Except, just to make it interesting, Roy Moore's totally not-extremist centrist moderate Democrat opponent has just declared: Absolutely no restrictions on abortion whatsoever.

Alabama Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones said in a Wednesday interview that he is against all restrictions on abortion...
"I am a firm believer that a woman should have the freedom to choose what happens to her own body, and I'm going to stand up for that and I'm going to make sure that that continues to happen," Jones said [to MSNBC's Chuck Todd].

Todd asked Jones about a 20-week abortion ban, like the one that Republicans announced Tuesday that they will reintroduce in the House. Many European nations ban abortion after 12, 13, or 14 weeks.
"You wouldn't be in favor of legislation that said ban abortion after 20 weeks, or something like that?" Todd asked.
"No, I'm not in favor of anything that is going to infringe on a woman's right and her freedom to choose," Jones said. "That's just the position that I've had for many years, it's the position I continue to have."

Our daughter was adopted at one day old from a wonderful but full blown alcoholic birth mother. She knew what the childs life would be like, and still chose to deliver and allow adoption. May God bless and help her.

It should be obvious that my plan is to have them pick a time and then point out that how unlucky a baby is that missed not being aborted by one day according to their time line.

156 Hi all- I have a favor to ask. On this blog in the past, there has been reference to some type of book written by a guy who was living in the disbanded USSR or maybe it was the Soviet Union. A portion of the book referenced shop owners posting "workers of the world unite" stickers in the windows or something so the government would leave him alone. Unfortunately, I want to reread this but I cannot remember the name of the publication at all. It was written in the 80's I believe and would love any help for my off-topic request....

I opined yesterday that I think that the Army would likely have a hard time punishing him. DoD regulates political activity and I think this is guy is smart and smartass enough to mostly be covered on First Amendment grounds.

197 As an Alabama native, a position like that will not fly with the average voter. Roy Moore has huge connections with the evangelical community and that played a huge role in his win. That and the stain of corruption covering Strange Luther after he was appointed by the "Luv Guv."

Moore will clean this "centrist" Democrat's clock by 20 points minimum.

I'm hopeful this sends a signal to the GOPe that it's time to either step aside into retirement or get steamrolled at the ballot box come primary time. Bob Corker (R-Iran Deal) is hopefully the first of many lazy, old GOPe sellouts to see the light of the speeding anti-establishment express at the end of the tunnel.
