understand that this is a war of attrition that they cannot possibly win
as their side is actually assaulting, committing crimes and engaging in
pedophilia - it is not made up like they do with us. Right now - only
one side was allowed to be attacked and have their names dragged through
the mud by a compliant MSM (with the GOPe happily condemning their own
and throwing them under buses without a shred of actual believable
evidence). Now the MSM and all the leftists bastions are under direct
attack and are stuck covering it, too, lest they be labelled as well.

I
say let these feminist "red guards" continue their work until the left
learns its lesson and learns it good and hard.

F*ck you, war.

At the very
least it leads to the situation, like with Trump,or in Alabama where
most people
see the allegations in the WP, see Allread, understand its more of the
same made up BS, yawn and vote for the candidate anyway.

I believe none of these women

---

If no one else accuses ----> You're lying, no one else has had any problems

If others accuse ----> You're lying, this many people can't all have had this problem

If there's another accusation with photo evidence ----> witchhunt

Posted by: Jenny Hates Her Phone But Likes Babies at November 16, 2017 02:00 PM (yBcuS)

Not quite. If you accuse, and the police investigate, and your rapist is arrested. tried and convicted, you're probably not lying. If you accuse, 15 YEARS LATER, having said absolutely NOTHING about it in all that time since, and ONLY after there's a slew of other 15 year old accusations, and ONLY do so at the precise time the accused is running in an election, or has become a senator, and ONLY when it's the cool thing to do right now because everybody else is doing it...yeah...my money is you're lying.
Look, it's common sense. Think about all the women in your life right now. All of them. Any female person you know in day to day life. If they were groped or harrassed or god forbid raped by their boss, what would any of them do? Scream. Cry. Struggle. Fight. Flee. Immediately make frantic calls to the police, husband, their company's HR dept. Quit company, file charges, sue! Trials. Convictions. Firings. Stories in the papers. That's the normal reaction. If your answer was "don't say anything, and act like absolutely nothing happened and then bring it up 25 years later" then, sorry but thanks for playing.

Well then, nothing is or ever has been any good.

Were there lame sketches in the 75-79 era? Were there times when they didn't know what to do? Of course.

But FFS man, I could find flaws in Seven Samurai but that doesn't stop it from being the best movie ever.

The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there. In the late 70s, in the context of the time, to young people who may not even have been stoned, it was hilariously funny and new.

Creepy old man. Stalker. Pervert. I hope you have no children/I feel for his poor daughters/do your family members know how evil you are?

Its anonymous voices of mostly fools and lunatics. But it still bothers me and hurts. I'd never attack a woman like that. I have only dated 2 women in my entire life and both were in their 30s. I've always treated them with respect and honor and dignity and tried to act like my father did.

But it just doesn't matter to some people. They hurl the worst sort of hatred at you for no particular reason other than you disagree with them. Mostly because they have no substantive, logical argument against your statement.

I didn't mean to imply I thought SNL was never any good. Just that people over praise the show at various eras. Its had some better times: the original cast, the Eddie Murphy/Billy Crystal etc era, for example. Its just that its a 90 minute show and its always been at least a half hour too long, with a lot of not great filler, even at its best.

I agree. Especially b/c we know there was a slush fund that paid off people who were in Congress. That is what I'm interested in. If the Franken hearing can get that unleashed, that'd be a positive. But right now it looks like hypocrisy.

Exactly. But that doesn't mean I want to give my state cover to jack up my local taxes with the excuse that that I will get a bigger deduction on my federal taxes. That's just a shell game and it really happens.

Again, don't ignore the yuuuge increase in personal deductions in the new plan along with with other deductions for kids and stuff and the lower rates. Federal tax for me may still be lower and I think it is.

It could be, dare I say it, a win-win.

Emma Watson has turned herself into a feminist crusader.

Agreed - and that "yearbook inscription" is the most obvious forgery I have seen in a while (and I have had some in my legal career and worked with handwriting experts). First of all, it is handwritten at the beginning in long hand, then the title date and other things are in block print. There also appear to be two different inks or pens used. Lastly - it is signed "Moore, D.A." Well . . . as someone who is a lawyer and knows people who worked in several different DA's offices - only ONE person gets to sign "DA" and that is the actual, elected, District Attorney (which Moore was not - he worked IN the DAs office). Everyone else other than the DA who is an attorney in the DA's office is an "ADA." Signing off on anything, no matter how trivial, as "DA" is a very, very serious offense and, even if done innocently under any circumstances, would lead to serious reprimand and immediate correction by any and all in the office. It is simply not done.
Not to mention - who the hell brings their HS yearbook to work at a restaurant, just before Christmas and offers it up to some random ADA to sign - or has it "handy" to give to him to sign when he "asks" to. This does not pass the "sniff test" and Moore is correct to push for it to be examined by independent experts as a precursor to even addressing any of these allegations - This is how its done folks. If you are innocent - you fight like hell.

548 Hermoine in the books was gawkish (a new word to me, but I like it) and everyone hated her in the beginning.

Now, even when Emma Watson was cast as a ten or eleven-year-old she wasn't that. I don't blame the producers for not knowing that a child would grow up into a smoke show.

But I think that book Hermoine doesn't have to be all that more unattractive than movie Emma, because we're perceiving her through the eyes of ten year olds. She's always raising her hand to answer questions and she's show-offy and none of the other kids like her.

And we're ten, so who's going to see what she's really going to grow into?

There used to be a site devoted solely to the glory of terrible B-movies called Stomp Tokyo. It was this and other bad movie sites that popularized the term 'jump scare'. The term the bad movie aficionado crowd had for implausible shit and bad logic that happens in movies was the acronym 'IITS', which means It's In The Script.

So Rick Grimes could simply and easily end the whole Negan threat by simply doing what would seem logical and right in the real world--and doesn't?

It's In The Script, man.
