Look At This Idiot:

So, not only is this out-and-proud carbuncle of a man mentally ill, he is trying to make his baby son mentally ill, too. You have to wonder what his son's mental state will be when he eventually learns that his dad has been feeding him lies and delusions all these years.

Only good part is that this boob is getting hammered in the comments.

Well, They've Found The Organism That Causes Progressivism And It Looks About Like What You'd Expect:

40 I was talking about some if this with hubby this morning.
I tutor a kid who has some learning disabilities. He throws tantrums when I present new material with him that is a little difficult, or that he has never seen before. It usually takes two or three sessions of presenting the new material before he feels comfortable enough to try it. Meanwhile, he is getting behind further and further in classes. It's a vicious cycle that he helping to continue by his refusal to merely try.

Antifa types are like this kid. They are presented with new problems to solve-college, paying bills, getting jobs, making tough decisions- and they simply can't manage it. The way they deal with the problem is a giant tantrum. Except their tantrums are injuring and killing people, and they want others to pay for the things they don't want to do.

Also the picture of the man carrying the woman and child is beautiful. The one on the left? Not so much.

On a similar tangent, I happened on C-SPAN yesterday, with the Black Caucus rep screeching about Republicans wanting vouchers for religious schools and home schoolers, and demanding to know why they should have the money to choose schools, when there are perfectly good public schools they should have to attend.

Then I read about the horrific teacher up above, with regards to the Lakers Jersey.

I'm a little gobsmacked at how the left is following in the 20's Soviet and Chinese communist footsteps of forcing kids to be educated by the state, rather than their parents. Are they witting, or witless about this?

It's their jobs.

They are mandatory reporters.

Like, I know it seems nuts to us, but teachers are trained in college for the things to look for with abused kids -- and I'm not just talking black eyes.

Kids who should be (in the teachers opinion, at least) medicated, but aren't.

Kids who should be (in the teachers opinion) visiting shrinks but aren't.

Kids who should be transitioning genders but haven't seen a doctor about it.

Etc.

They will get fired if they notice that and fail to report.

And since they're young and dumb, they don't realize that they should just shut the fuck up and "not notice" anything. But as soon as they "notice" and the parents don't do anything, they have to report it to child protective services.

And the process is the punishment. I doubt CPS would actually take your kids away because you don't want them on hormone blockers. But you never know. But still, you have to deal with house visits, and the kids being interviewed, and all kinds of intrusive and ridiculous shit.

While they might not bounce off the walls anymore I suspect it's because they can barely hold onto a thought long as they are dealing with the effect of that horrible med.

I hope they have gotten much better with meds and following the child closely.

106 The picture of the guy on the right always reminds me of why I lift weights and this wonderful little thing I read on 4chan somewhere about weightlifting.

I don't lift weights to be aesthetically pleasing. I have a gut from drinking, love handles, my core basically looks like somebody stuffed a bunch of cottage cheese and pomelos into a gym sock and said "eh, good enough, put him out on the floor".

But I never want to be the guy who is called on one day to lift something and can't do it. Because if you lift the thing, you are known as "the guy who can lift heavy things." What is the alternative? You become known as "the guy who tried to lift something heavy and couldn't" and later just as "faggot".

I don't want to be that guy. I'm not that smart, I can't play music, my skin looks like queso dip half the time, and literally most of my free time is spent drinking gin and playing Doom WADs made two decades ago. But I want to be known as the man that, in the final reckoning, can lift that heavy thing.

There's some heroism in that.

Oh, they are witting. They are VERY witting - just look at all of the abuse poured on people who have the temerity to homeschool, for example.

But the reality is that nowadays, a child who is properly homeschooled can easily have modern bachelors degree writing, reading comprehension, and mathematical skills by age 17. It's not that home schooling is so great, though, it's that modern public education has now become nothing by-ut daycare run by fascists who cater to the lowest common denominator.

161 From Matt Walsh FB post:

My wife took our three young children to the local library this morning for a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood by a theater company from a nearby college. My wife called me a few minutes after arriving to report that a grown man, introduced as "Zelda," had come out in drag to play Little Red Riding Hood. We both made the obvious decision to pull the kids from the play, which caused them to break down in tears. It's unfortunate that my children had to pay the price because the library decided it wanted to show off its progressive bonafides. Three other families got up and left as well.

I immediately drove to the library to have a chat with the manager. She was condescending and dismissive, acting as though she couldn't possibly understand why anyone would have a problem with a grown man in drag playing Little Red Riding Hood for kids. Outrageously, she justified it by saying that even Shakespeare had men playing female roles. Yes, Sherlock, that's true, but that was because they were all-male theater troupes. This group had several women, but they just so happened to choose old "Zelda" to play the little girl. And I'm supposed to believe that they weren't trying to prove a point, that this is in no way connected to the persistent effort to push transgenderism on kids? Please. That's insulting to my intelligence, and I told her that.

Anyone in the CPS system (not just the CPS folks) has absolute immunity about their CPS actions. And they have absolute anonymity. You can't face your accusers, much less know who they are.

We don't need no stinking 6th Amendment. Or Fourth. In fact, the whole document, rubbish before the power of CPS.

Not a story of abuse, but --

My parents kept me home from school for an extra year. They taught me to read during that time (like they could have stopped me if they'd wanted to) and other things. So my teacher for first grade, where we were supposed to learn how to read, was astonished. She promoted me to 2nd grade on the spot -- a field promotion, as it were.

So, in the summer between 2nd and 3rd grade, I had to take some tests to see if I were qualified to retain my new grade. Which I promptly passed.

Point: Even in 1960, the "educators" were positive they knew better than parents.

Yes, exactly.

And it's not just that boys benefit from discipline, boys NEED discipline, and it is much more effective when it comes from a Male role model than from mother or some surrogate mother figure. Boys by their nature are going to push against the rules as far as they can, search out the boundaries of what they can do and push it as far as they can go. When they are taught, early and firmly, that THIS is the limit - go this far and nor farther, or you will receive punishment - then they are not angry, they are satisfied, because their system is now defined. If their system is NOT defined, then they keep going further and further and further, and for many it doesn't stop until they run into the Criminal Justice System, where someone HAS to stop them.

Which is long way of saying that applying corporal punishment to a boy is one of the kindest and most helpful things a parent can ever do for him.

Our popular culture never tires of psychoanalyzing the Stalins, Hitlers, etc and making supposed parallels to contemporary Republicans. The media is full of psychobabble about "angry populists" and "white resentment"

But we need to highlight that eternal human personality that has been the brick and mortar of every freedom-sucking dictatorship that ever was: the officious, intermeddling mediocrity in life who gains their sole sense of worth from being given a grant of coercive authority to control and potentially harm the life of someone else. It's the tranny pushing teacher, the Stasi, the fugly Morality police in Iran telling some young hottie to push her hijab further over her face. It's basically the Milgram experiment expressing itself in politics.

The particulars change with circumstance, but its a definable type, and they are really the ones we need to call out and fight against.

We both made the obvious decision to pull the kids from the play, which caused them to break down in tears. 195 Oh, and another vignette about the local school system:

We didn't have A/C at home, and left the windows open at night. Mosquitoes found my brother and me to be wonderful dining. My brother, being 6 or 7, couldn't be dissuaded from scratching the bites; so within a few days he looked like a chicken pox sufferer.

He went to school, and his teacher promptly got me out of my classroom and had me take him home, with a note to Mom saying, "Your son has a contagious condition."

Mom got on the phone and read them the Riot Act. "I'm a registered nurse, people. I'd know if my son was contagious, and I'd never send him to school if he was!"

Once again, the "educators" thought they knew better than the parent.

224 201 Another point about boys that women NEVER get, at all levels - the talking talking talking NEVER works. It works on girls, they are verbal from an early age, but boys come out of the box with a particular ability that most wives complain about in their husbands.

And that is: When women talk, what we hear is "blah blah blah blahbitty blah". I'm sorry to break it to you, but that's how we're made. Unless we really really want something, and then we can pretend to pay attention for short periods of time, but most of the time, talking to us is about like talking to your dog. We hear our names, and that's about it.

232 "I don't claim to be an expert but I suspect boys benefit more from
discipline, than from Ritalin. The school system is trying to produce
more girls."

---

I'm not sure if that entirely the case, at least in terms of producing girls.

Only a few options here for high spirited boys (and girls):

1. Discipline spirited child (against the law)
2. Ignore the spirited child (other parents complain)
3. Drug the spirited child

Drugs make active children of both sexes compliant. Children (as well as adults) sit still, pay attention and don't create distractions.

That makes it easier on the teacher. And consequently on the school administration, who do not want to deal with a "difficult" child of either sex. When in fact, the child just might be high spirited.

So really, it would seem that diagnosing a child with a "disorder" and drugging them is a the easiest way for the teacher to keep order in a classroom.

/and yes, discipline works better than drugs, IMHO

He won't work CPS cases at all anymore.

I don't have any kids yet, but "beating them" is not on my plan for teaching them how to be good people.

It's like training a dog -- I suppose you could beat him in to doing what you want, but usually that's the kind of dog that just snaps one day and eats the neighbors face off. Training him with carrots instead of sticks may be more time consuming, but you end up with a much better dog at the end of the day.

242 Well the UN speech was magnificent (importantly, largely because of the contrast with the idiocy and dreck that the affirmative action intern, and Clinton before him, regularly barfedup).

But Teh Donald stumbled today with one twit, about the Graham bill, saying Paul or anyone else who prevented its passage would be remembered as the "Republican who saved Obama-care". Nonsense.

His administration has been limp on this from the get-go, it was clear he would sign almost anything Congress put in front of him, regardless of merit. Oh, and it's actually worse than that. Yesterday he tweeted he would only sign something if it had the abolition of actual health insurance in it - i.e., it HAD to include "pre-existing condition" coverage.

Nothing will "save" O-care, strictly speaking (even Trump's illegal continuation of subsidies whose discontinuation would have highlighted the system's dysfunction - AND tiny footprint in terms of actual "beneficiaries").

It's pretty amazing, O-care is one of the largest easily identifiable/easily removed/artificial anchors on economic growth and dynamism on the table, not to mention the most potent single politicial issue in generations - and Trump has done almost nothing to end it, or set the stage (administratively or politically) to end it.

Two things: first, I don't think they "hate" Russia. I think they're trying to take down PDT, and they think "those hicks who elected him hate Russia, so if we say 'Russia!' they'll respond to the sound like trained animals".

Second, since the USSR failed, I think it's more a case of that they have no more use for Russia than that they hate it. That's why they have turned to illegals and Muslims as an alternate path to power. They can no longer hope to rely on Russia to swoop in and save the day by turning the world communist little by little, or even conquering the US someday.

You know people have asked, "Why did Trump? I can't believe, why would Trump endorse this guy?" At the time I'm sure he was trying to curry some favor with Mitch.

"Swamp Republicans forced the president's hand - fearing that a victory for Judge Roy Moore would motivate several allies to retire from the Senate rather than face," primary challengers and so forth. So this, to me, is hilarious. You have some senators, Republican moderate RINO type senators who were looking at this election in Alabama, and if Strange, one of them, loses, rather than change, rather than accommodate what is now the mind-set of Republican voters, they think they might have to resign."

I think Trump realizes that the only way to undercut the McCainites and the Flakestinians in Congress is to peel back their false-exterior scabs revealing the grifting , rotting-pus underneath.

Luther was gonna lose. He threw McConnell a bone.

Has a President actively campaigned against his own majority party's Congress members before? If so I can't remember it.

EXACTLY. A "Chat" or a "Talk" is what he called it. I still hate both of those words. I know it's easy enough to say this as a grown up, but if I had to go through it again I'd choose to get spanked/get the belt rather than go through some verbal
deconstruction of my behavior that makes me feel like I'm a worthless piece of trash.

And it isn't even that he was insulting me or verbally abusing me, he would only explain my behavior and why it was harmful and how it affected other people. Anyone that says you need corporeal punishment is dead wrong. If you nail the voice and presence you can completely tear down a rebellious kid with little effort. 300 Insomniac, you speak like someone who was raised very badly. I'm sorry it happened to you.

Discipline doesn't work without engagement. As someone said, the parent first needs to be constantly engaged in his or her childs life. (and for boys, it's a father) Playing games, going on hikes, going places together.

Once that baseline is established, and bad behavior pops up, as it will, THEN some corrective discipline should be applied. But ONLY enough to correct the problem in question (ie, throwing tantrums for no reason) When it is applied correctly, the behavior ends and there is no more need for discipline; and in fact the situations which might call for it come up very very infrequently, and soon not at all.

305 Trump was in a tough spot on AL - pretty clear his main (possibly only) reason he backed Strange was to reward an incumbent who had backed him solidly in his first stormy months. I doubt it had much to do with McConnell or his wishes. Problem is, obviously, Strange is the default "establishment" contender.

Think Trump has steered clear of specifics, and esp. negatives about Moore (though Mitch's reported negative campaign sort of taints Trump indirectly). His tweets have left him in position to welcome a Moore victory with the usual political blather. I assume Trump will maintain his high road/loyalty theme in his rally appearance.

Is it really? We managed to make it until the 70s without it. Yes, I know things change, and things have changed.

We created a monster. A monster that takes away your Constitutional rights.

You've probably figured out I have had to deal with them.

I had a strong family, a strong support system, plenty of resources, a good lawyer, and my wife and I are plenty smart....

And still, a false accusation about a family member tore a rift in our family that lingers to this day. We can't get any of the time, money, or reputation that it cost back. None of it.

Given that, I know that it MUST be the case that there are families who did not have the advantages that we had who are abused by the system. They may not have the language, the money, the education, the support - to take on the "system." They have to knuckle under, and sign whatever confessions are put in front of them to sign.

I know there are children who need protecting. I know there are some fantastic foster families. And I also know the stats for what happens to fosters.

The cure is worse than the disease.

337 Beware oversimplification of gender genetics.

As a matter of fact there are chromosome abnormalities that result in something other than XX and XY.

For example, Turner syndrome, only 45 total chromosomes, with just one sex chromosome, an X, designated as 45 XO. These individuals have female physical characteristics and gonads (ovaries).

Another example, Klinefelter's syndrome, with an extra X-chromosome (designated as 47 XXY, although there are rarer forms of 48 XXXY) These individuals generally have male physical features, although genitalia may be immature and testes may not be well developed.

There are other examples.

Maybe we should use the terms genotype and phenotype more than "gender".

Regardless, these examples are not the same as an individual with 46XY karyotype, a penis and testicles calling himself a girl. That's just insane.

Would I trust a public school teacher to apply discipline correctly these days?
=====

Schools only have a child 6 hours a day and do not have the long-term consequences of 'mistakes' that parents have.

I would spank my children (and in hindsight, should have done it more often) but I had the ultimate responsibility. No short-timer should apply corporal punishment.

My most effective parent-teacher theme: was the child rude or disrespectful, even if the child was in trouble. If the kid was rude or disrespectful, then they got my full wrath; everything else was negotiable. In truth, none of them were ever rude, even though son was always in 'trouble' of one kind or another.

345 I had a a grandfather (who I liked a lot, and who I have ended up resembling in more ways than one) who had a very novel theory on discipline, which worked for him. He had 6 girls and 1 boy, spread over 11 years. (I know, right?) He w as a truck driver among other things, and was gone a lot, and his wife, my grandmother, was a very nice, soft voiced sweet little woman who would go in her room whenever the house got crazy.

So, whenever he came home and all the kids swarmed on him to be the referee in some big fight or his wife told him that all hell had broken loose while he was gone, he would just say "I ain't gonna listen to all that!" and he would line all 7 up, innocent and guilty, and give them all a lickin'. In fact, every time one of them screwed up enough to get him involved, all 7 would get it.

My mom always said they learned to police each other's actions real good after that.

It turns out she called another girl "poop girl" and they wanted me to know that she had been lectured about making fun of people's skin color. At the time I thought the exact same thing: "what the fuck is wrong with people?" My kid was 5. 5-year-olds make poop jokes about everything and poop was my 5- and 4-year-olds' favorite naughty word at that time (she got in trouble at breakfast just that morning for calling her brother "poop boy"). It says way more about you and what you're thinking that you would jum p to that conclusion. Oh, and thanks a lot for putting that idea in her head with that dumbass lecture.

357 Beware oversimplification of gender genetics.

Wouldn't it be simpler to complete stop talking about gender and just define people by their chromosomes? Gender leaves ambiguity...biology does not.

And we should have sympathy for people who actually do have a genetic defect...but not so much for those with the mental ones trying to force them on everyone else.

359 Even if the child was drawing themselves wearing what looked to be a dress doesn't make them a would-be tranny. Maybe he's drawing himself in a robe. Maybe he's drawing himself in old testament clothing. Maybe he sucks at drawing clothing. Maybe he likes what dresses look like, but has no interest in wearing them. Maybe he at that moment wants to be a girl because they get treated better at school and he likes them a lot without understanding why.

The reasons why it would not be transexual grossly outweigh the painfully miniscule chance it is by an overwhelming avalanche.

360 Posted by: Muldoon at September 22, 2017 12:38 PM (v3QwB)

Turner's and Klinefelter's are fairly rare though. And often go entirely undiagnosed unless a Karyotype becomes necessary for some reason. (Small undeveloped gonads would be one.)
And generally speaking we still call these "men" and "women."

There are some cases of "intersex" (where the reproductive system is malformed. Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) is probably the most well known (if not most common, I don't have stats handy) of those.
Here's the thing, there's a fairly reliable treatment for CAH that involves steroid injections in the mother during pregnancy to ensure development. (Keep in mind, development here also affects the urinary tract, and failure to correct can require massive reconstruction surgery to simply piss right.)
Neverthless the LBGT movement is pushing really hard NOT to treat these kids in utero because it is "gender violence" and "might feminize them" (Basically there's questions about whether this treatment makes the brain more feminized than it would have been anyway.)

So yeah...

Maybe we should use the terms genotype and phenotype more than "gender".

Regardless, these examples are not the same as an individual with 46XY karyotype, a penis and testicles calling himself a girl. That's just insane.
Posted by: Muldoon at September 22, 2017 12:38 PM (v3QwB)

Thank you for some actual "science."

I think that is what people here mean- there are genetic mutations that occur, but they are fairly uncommon in the general population. I do wonder if there are certain areas where they are more common, and what the common link could be? Radiation? Impurities in the water? (That could go Broad Street very quickly.)

But people who have a normal genetic composition, who suddenly decide they are a different sex seem to have some other mental illness issues. I don't know how healthy it is to encourage that.

And hugs to you Insomniac. I love you awful, and don't mean to imply that beating is necessary for proper child-rearing. The rod mentioned in the Bible was the shepherd's crook, and was used to gently tap the sheep back onto the path they needed to take-they were never beaten, except by a bad shepherd. Some vicious sadist took that verse, and twisted it to confirm his/her vile view of child rearing.

373 It's like training a dog -- I suppose you could beat him in to doing what you want, but usually that's the kind of dog that just snaps one day and eats the neighbors face off. Training him with carrots instead of sticks may be more time consuming, but you end up with a much better dog at the end of the day.
Posted by: Harry Paratestes at September 22, 2017 12:17 PM (wmaTe)

I'm reading up about stuff like that because of puppeh.

There are 4 quadrants to operant conditioning:

R+ add reinforcement/reward (give carrot)
R- remove reinforcement (remove carrot)
P+ add punishment (hit with stick)
P- remove punishment (stop hitting with stick)

Some force free trainers say do only R+.

It is self-handicapping when you have a serious life-threatening self-rewarding behavior though.

Say chasing cars. Dog is rewarded by the chase itself and gonna ignore other rewards at that moment. Gotta yank that leash to snap him out of it, even though that turns you into a awful aboosive P+ person.

I'm starting to learn that a lot of it is about attention/ focus. Pay attention to your dog's state of mind so he pays attention to you. Don't wait until shit escalates.

375 I don't mean to toot my own horn here, but I knew something was up back in the 90s back when people stopped referring to 'sex' and replaced it with 'gender.'

The entire premise is a trojan horse. If gender refers to something other than what is biologically determined (i.e. a social construct, or whatever), then it is useless as a descriptor or a categorical mechanism. We should never use a subjective criteria when an objective criteria exists.

Theoretically they are vetted.

But absolute power corrupts absolutely. They have absolute immunity in their job. What happens to a case worker who makes the call to take a child from a family and then that child is killed? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Because they have absolute immunity.

And how are they vetted as time goes on?

CPS findings are administrative yet they have the force of law. You don't get legal representation in a hearing (an attorney can advise you outside of the hearing). You don't get to face your accuser. And if you get found? Guess where the appeal goes to? Did you guess to CPS?

410 377 I don't mean to toot my own horn here, but I knew something was up back in the 90s back when people stopped referring to 'sex' and replaced it with 'gender.'

The entire premise is a trojan horse. If gender refers to something other than what is biologically determined (i.e. a social construct, or whatever), then it is useless as a descriptor or a categorical mechanism. We should never use a subjective criteria when an objective criteria exists.

I wanted them to learn to negotiate things peacefully, and regret dragging Authority into it. I didn;t one either of them feeling the other was a favorite either. I think it worked. They are very close sisters today, despite a 5 year age gap.

There are 4 quadrants to operant conditioning:

R+ add reinforcement/reward (give carrot)

R- remove reinforcement (remove carrot)

P+ add punishment (hit with stick)

P- remove punishment (stop hitting with stick)
---

Yeah, this seems to be prevalent in the workplace as well.

However, I can say that throughout my professional life, P+ ALONE is the preferred method by bosses. Once or twice a year you might get an R+, but mostly it's either The Stick or Nothing.

Of course, with elementary school kids, it's about the parents' or teachers' egos.

Right, all of this applies to managing people in a workplace as well.

I've had bosses who screamed and yelled and threw tantrums like little kids when our sales numbers were off or whatever. I can only imagine what went on in their house.

I can tell you this much -- the only thing it motivated people to do was find a new job.

The carrot is usually much more effective at motivating people (maybe with a small stick of "if you miss your goals often enough, we'll have to let you go)

478 My dad rarely spanked us boys. He was HUGE and concerned he might hurt us, but mostly he just had a really gentle, kind heart and he just couldn't stand doing it. Mom would lay it on us with a belt and really make it sting.

Usually we deserved it. Sometimes, I didn't but it didn't warp me as a child. My parents had a policy with spankings;

1) Only use as a last resort
2) Always have them walk to your room so you have time to cool down a bit
3) one spank per year of age max
4) always hug and tell the child they are loved afterward

Seemed to work well.

480 I agree that the collective punishment scheme for 7 kids wasn't optimal. From family tales, I realize what it meant in that house was that as they aged, the two oldest sisters (my mother being one) became the actual authorities in that house; their mom never got involved in anything, and no one ever told Dad anything that was going on, so he just figured things were fine.

In days gone by, I think situations like that happened a lot more often than we realize, especially in large families.

529 To add some background to the Grandpa who believed in collective punishment, with respect to the comment that some families HAVE to learn to face life like a platoon, or they're not going to survive - before the Depression, that family line had been farmers for times gone back past counting, and not village farmers, but way out in the country, maybe see your neighbors once a week, maybe go to a small town once a month kind of farmers. So, they came from a worldview where Family was your World, and like all small farmers they were also fairly poor. (but they could grow their own food) Running a farm in the old days was very labor intensive, and unless everyone throws in together, everyone is going to starve in the winter. So it's a very different kind of mindset than our modern urban one.

In a world where everyone in the group is rewarded together, and everyone suffers together, collective action is eminently logical.

Yeah well sometimes when you have a large group it's group dynamics. When I had a cottage full of South Bronx JD's in a live community they all lost privileges if one fcuked up. Sorry, but the rules were clear and fair. The peer pressure helped the cottage run smoothly, especially with gang kids. It was a fine line. Did I try to build relationships with kids sure. But order helped that be possible.

They do get sullen, though, when the shelling really kicks up and you threaten to shoot them if they desert their post.

I really, really wish I could post the photo of my 5 year old grandson sitting in the gunner's seat of one of the big AA gun units that are on display outside of the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg. It's beautiful.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but that story about the NYT is from late June.

547 Huh. How'd that happen?

548 Wheeeee! I've got the thread to myself!!!
Hmmm.
This is boring, time to lemming up to the next thread.

549 Training him with carrots instead of sticks may be more time consuming, but you end up with a much better dog at the end of the day.

Behold the power of and. Use the carrot and the stick on kids and dogs, it works wonders. With kids, if the stick is used appropriately, it is rarely needed and with the carrot, if appropriately used, it winds up getting used a lot.

550 35 -- If you are talking about the TV show Person of Interest, it is absolutely incredible. It kind of wandered aimlessly for the first couple of seasons, but when it started bearing down on the Samaritan thread, it went off like a rocket. One of the really great things is the way they ended it. They realized they'd gotten about as much mileage out of it as they could, but the station gave it 13 episodes to wrap it up. I sat on the edge of my chair for the entire 13 weeks, and when it was over I had no regrets whatsoever. I felt as if everything and everybody was in its or their proper place, unlike some series where you stare at the closing credits, screaming "WTF?"

551 There is more to gender than just chromosomes. The gestation process itself introduces somewhat as a continuum as evidenced by persons who are genetically male but phenotypically female. This DOES happen. What is the gender of these genetically male persons who seem in all other ways (other than sterility) to be female? This does not even raise the question of hermaphrodites. I think the same sort of continuum exists in brain wiring and for somewhat the same reasons, gestational variation, possibly errors if you must think of it that way. But gestation fucking up does not alter the experience of those fucked up.

If you're going to go with Latin rhymes, why not go all the way? "Pontifex Intersex Suprema Lex (What's Nex? You'll Never Guex!) T-Rex" would be a cool name. You could demand that everyone include all the punctuation, too: make them address you as "Pontifex Intersex Suprema Lex open-parentheses What's Nex question-mark You'll Never Guex exclamation-point close-parenthses T-Rex", then sue them if they forget a single item.

553 Does anyone know if that teacher story is genuine? I can't find any news reports about it which seems pretty odd.

554 Regarding the 24/Bryant post about a teacher telling him that his son needs to go to trans gender councilor (sp?). the post said that it was about Bryant's 'son'. According to Kobe Bryant's wikipedia page, he and his wife have 3 daughters. There is no mention of a son. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_Bryant#Personal_life

There is another article I found that says Bryant and his wife have 3 daughters: https://heightline.com/kobe-bryants-wife-kids-house/

And a 3rd article which indicates that his wife Vanessa wants to try for a 4th child to get a son: http://people.com/babies/kobe-bryant-wife-wants-a-son/

You might want to fact check that original post as I think it is inaccurate
