97 This morning on David Webb, his guest, some Mayor who is in Bloombergs Mayors against Guns cabal, said he doesn't want to ban legal guns, he wants to ban illegal guns.

I'm not joking.

He then said that when someone goes to buy a gun, the only check done on them is by the local police. Who only know what has happened locally with the guy.

He had no knowledge of the NICs system in place at all FFL dealers across the country. A gunsmith had called in and was trying to educate the clown, but Webb kept talking over him.

I don't think Webb understood what the NICs system is either.

The "hammer like object" presumably used to break the windows is, oddly enough, a hammer. Looks like a 2lb sledge.

It is lying next to a rifle with a bipod and no bumpstock (probably - not really clear enough to tell). A LOT of 5.56 brass on the floor next to it. And what looks like a 7.62 magazine is next to it also.

There is also a photo of another AR15 style rifle, looks like it has a doublestack 40 round mag and it clearly has a bumpstock.

The idea was not bad--lure the entire Viet Minh in to a set piece battle and destroy them. The Frogs just underestimated the enemy firepower and as a result didn't realize *they* were the ones who would be destroyed in said set piece battle.

Still--what if Ike had allowed a massive carpet bombing of the Viet Minh forces with B-36 or B-29 bombers, a la Khe Sanh?

The USA would never have had to involve itself with that Vietnam and Indochina mess. Vietnam, like Malaysia, would have been run by a pro-Western regime.
