Released Osama bin Ladin Papers Prove the Al Qaeda-Iran Partnership That Progressive Shills for Iran Claimed Could Never Happen

And we gave Iran $140 billion-- some of which even John Kerry admitted must have flowed to the terror groups it funds.

The Long War Journal had an advanced look at the trove of documents:

One never-before-seen 19-page document contains a senior jihadist's assessment of the group's relationship with Iran. The author explains that Iran offered some "Saudi brothers" in al Qaeda "everything they needed," including "money, arms" and "training in Hezbollah camps in Lebanon, in exchange for striking American interests in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf." Iranian intelligence facilitated the travel of some operatives with visas, while sheltering others. Abu Hafs al-Mauritani, an influential ideologue prior to 9/11, helped negotiate a safe haven for his jihadi comrades inside Iran. But the author of the file, who is clearly well-connected, indicates that al Qaeda’s men violated the terms of the agreement and Iran eventually cracked down on the Sunni jihadists’ network, detaining some personnel. Still, the author explains that al Qaeda is not at war with Iran and some of their "interests intersect," especially when it comes to being an "enemy of America."
Bin Laden's files show the two sides have had heated disagreements. There has been hostility between the two....
However, bin Laden urged caution when it came to threatening Iran. In a previously released letter, bin Laden described Iran as al Qaeda's "main artery for funds, personnel, and communication" And despite their differences, Iran continued to provide crucial support for al Qaeda's operations.

I'd like to put John Brennan and James Clapper under oath and ask them what they knew and when they knew it, and if they ever downplayed this intelligence they were sitting on when shilling for Obama's Iran Deal.

Oh, and then there's this: Another lie told by Obama and Clapper and Brennan is that the Muslim Brotherhood isn't a terrorist organization.

There are many on the left who have never been supportive of the rulers of the Middle East and identified with the struggle of the little guy. Much like Obama's grandfather becoming a Muslim to fight back against the Brits in Africa.

I read somewhere that Bin Laden was angry at the Saudis for not accepting his help in expelling the Iraqis from Kuwait. He had been fighting the Russians in Afghanistan and he offered the Saudi's his fighters. Then he was very angry the Saudi's allowed us to fight the Iraqis

Religion of peace is an entirely meaningless term. There is no sense in which Muslims are a ROP. Are there some Muslims that are peaceable. I suppose--but peaciness is not a a distinguishing feature of Islam. Not evan an imbecile would be so stupid as to claim that. Some anabaptist sects could be called Sect of Peace, because I know some who would not take up arms even to defend themselves. The B'ahai appear to have made peace a distinguishing characteristic.

236 It's long been my contention that Iran was to be Phase 3 for the War on Terror. They've been the world sponsors of terror for a long time, but they keep it at enough arms length to not give us enough reason to declare formal war.

1) Afghanistan - 9/11 gave us license to go in and destroy the terrorists there, the terrorist supporting regime, etc. Afghanistan shares a long border with Iran.

2) Iraq - Saddam was a terror supporting murderous thug who used chemical weapons (ones that ended up probably in Syria), and we had the UN justification to end their regime. Iraq shares a long border with Iran.

Since 2 didn't go so well (thanks Democrats for not sticking with it, undermining to cut and run in order to gain political advantage at the ballot box at home), we weren't able to execute phase 3

3) With troops and bases on either side of Iran in both Afghanistan and Iraq, we ratchet up the heat on Iran.

Instead of that, we got an emboldened Iran, who started making even more trouble (Thanks Obama!). And we ended up destabilizing countries that were not causing us trouble (Libya, Egypt, and the losing of Iraq that we had won) Thanks Obama and Hillary.

And then we sent a ton of money and are letting Iran work on the nuclear technology - Thanks again Obama and Democrats.

The good news is that we again have a realistic presence in the White House, the unfortunate thing is that the 8 years of Obama did real and probably lasting damage.

Well we know many if not all of them do not like the way the west has behaved for generations. They view us as colonialists and bullies. Obama himself said as much many times.

They wanted to let the "grassroots" and down trodden (in their view) determine the fates of their own countries and see groups like the MB as the community organizers of that region.

It is a warped view of the world that ascribes only evil intentions to the west and only good motives on the part of these groups. It is wrong headed, stupid and naive. Most of them are far too educated with left wing garbage and don't have any real world knowledge. You can here the same garbage in faculty lounges and academic conferences all the time.
