General Kelly Bitchslaps Democrat Congresswoman Who Misrepresented What Trump Said to Family of Slain Serviceman

Pretty potent. When the "he knew what he was getting into" claim got pushed by these vile rats, I figured it was something along these lines -- he was a brave man who chose valiantly to risk his life for the sake of others. That kind of thing. The "He died a hero, not a victim" sort of sentiment. (Which would make a difference to me, I think.)

That's what Kelly says it was.

Reports are, the press room was very silent as Kelly scolded these senescent children.

By the way, there is some evidence to suggest that the Congresspyrsyn who misrepresented this phone call might be a circus clown of some variety.

Flashback: When Obama told a class of graduating police cadets "risking your lives is something you signed up for," the Democrat-Media Complex didn't think it was controversial.

Managing Children: Jane D'Oh watched the presser, and she said this happened:

I watched his presser, and was in tears.

Loved how he handled the press whores. "Any of you a Gold Star family member?" *crickets*

"Any of you know a Gold Star family member?" *one hand goes up*

"Okay, you get a question."

4 I really think Trump should record every conversation he has with any individual rather than this constant back and forth. But I suppose that's what got Nixon in trouble.

Looks like to me a President should be allowed to have a recording of himself without public access, but I'm sure some Hawaiian judge would make damn sure Trump had to hand over everything.

I know his heart is in the right place here, but you're going to have Cindy Sheehan type moments (or the silly Khan incident) that the media will lap up and get the agenda off track.

That's really the goal here from MSM/Deep State/Dems/Never Trump Republicans, etc. Distract the Administration with as many bullshit issues as possible to kill the clock. So this entire week this has been the main focus.

57 Here's the story the Gen. Kelly related in the presser about that congresswoman...although he doesn't mention her by name:

In April of 2015, while still on active duty, I went to the dedication of the new FBI field office in Miami. And it was dedicated to two men who were killed in a firefight in Miami against drug traffickers in 1986. A guy by the name of Grogan and Duke. Grogan almost retired, 53 years old. Duke, I think less than a year on the job. They got in a gunfight and killed. Three FBI agents were there, wounded, now retired. We go down and give a brilliant memorial speech to all of the men and women of the FBI who serve our country so well and law enforcement so well. There were family members there. Some of the children were only 3, 4 years old when their dads were killed on that street in Miami-Dade.

Three of the men that survived the fight were there and gave rendition of how brave those men were and how they gave their lives. And a congresswoman stood up and, in the long tradition of empty barrels making the most noise, stood up there in all of that and talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building. How she took care of her constituents because she got the money and just called up President Obama and on that phone call he gave the money, the $20 million to build a building, and she sat down. And we were stunned. Stunned that she had done it. Even for someone that is that empty a barrel, we were stunned. But none of us went to the press and criticized. None of us stood up and were appalled. We just said okay, fine.

aw xhe's in a tizzy again.

I kinda sorta offered to beat up Tapper. He was in my DMs doing the "Look at you, big anonymous tough guy" thing over and over, even though I wasn't being "tough," I was being critical of his impossible leftwing bias.

So I started saying, politely, "If you're curious about how tough I am, I could meet you and we could personally hash that question out. If it's important to you."

And he'd come back with, like, "I don't think your mother will let you out of your basement, Tough Guy."

And I said, politely, "Since it is very important to you to guage how tough I am vis a vis you, I'm sure mom will drive me to a mutually-agreed meeting place. Again, since this is such a concern to you."

He kept evading. I don't want to fight anyone. But if you keep laying down the "Tough Guy" insult, and someone offers to test his toughness with you, then I think you've built a trap for yourself and you're kind of obligated to go through with it.

But he's a pussy, so of course he refused.

I've never forgotten the lump I got in my throat. Every day was a nightmare, but you get up, stay busy, and go to bed and start all over again the next day. And pray pray pray pray pray constantly.

190 The English language relies on tone and facial expression to a great degree.

The language is amorphic enough that these added signals almost are required in some communications.

Thus it can be quite easy to misconstrue the meaning of a particular sentence. Especially if one is inclined to draw negative conclusions about the meaning because of the person speaking.

With the 24/7 drumbeat since the election by the media to constantly shade and out right distort every utterance by Trump it's no wonder anyone would be willing to take a negative view of whatever he has said.

That the presstitutes are doing their utmost to bring down a sitting President and the country he is attempting to lift back up into sanity shows exactly what they wish to happen to the rest of the country.

Cut your cable. Cut it now. You are only supplying the money these blood suckers use in their attempt to destroy this Nation and it's dominant culture. They are traitors and need to be punished.

Which parts did he like? The part where W lectures us that supremacist beliefs are wrong -- but only if they come from white people? Mr. "Islam is a religion of peace" forgot to mention that Islam is also a supremacist ideology. But that's okay, and it makes perfect sense to import millions more muslims into the U.S., because even though they hold supremacist beliefs, at least they're not icky white people, right George?

Or how about when W lectures us that what makes people "Americans" is their embrace of high ideals and civic responsibility? Pretty hard to square that claim with W's years-long insistence that we owe amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who have deliberately and persistently rejected our most cherished ideals -- like the rule of law -- and shunned even the most basic civic responsibilities, such as not stealing other Americans' identities, not stealing other Americans' votes, not lying and cheating and claiming taxpayer-funded benefits to which they are not entitled. But again, it's all okay, so long as they're not icky white people!

At first it looks like nothing. Then you pound away for 60 seconds (much longer then the average fist fight) and you want to die. Not some polite dancing around, nothing but pounding away at the midsection of a theoretical opponent. You need to get to the point where you pound away for three minutes without breaking a sweat.

It invokes a confidence that the opposition can feel. It's like a visible aura around you. They walk away muttering.

So now I'm wondering where Wilson was when she made this "recording", and more importantly, what are the state laws for recording a phone conversation. Because that sure sounds like a violation of law in several states, where you are required to get the consent of ALL parties to the conversation to begin recording.

And as a 3rd party not participating in the call, I imagine that there are even more restrictions.

I want to believe that, but I can't. there is this thing called 'double dipping'; drawing a fat pension, and holding a government job that pays a fat salary, and also guarantees yet another fat pension on top of the pension he's already getting.

If he was a patriot, he would do the job for a $1 salary and an expense account and still would load up the expense account with a luxury life style.

The cynic won't let me believe anything anyone in government says no matter how patriotic they sound. I fell for that one a long time ago, and I'm not making that same mistake a third time.

Even for a former employer.

If there is... it should be shot from orbit.

Working for Trump, who is mercurial, and the competing agendas in the White House, and the rabid, crazy press, is a job very few people would want, except for reasons outside their own personal agenda.

I don't care what he is getting paid. It is not enough.

You don't think the military are "wage slaves?" You think they work, fight, move all over the world, live in appalling conditions, risk their lives, get separated from their families, lose their hearing, incur injury, and everything else that goes with that because they don't need to make a living?????
You are jealous that this guy who got a low draft number and enlisted during the war and then was picked for officer's candidate school because he was bright and dedicated is somehow getting one off on you??

Posted by: All Hail Eris, She-Wolf of the 'Ettes 'Ettes at October 19, 2017 05:39 PM (qJtVm)

We do call some who have dishonored the Marine Corps ex-Marines. Lee Harvey Oswald, Charles Whitman and Clayton Lonetree are three very specific ex-Marines, a lot of us were very disappointed in Senator Murtha's comments about Haditha and his declaration that the Marines were cold-blooded murderers, which was beyond the pale but he didn't officially become an "ex-Marine" though he certainly deserved it. Too bad he did not live long enough to see none of those Marines convicted of murder, and all of their manslaughter convictions overturned. May Murtha rot in hell.
Regarding General Kelly, 4 days after his son was killed he told a story about 2 young Marines who died stopping a truckborne, suicide, IED at the gate of their FOB near Ramadi in Iraq. It is titled 6 seconds. 6 seconds from when the truck came into view before they gave their lives shooting every round they could into the cab. 6 seconds while the Marines and Iraqi Security Forces inside the FOB had no idea what was coming, 6 seconds that allowed the Iraqi's on guard to run to safety. 6 seconds, those Marines stood, unflinching, facing their mortal end and did their duty, and gave their last full measure, for their God, their Nation, their Corps and the ones they loved; their families at home and deployed with them.General Kelly could have bemoaned the loss of his son, he could have blamed the US, blamed Obama, hated God and hated the Marine Corps as he put on his dress blue uniform and buried his son, wearing his own dress blues. He did not, he honored his son and all who have served and gave their lives. Semper Fidelis.
