I wasn't there, don't know.
At any rate this person has gone after our firm online.
Any experience with this sort of thing? We're trying to prepare an outreach to this person if we can make contact, be nice about it, etc. Anyone know though if that fails if google lets people post negative reviews for statements allegedly made by staff in off hours (though perhaps while wearing a shirt promoting the firm?)

Find the exception to "nobody has sex with kids", find the most attractive mercy cases, pry, pry, pry away at the edifice.
As a bonus, once the ethic is degraded, any moral argument is robbed of the lazy fallback - and most people are lazy. The Air Bud clause comes into effect - "well, there isn't a rule that...".

B) determine to the best of your ability whether or not there is any truth to the statement. If it did happen, then you are on shaky ground and need to be seen to be "doing something" to dissociate your company from the behavior. (hate to say that, but it's today's corporate reality)
C) but there is also a possibility that 1) this never happened, or 2) it was just someone who got one of your t-shirts and who has nothing to do with you. In that case, you should push back hard, up to and including filing a libel lawsuit against the maker of the complaint, for making provably false allegations.

So it's fair to treat it as a truthful account of events, as far as we know.
It sucks of course that every stray thought that comes from the mouth of an employee is something we have to address, but it's far from the end of the world to issue a statement that no, we don't think lesbians should be fired, or that they are horrible. Maybe share a couple links from ace.

I hate to say it, but i think that most people are really, REALLY susceptible to social pressure from their liberal friends and acquaintances.
You don't want to argue with them about something that doesn't impact you at all (let's use gay marriage as an example) and they are so passionate about it, you just give in and say "sure, do what you want" just to shut them up. Because these issues don't impact you. At all.
That might happen on a legislative level as well. Republicans just don't care about a lot of these issues, but think (hahahhaha) if they give in on them, Democrats will be their friends and work with them on other issues. BTW... not true.
That's how we get insane shit like men in ladies dressing rooms and the government paying for a lunatic soldiers sex change operation.
However... child sex does impact parents, as did men in the ladies dressing rooms. They will continue to push it (especially since Islam loves child rape) and it will be accepted, but it might take a few decades.

I think it's being normalized via older women/young men. How often is the response to teachers sleeping with their male student an attaboy for the guy? It's not self-supporting, so a statement that x will always lead to y is not suitable as a proof.
However, reference to a similar circumstance is the most common type of slippery slope argument that is made: certain x have reliably led to certain y in the past, through steps x1, x2, x3.
It does not count as a formal proof, but it is within the bounds of logic to state that it demonstrates likelihood.
The common refutation, then is to claim that a claim is the full form statement of proof (a straw man), appeal to authority who says otherwise, and then to mock, ad hominem, anyone who states a likelihood claim.
In other words, slippery slopes are demonstrable, and their most popular rejection deserves for anyone making that rejection to receive a c* punt.

She's found her best relief is Sumitriptan, most popular brand name Imitrex, best taken just as symptoms start to set in. It doesn't work for all sufferers though, nothing does.
Interestingly, Sumitriptan is not a pain killer, and as such does not have much of an effect on what is a bad headache, but not a true migraine.

I think I read in some evolutionary biology something or other that the "hair" is to protect the family jewels (internal stuff) FROM the nasty bugs. First you need to determine whether heat or cold brings the better relief. Any relief.
It will tell you whether you're getting too much blood to the brain ( ice will help ), or not enough ( heating pad will help).
Feverfew helps a lot of people, and can help with prevention for some, but it will also depend on what the cause of the migraine is.

It was a pre-marital counseling guide for couples, but yes, it had a chapter about sex, which was more detailed than I thought a Christian guide would be. Innocous, but detailed (Sample questions: would you like oral sex, scented candles in the bedroom, bubble baths together, etc.)

When the UK initially legalized homosexuality the age of consent set for it was 21.
There is a lot more attraction, I think, to 15 and 16 year old boys among gay men than interest in 6, 9,,, or 10 year old boys.

I was at a Disney area hotel when my kids were 7-8 years old (they are twins) and there was a pool party that night for all the kids with games, sing alongs and a movie all while swimming. THIS. many of the chick teachers I've worked with have no adult social skills. They are backstabbing and cliquish. Then they work with kids all day so they dont develop any. Many also have a difficulty relating to men in the workplace. Sucks for male teachers. Walking on eggshells most of the time. I ate in my classroom becuse the teachers lunchroom was toxic.

I feel for you. We had similar initial results. After many rounds of disappointing IUIs and a miscarriage, we had 5 harvested. 2 viable and to our blessing. One took hold. Our 1st son is now five. Fortunately, after our 1st, we only needed IUI. Keep your chin up - I know it is hard, and I know it does not help to hear. Will keep you in our thoughts.

It is hard to give and receive advice when going through this, because it feels like nobody can relate. But I will say after our initial IVF success and subsequent IUI success, I am a firm believer in the power of positive mindset as a contributor to the IUI success after so many initial failures. Her mindset during each respective process was like night and day.

After my second bout of Lyme disease the razor came out with a vengeance. Fvcker got me right around the knee the second time. No 'bullseye' rash or any indication. Just sudden explosion of knee area to triple normal size. Hair gets in the way from feeling the little blood suckers moving around.
I like it now. I feel cleaner and cooler when doing my outside stuff during the summer. For me it's got nothing to do with sexual anything. Just stayin' alive.

IVF is "work" for a guy, too. I guess maybe it is easier to go to the drs office and ask for the tape with the 2 girls on it than, you know, have actual intimacy, for some people. (Everyone: snark off right now. And I mean Leon the Professional EVERYONE!!!!)
Maybe this is just easy for me to say from outside, but there is a level of commitment that has to be made to go through IVF - monetary, emotional, etc - even for the guy. So maybe this can be an opportunity to rekindle the fun part. Maybe.

At the grade school level, the comedy movie "Bad Teacher" was not only funny, it was in many ways accurate, and a delightful change from the "Teacher As Selfless Martyr" movies.
I am now seeing a lovely lady who told me, bluntly, she chose teaching because she saw herself as a mommy first, and grade school teaching was/is the ultimate "mommy track" job.
An extended summer vacation is also nice.
As for higher levels, once the Left takes over an instutition, we are *driven out*. I entertained the idea of becoming a History or Poli Sci prof once, but I saw what happened to academia, and I knew I would be effectively blackballed.
That and with the largely Asian student peer crowd I was among (think "Darby O'Gill In The Land Of The Little (Asian) People" here), the rule was if you could not hack Engineering, go pre-med, and if you could not hack pre-med, go Business. I became an accountant. :-}

Alex is using the term of art "not even wrong". Meaning that a statement depends on things so totally unrelated to what's really going wrong that calling it "wrong" is meaningless. "Jupiter has different rings than Saturn because bears have AIDS" is both wrong in two completely different ways and "not even wrong" in the popular way that the term of art is used.

Its not so much the existence as the "anal is better" push. Just one example; in the film Kingsmen, the princess can't get the hero to help her out, she promises nookie, but then she promises even better: number 2! He's all excited and runs out to beat the bad guys. Its a running theme today: sex is great but anal is best!
I do not grok, and it does seem a bit suspicious in a culture that keeps trying to convince everyone that all guys are a little bit homo and its normal to have homosexual activity, for straight guys!

I think they get chosen for their occupation when they just stare uncomprehendingly at a connect the dots book. It was pretty obvious to me that at his first meeting with Admiral Rogers he was told "this is something you should know upfront" and the cards were laid on the table.
